Holiday rentals with beach access in South Carolina

Had a wonderful stay. Appreciated the attention to details, including the dog bowls. While we couldn’t see the ocean directly from our unit, it is so close and absolutely gorgeous. It is hard to explain the beach, it is breathtaking. The communication and instructions from Daphne were very helpful. This was a perfect location and unit. Would definitely consider staying here again. A few tips for next visitors - allow extra time, there is a lot a road construction en route to the island. And be aware that the unit is on the second floor, if steps are an issue. Special thanks to Daphne for opening her unit for others to enjoy.

Place was clean and nice. Location was fantastic. Lots of food and drink in walking distance. Beach was never crowded because the public could not get in through the Sea Cabins entrance.

The location was great- a short block walk to the beach. We enjoyed the porch overlooking the water. Soft bed, adequate cook wear to prepare meals. Overall great stay!!

The hosts were absolutely amazing, the place was absolutely amazing!! We had a great time, would highly highly recommend and will stay again!!

This was our 2nd year staying at Christian’s! We loved it so much the first time as soon as we left last year we booked for this summer. I can’t say enough great things the location is absolutely perfect I love the walk over the boardwalk to the beach! The condo itself is very clean and comfortable it honestly feels like just home! The kids get so excited for the bunk beds! Everything is perfectly thought out from the closet with the beach cart, chairs, sand toys, umbrella to the bookshelf in the main bedroom with an excellent selection of books! Christian is a great host and very communitive with suggestions on things to do and restaurants to visit! We had an amazing time and the only reason I haven’t already rebooked for next year is I have 4 kids and my 2 year old will have grown out of the pack n play and I’m trying to figure out where he will sleep hahaha!

We enjoyed our second visit to Alex and Karen’s place. It was just as pleasant and enjoyable as we remembered it from the previous year. The bedroom is quiet and comfortable, and the washer and dryer were a great convenience for our five-night stay. We found the kitchenette fine for fruit & cereal breakfasts, heating leftovers, and for snacks -- including more of the delicious banana nut bread provided! Alex and Karen are very gracious and accommodating, and their recommendations for restaurants and outings (as well as fascinating local history insights) were quite helpful on this visit. We enjoyed our opportunities to chat with them and to visit with their sweet golden retrievers, Telle and Skye. We would be happy to stay at their Charming Suite again.

We had a wonderful stay at Sailor’s Rest. It’s a great location for families with young kids. We enjoyed the pool, fresh eggs, fish & walkable gardens. The beach was only apx a 10min drive, and the access card they give you made it very easy. 10/10 would recommend

Jungle Surf's single-level layout with 3 queen bedrooms and 2 baths was perfect for our family. We loved the open kitchen/living/porch space. The Hammocks neighborhood is quiet and beautiful, yet close to the beach and area attractions. I used my inflatable SUP every day on the marsh waterways from the community dock (just under 1/2 mile walk from the house) & we rented kayaks for the rest of my family to join me on Saturday. We had to pick them up, which wasn't ideal for our vehicle but we made it work. Easy access thru the neighborhood gate and the house. We made our meals at the house and I was glad I brought just about everything needed for that because the Food Lion is tiny & limited. Plenty of pots & pans at the house, but could've used mixing-type bowls & spoons. There was a good selection of spices available, plus charcoal someone left & coffee filters. So thankful for a pet-friendly rental that is well cared-for and nicely appointed! Beds were comfy & we loved our stay!

This condo is in a beautiful, private location and the property is right on the golf course. It is well-furnished and has a screened porch, with cool breezes, as well as a glassed-in sleeping porch with a double-size daybed. The kitchen is large and has a wet bar with glassware, ice bucket and a very nice, complimentary bottle of wine! The kitchen is well stocked and even has a cabinet full of spices. We felt very much at home and loved going to the nearby beach, which had parking spaces and walkways across the dunes. Sitting on that porch, reading and watching golfers was a highlight. It is under trees, so plenty shady. Oh yes! There were two bikes for riding and a neighborhood pool! Very comfortable and we hope to return.

