The Floathouse - Floating tiny home on the Murray

The Floathouse is a luxury tiny home floating on the Murray River offering a unique and romantic experience an hour from Adelaide. Features include an outdoor bath, queen bed, sofa, WIFI, ensuite with toilet/shower, large deck with sun loungers, dining table, double swing, separate swimming platform and a BBQ for those wanting to make the most of the river views. Our kitchenette is equipped with everything you require to prepare meals. The Floathouse is moored permanently within a gated marina.

Relax on the deck with a bbq, over looking the lagoon and cliffs. Large private yard with lush lawn perfect for kids and dogs to play. The fire pit is perfect for toasting marshmallows and star gazing at the dark sky reserve. Set back from the main river for a more peaceful getaway, only 2 minutes to the boat ramp and public river bank and kiosk.

A bird watchers paradise with 80 species spotted around the gardens, so bring your binoculars.

You may find you don't want to leave but if you do there are over 80 nearby cellar doors to visit, amazing restaurants to dine at and beaches and trails to explore.

Little Rolling Home

Escape to nature's embrace at our Little Rolling Home, nestled on a stunning 12-acre block surrounded by ancient gums, a seasonal creek, and grazing sheep and cattle. Enjoy our little wood heater inside to keep you warm or sit around a fire outside. ( within fire ban season, please note fire ban runs from November 1st 2025- April 30th 2026 ) We have the beautiful Strathalbyn golf course 2 minutes drive, feel free to borrow the golf clubs and have a hit of golf.

This tiny house, the Nook, is nestled under oak trees. A perfect stay during the local wedding season, or when you just want to get out and explore. The pod was designed by Troppo Architects and built by Oscar Builders . In recognition of the thought, design approach and build quality, the Klein Pod has been furnished sparsely but with quality and purposeful use in mind. The single unit has a small kitchenette, lounge area, queen bed and combustion heater. Out on the deck you can relax on the day bed. The shower is outside behind a rustic privacy screen.
