Beachfront holiday rentals in Sopela

The apartment was gorgeous and had everything you could need! The hosts were super responsive and communication was very clear. The location was perfect for both getting the train into Bilbao and walking to local beaches/supermarkets.

José and his mother have been very kind and attentive. They recommended local places to eat, shop, and visit. The cottage is close to beaches and has everything you need to spend a few days on vacation. The little garden where we had a barbecue, gives the house a plus. We'll definitely be back.

Beautiful location - reminded me of a Cornish fishing village. Great bars, views across the bay, watching the surfers, and a beach. You can drive to Bilbao in 35 mins, San Sebastián in just over an hour. Mundaca is just a great base to explore northern Spain, Miren is a great host and was always really helpful (we even left the key in the door and she went and sorted it for us! Highly recommend

We stayed one night at Asier's place, the apartment totally responded to our request, Asier for that matter too! Very responsive, friendly and pleasant person. 500m walk from the old port it is beautiful 25 min by car from Bilbao and otherwise 35 min by metro station just downstairs. We will come back to your place Asier for our next visits to the Basque coast!

Juan’s place was perfect, we could not fault it. We had two small kids, with a stroller and found it easily accessible by lift. We rented a mid-sized car and were able to use the car park without too much hassle. Juan and Paula were super friendly and helpful throughout. The location was fantastic for exploring Bilbao, while also offering a quieter neighbourhood and beaches nearby. The apartment was spotless and cosy, with beautiful views and the double bed was the most comfortable we have slept in! 100% recommend.

Paul was a very helpful & communicative host, he was proactive & gave us many tips of what to do & eat in the town. If you are looking for somewhere to stay that is largely off the tourist trail you could do worst than to stay at Paul's accommodation. This is a town where you can see real Basque people living authentic lives & not just another tourist trap.

Jabi is an amazing host! The apartment was clean, spacious and the perfect size for family of 5! He left us a basket of fruit and stocked the kitchen with essentials- milk, juice, coffee, olive oil, salt and pepper! He even left us potatoes so I was able to make tortilla de patatas! Communication with Jabi was excellent and was quick to respond to our texts. There were a few restaurants nearby and the beach is less than 5 minutes walk from the apartment. Highly recommend staying here and will definitely come back.

This is an apartment of superlatives! Very tastefully converted and furnished with an incredible view of the sea and harbor. However, you have to work for this apartment: three narrow, steep stairs up with the luggage (!) but it is worth it. A culinary high-end restaurant at the harbor. Check-in also worked out great.

Our stay in Sopela was wonderful. Naiara was right there to greet us when we arrived -- with a bottle of red wine and a jar of Haribo candies! The apartment is comfortable, clean, sunny, and well-furnished. The pool and Social Club at Sopelmar are excellent, and the nearby beaches are breathtaking. And Naiara was easy to communicate with the entire time. Loved our stay!

12 of us stayed with Mari Luz and had a great time. Everyone was comfortable and felt at home for the 4 nights we were there. At first I was worried that we might disturb Mari Luz but we didn't receive any complaints despite 1 or 2 late nights drinking around the dinner table. Also I'm extremely glad we stayed in Castro Urdiales instead of Bilbao since Castro was a much more relaxing and hospitable place and Bilbao was only a 30 min bus away anyway.

José Ramón's house is a great place to enjoy a few days of rest and beach! It has everything you could need, the beds are very comfortable (which, together with the tranquility of the area, makes your rest perfect), it has a wonderful garden and, in addition, everything could not be cleaner! The location is very convenient to be able to walk anywhere, but far from the area that can be more bustling (now everything was super quiet) and having the garage is another great advantage so you don't have to worry about the car. And, in addition to all this, José Ramón is a great man. Thank you very much for everything! P.S.: if you go with kids (and, if not, also :-D), the beaches of Isla are another great point in favor!

Great stay at Estíbaliz's apartment. Excellent apartment, with all the necessary accessories, comfortable in new condition, and very clean when we arrived . Excellent welcome from Estíbaliz, when we arrive to give us all the necessary explanations, and respond almost instantly to our messages, whether in writing or having it on the phone Very thoughtful, whenever we ask for information, and anything else . The location very well located, and the parking just under the apartment is locked . Another nice thing is a supermarket next door . All located Very close to downtown and beaches. We'll be back without hesitating.

The host is very friendly and helpful!There are many shops near the house, and it is close to the beach!The house is on the 5th floor with an elevator, not only that, we want to praise the host's hospitality, we love the variety of coffee machines, it's convenient and meets everyone's needs.

this was honestly one of the best stays I have ever had. If you are a solo traveler, this is the perfect nest with an incomparable view and a wonderful host. It's a great place right in the heart of things, and just a couple of minutes from the beach. Climb up to this perfect attic with views of the bay like no other. It is pure magic.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful apartment! The place is stylish, clean, and very comfortable. It’s just a short walk to the beach, and there’s a grocery store and a lovely playground right next to the building — perfect for families. There are also many great restaurants within walking distance, and the neighborhood is peaceful and picturesque. Our host was incredibly kind and welcoming, always ready to help with anything we needed. We truly felt at home and would love to come back. Highly recommended!

I had a truly wonderful stay at this apartment – everything was absolutely perfect! The flat is fully equipped with everything you could possibly need for comfortable living, beautifully maintained, and incredibly cozy. The location is just unbeatable – close to everything, in a lovely area, and honestly, I couldn’t have dreamed of a better spot. The host was exceptionally kind, responsive, and thoughtful – always ready to help and made me feel very welcome from the start. I genuinely couldn’t find a single downside. Hosts were extremely helpful. You get the ground floor & basement of their large family home to yourselves. Plenty of room. Cake & wine on arrival. Perfect base to see the Basque region & watch your team win the Europa League! Eskerrik asko!
