Great hiking areas straight out from the cabin or in the immediate vicinity, by foot or by skis. Oppdal alpine center is available right outside the cabin door. Great for randonee, alpine and cross country skiing. Walking distance to the city center. Oppdal is the place to be for all activities, and the cabin has an excellent patio with a fire pit and good sun conditions.

Bring the whole family to this great place with lots of space for fun. The cabin is located in a quiet and established cabin area at Sletvold. Walking distance to the center of Oppdal with wide selection of stores, restaurants, swimming facilities, cinema and train station. Here you can take the train to the mountains :) Good starting point for a trip to Allmannerberget, Orkelsjøen, Trollheimen, Dovrefjell, etc.

On the porch you can sit and enjoy a cup of coffee while enjoying the view. Or evenings can be enjoyed around the fire pit. In the dark season it is often to see the Northern Lights over the fjord