Beautiful surroundings and views of the Marsh! Extremely close to Hunting Island and all that it offers. Several local flavor restaurants within a 3 to 5 minute drive. Easy drive into Historic Beaufort. We will be back!

We had a great week! Beautiful view, spacious condo and very comfortable! The kids loved the pool and lake access both within walking distance. We also enjoyed paddle boarding and nearby hikes! Definitely recommend- we will be back.

I couldn't be more pleased with my first AirBnB stay. The place was clean, inviting, and well-stocked. I wasn't expecting spices, dog toys, dog bowls, dog cot, etc. The fully fenced in yard, lake access, available kayaks, and privacy are the only things I wanted and this place sure supplied! the hot tub, outdoor shower, and firepit were huge bonuses. Also, met and talked with the neighbor who is super friendly 😉 I stayed alone the first half with my dogs and got my peace in. The second half a couple girl friends joined and we thoroughly enjoyed paddling out the this little island and throwing rocks, trying to fish, etc. Enjoying using the coloring supplies, games, and grill as well! It did storm most of the week, but even that was enjoyable! 10/10 experience for us all.

We enjoyed our stay for several nights! Can't beat the location & scenery! The inside is just like the photos. The King bed was very comfortable as were the pillows. Short walk out to the beach/ocean. We really enjoyed sitting on the screened porch. We enjoyed eating at the Seacow & Crust pizza place. Crissy is a great host! We will return.

We came to town on a girls beach trip and this stay was perfect!! The location is amazing, and we felt very safe and comfortable here. The house has all of the basics you’d need. And extra beach towels!! Overall - we will absolutely be back and had a great stay. Karl was a 10/10 host, he was great at checking in to make sure we were comfy and always responded quickly!!

This is a nice house with a lot of really great perks. The golf cart, kayaks, fishing rods, beach equipment, and more made it easy to enjoy the week. The location is peaceful and ideal for fishing but not perfect for swimming or waves; we went to adjacent Hunting Island State Park for the kids to ride waves (a state park pass is included by the host). We enjoyed our week!

This place was absolutely perfect. This is the only place I’d like to stay moving forward when visiting Myrtle Beach. The space is bright, clean, and stocked with any and everything you’d need during your stay. Truly felt like home away from home. Loved the beach house decor, view, and how every room has access to the balcony. Lillie was so responsive and accommodating. The staff, security and residents were very friendly and helpful. My family and I definitely felt like we found a gem!

Exactly what we were looking for and needed!!! Our kids had never been to the beach before and I hadn’t been to HHI in 39 years. Maria’s condo was not only beautiful, it was in the perfect place, looked exactly like the pics if not better.. had EVERYTHING we needed and could have wanted and Maria herself is/was wonderful. Responsive.. friendly.. and gave us all the info we could need… instructions, recommendations, and fantastic advice!!! Thank you so much.. we can’t wait to go back! 😃❤️

Condo was super easy to get to on the first floor and definitely oceanfront. Although we were on the first floor, we could still see 98% of the ocean over the dunes and easily hear the waves crashing from the balcony. We got to see a family of rabbits hopping through the dune grasses and 99.9% of the time no one is seen between our balcony and the ocean… giving the feeling of seclusion in a populated area. Everything worked as it should in every room in the condo… fantastic TVs, extremely good shower heads, sturdy beach chairs, stout beach umbrella w/ anchor, comfortable plush leather sofa, and a very comfy form fitting memory foam king bed with plenty of pillows for even the finicky sleeper. 99% of my kitchen needs were met…i’ll remember the cooking spray next time. The plush white sand was a pleasant surprise as well as how level and firm the sand gets when the tide goes out, great for bocce ball! BTW, just about any kind of tent, wind shade or popup is allowed on the beach.

Mike is the best host, quick to respond and eager to accommodate. When we asked a question on the app, he always responded immediately. The place was very clean and exactly as advertised. Looking forward to booking with him again!

Amazing place. I’ve gone to Myrtle beach my entire life and this is the first time we’ve stayed here and it will be my new go-to. Super clean, extremely responsive host, beautiful view right on the ocean. Also the on site restaurant is amazing.
