Very cozy place! It was right by the water with a beautiful view. Very convenient as well. We were about a 30 minutes drive from Downtown Halifax. Ashley was very responsive and helpful. Beautiful place and amazing host! I'd stay there again. :)

David’s instructions were great and the location was close to a lot of restaurants and an easy walk to the waterfront.

From the moment we walked into Jennifer’s home we felt so comfortable. The home is beautifully laid out and was very clean. It had everything we could have needed for our stay. Jennifer was so helpful with recommendations of things to do in the area and she was always very quick to respond to any questions. We would definitely stay here again if we are in the Halifax area.

This place was great, beautiful house and perfect distance from the city. Their dog is very friendly and great to play with outside in the back. Clean place and had everything we need.

Location, location, location! You can’t pick a better place for peaceful trip to Peggy’s Cove. Easy walk down to light house and shops. Kitchen has everything to cook and enjoy meals on patio. You also are not too far to drive to other towns to visit for day trips.

Thanks for accomadating our additional request on our last night, it was the grand finally of our trip.

Appreciate the quick responses and getting the place ready with such short notice. Plane diversions from weather caused us to end up unexpectedly in Halifax - nice to keep the whole family together and ended up really enjoying the great area.

The Anchorage is a piece of Hubbards history and the perfect spot for exploring the South Shore. Katelyn is a brilliant host. Would recommend.

The cottage in Hubbards was ideal for our stay. My daughter loved the little playground behind. Everything was clean and it was an extremely relaxing stay. Thank you for your great place and kind discussions whenever we passed each other during the days!

Our little cabin was more than enough! Clean and comfortable. I wish we could have stayed longer! I'm so glad we stayed local one day and visited the library and local eateries. Our host was easy to talk to and very responsive. We also loved the kayaks. We will be back!

David’s property overlooking Shad Bay is a gem with a wonderful view! The kitchen was well stocked, and he even provided a dozen eggs, juice and bread should one desire a hearty breakfast to cook on a two burner induction hot plate. The kitchen, while large, is not designed to cook full dinners. The bed was very comfortable. David’s decorating style is eclectic with a good dose of contemporary mixed in with traditional furnishings and the art taking center stage. David greeted us upon arrival and we spoke with him every morning. We had delightful conversation. A highlight for us was interacting with Molly and Peaches, a small poodle and a large doodle. We would highly recommend David’s accommodation!

Very comfortable and lots of room. Loved how close it was to a store with take out excellent food!

The place was very organized and welcoming. It had everything we could need, it was in a very clean condition, and very well equipped. There was a guide with things to do and places for food. One thing to keep in mind is that there is an open roof so id recommend bringing eye masks. It was fun watching the wild life out the window.

We highly recommend Tammy's home. She should write a user guide for how to create a warm and inviting airbnb. The place was chosen mostly for the location, which was perfect. The thought and detail she put into this place was incredible. The house was spotless and had every amenity you could ask for. A 15 minute walk gets you to the Halifax ferry. The bridge to Halifax is a 5 minute drive away. From your personal deck, you can see the water. It was perfect. Thank You!

Bruce was the perfect hostess and very accommodating. Him and his wife even invited us to join them for Christmas dinner. The accommodations were very clean and inviting. It was beautiful decorated with some Christmas decorations. The shower head was the best I have had. I need to ask Bruce what kind it is. We were able to check in early and check out at our leisure. I will definitely be staying again if need be

I had a great stay at this Airbnb! The location was perfect—just a short walk to lots of great local bars, restaurants, and close to both downtown and the Harbour area. The space was clean, well-equipped, and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The view from the balcony was beautiful! Check-in and check-out were super easy and hassle-free. I’d definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

Michelle's place is really amazing, located in the nicest surroundings of Halifax, close to Lake Thomas which offers a variety of activities. It's just a 15min drive from Halifax Downtown and Halifax International Airport. So, whatever you opt out for, everything's possible. We enjoyed the beautiful surroundings and neighbourhood as well as Michelle's place which is spacious enough for two people and has a nice porch for good-weather-days. Equipment and decoration are well chosen, Michelle gives you all necessary hints for inside and outside and communication is very friendly so that nothing stands in the way to a perfect stay in Waverley. We really loved our time here.

We stayed for 6 months and it was absolutely wonderful! There were lots of beaches and trails nearby to take our dog. The views were amazing! We even saw a seal once! The apartment was beautiful as well, especially the kitchen (as someone who loves to cook and bake it was perfect!) It's the perfect distance from Halifax if you don't like the bustle of a city but still want to do some sightseeing if you don't mind driving a bit! Overall we loved every part of our stay :)

My husband and I enjoyed our stay here. The host was extremely helpful and kind. We come out to nova scotia once a year and always love our time here. The host was so kind to let us charge our car on their property with our janky 100ft extention cord. The host was so kind when we met them in person one morning.

Extraordinary property with expansive windows overlooking the lake and a stunning deck for enjoying the view. The interior was both comfortable and stylish, with tasteful designer touches throughout. Outside, the gas fire pit and string lights created a magical setting for evening s’mores. Beds were incredibly comfortable, and the kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed. The hosts, Vicky and Steve, were responsive and thoughtful throughout our stay. Note: the steep, unpaved driveway requires AWD—it wasn’t an issue for us and actually added a sense of adventure. There is an alternative place to park vehicles midway for non-AWD vehicles. The only downside was unexpected construction on the lot next door starting Monday, which brought some loud noise. An excavator was moving boulders to clear out space to build a house. Vicky and Steve handled it quickly and graciously with alternative options. Aside from that, the stay was absolutely wonderful.
