Park your car in the secured basement carpark free of charge or you have a choice of public transport - use the bus, train or trams and all just a few minutes apart. 6 minute WALK to Glenferrie Station and Hawthorn Arts Centre, 10 minute stroll to Swinburne University, Aquatic and Leisure Centre, Lido Cinema, all supermarkets, coffee shops, cafes, restaurants and shops. No need for books either - the Library is across the road. Walk into the apartment and you are surrounded by a lovely wrap around decking and garden area to sit in, enjoy the sunshine and listen to the birds and watch the butterflies. The apartment is bathed in natural light with an abundance of windows and sliding doors bringing the outside in! Sleep in quality comfortable bedding (Queen size bed plus Double bed) and relax in your chaise lounge with 55" 4K LED TV (Ultra HD) with a brilliant LG panel, 4 x HDMI inputs, record live TV and play all your media on USB or through HDMI or choose to watch a movie free on Netflix. The shopping precincts of Richmond, Malvern, Prahran and South Yarra are short tram stops away or just use the shopping strip right at your doorstep. You will have access to the whole EXTREMELY QUIET apartment and serene wrap around PRIVATE garden, secured basement carpark with your own carspace and CHOICE of lift or stairs. We will be easily contactable by phone, text, email and via the Airbnb App and will meet and greet each guest to make sure you are comfortable and have everything you need. For those who need it, we will provide information about the local area prior to your arrival so you can make the most of your stay and enjoy every minute. We will be happy to assist you with the purchase of a myki card/cards for your public transport. We have provided you with a detailed information folder and every instruction manual for all appliances and locks in the apartment. We live 15 to 20 minutes drive away from the apartment. It is therefore important that guests message us or telephone us prior to check-in date to give us details of anticipated time of arrival. If you are arriving from overseas and do not have access to local calls on arrival, it is important that you send us your flight details and arrival time at least 24 hours before check-in date so that we can track your flight (in case it is delayed or early) and be at the apartment to meet you and hand over keys and show you around the apartment and complex. Thereafter, you will be left in peace and quiet to enjoy your stay in "your home away from home". Hawthorn is a beautiful, green upmarket suburb just minutes from the city with picnic spots, parks, biking, and hiking trails. The shopping precincts of Richmond, Malvern, Prahran, and South Yarra are only short tram stops away. The tram stop is outside the main front door for Tram Routes 16 & 74 or 5 minutes walk to Riversdale Road or Burwood Road tramlines. Barkers Road will take you to Richmond and Victoria Gardens Shopping Centre or take a leisurely walk along Burwood Road and the Yarra River. Catch Route 75 trams along Riversdale Road to Etihad Stadium, Cooks' Cottage, Melbourne Aquarium, Federation Square and Bridge Road shopping or in the other direction to Vermont South. Catch Route 70 trams to Swan Street Shopping Centre, Melbourne Star Observation Wheel, Harbour Town Shopping Centre, Docklands, Melbourne Aquarium, MCG, Rod Laver Arena, Hisense Arena and AAMI Park. Glenferrie Train Station is your nearest station. It is just a 6 minute walk from the apartment and nearly all express trains stop at Glenferrie Station. The train will take you to Melbourne Central in under 10 minutes. Glenferrie Station is on the Lilydale, Belgrave and Alamein lines. Even crossing the road is not difficult as you have crossing lights on either side of your location. Feel safe with security cameras in the common areas of the building. The building and apartment are wheelchair accessible. The apartment is so quiet and surrounded by greenery, birds and butterflies- you wouldn't believe you are in an apartment with every convenience at your doorstep.

Admire the city lights from the patio of this stylish studio. This relaxing, minimalist space has been renovated with care, and designed with ultimate comfort in mind. Some of our favourite features - All amenities provided — including toiletries Amazing natural light and fresh air (block out curtains too though!) You can walk just about anywhere in the CBD, Southbank and throughout gorgeous Carlton, home of the iconic Exhibition Buildings and gardens - which we are directly opposite! 4 major supermarkets within walking distance, along with pharmacies This huge studio is a short stay apartment - no one lives there and it is specifically set up for guests to have the most enjoyable stay. Fully equipped, including a welcome goody basket upon arrival, and a guest guide book full of our top tips to get the most out of your visit to the area. With a deco inspired entrance, wrought iron gates and solid brick exterior, it is one of the few residences from this era that remain in Melbourne. Our studio is set up for guests with all the kitchen and bathroom amenities you need to make your stay easy and enjoyable. It has just been fully refurbished (largely by us!) to make it as comfortable and convenient as possible. Features - - huge, fully stocked kitchen with all utensils, as well as condiments, spices, tea and coffee - private walk in robe/dressing room area all bathroom items included - fresh towels, body wash, shampoo and conditioner - loads of storage space for all of your belongings - designed for guests - coin laundry on same floor (washing liquid, clothes airer and basket provided) - secure car space - sofa bed sleeps additional 1-2 people and can be made up on request - inside living area - Myki cards provided for public transport, only top up required - balcony area with seating and city views - full blockout curtains so you aren’t woken by the morning sun unless you want to be - high speed internet - windows with city views -gym on site - it is being refubished in future so we haven’t listed it as a 'feature' due to it’s age, but the equipment is in good condition - a high chair, portcot and bouncer can be made available upon request - please note the apartment is on the second floor and without childproofing so people may want to take this into consideration when booking -Please note this is a studio apartment - hotel style living where the bed is situated in the main living area. We live a few minutes away and love to meet and greet our guests and give them the inside scoop on the area, as it's our neighbourhood. We are available easily if needed, and happy to help any time during your stay. All the apartments face the outside so you have your own private entrance and security door within the premises. The car space is located within the grounds and is accessed with an electronic fob. The apartment is located on the 2nd floor and can be accessed via lift or stairs. We aim to meet and greet our guests whenever we can, and we are just a few minutes away if needed. We don’t live in the complex, so you have privacy, peace and quiet. There is a full guest guide inside the studio featuring our recommendations on the best places to eat, drink and visit during your stay. Carlton is one of the best places to stay in Melbourne. It epitomises everything about Melbourne culture, with amazing cafes, markets, gardens, and restaurants right on the doorstep. It is moments away from the bright lights of the city centre. You can walk to the city centre in a few minutes. From the centre there are trams, trains and buses to take you anywhere in Melbourne. There is a bike hire stand directly across the road in front of the Exhibition Buildings. Free parking is on site if you have a car. Uber and Taxi services will be on your doorstep in minutes. This is a beautiful quiet building on the edge of the city and we appreciate the co-operation of our guests in respecting our neighbours during their stay by keeping the noise down. The studio is in a double brick building with windows on every side, so the temperature is always very comfortable. The ceiling fan with reverse heat function is all we have needed so far.
