Holiday rentals with a fire pit in South India

This place was too good to be true. Have never found a better AirBnb as of now. The location was absolutely beautiful surrounded by hills on all side. The weather added to the charm. Could see the clouds moving towards us. The caretaker Mr. Chandrashekhar was a great person. Helped us with our meal requirements and provided all necessary help, including local guidance. A perfect place for anyone looking for a peaceful outing.

Room is clean and neat with super silent air conditioner, wardrobe with locker and cloth hangers, bedside tables, dressing table, spongy bed with multiple pillows and extra bed in case required. Washroom is clean with hot water and other amenities. Kitchen equipped with all appliances and essential consumables, compact dining arrangement. Inverter & ironing facility also available. Near to Bakel fort and beaches. Thrikkannapuram Thriambakeswara temple. On the bank of Bakel river. Cultivated coconut, arecanut & other fruit plant. An upcoming farm is a good view. Complementary breakfast is served, lunch & dinner to be managed by the guests. Nearby restaurant contacts are made available at the villa. Hospitality is fantastic throughout the stay and reachable over phone at any time for any assistance.

This is a great Airbnb. The host has provided almost all the necessary items, which is quite rare. The view you get here is serene and calming, making the stay even more enjoyable.

Amazing experience at the Nilgiris! We loved our stay at Thakur Cottage and really enjoyed the hospitality of the host and the staff at the property. Some key highlights: - The view of the place is breathtaking and gave us a really serene and calm feeling away from the city hustle bustle - ⁠The different view points and seating spaces were well appointed and add to the comfort of being in the cottage - ⁠The place is quite well maintained and spacious for a family to have a relaxing stay - ⁠The parking space was ample and the beds were comfortable - ⁠Suresh and Suganthi really add to the overall experience with their prompt service and delicious homely preparations - my parents and wife were mighty impressed with their cooking and warmth in behaviour Overall I was very happy with the trip. Would definitely like to return at some point in the future 😄

We had a great time together as a family, with food and in room services on demand the trip was very comfortable and also allowed us to spend some quality time together. The location and ambience is exceptional. Having facilities like steam room and spa within the villa supprted by the Ravine Hotel's in-villa masseur services ensured we spent our team relaxing every bit of the minute we stayed. For adrenaline junkeys in my family the Para Gliding sport just next door ensured they tick one more bucket list item. Will however suggest slightly better cleaning and maintenance for bathrooms though they were good but can be better.

This was a great location, exactly what we needed for a few days getaway from hectic metropolitan life. The food offered at the location was homely and hygeinic, something I personally appreciate over spiced up restaurant offering. The last few hundred metres of access to the property is on unpaved roads. Those driving low slung sedans should treat carefully. Stock up on all your needs before you get to the property - the area is fairly isolated, and the drive to Sakleshpur takes a bit of time due to the winding mountain roads, with potential elephant encounters. To our plesant surprise, the roads were excellent throughout the drive from Bangalore and utility power remained uninterrupted through our stay. The staff were very kind, and accommodated our requests willingly. It took us a shade over four hours to drive from Yelahanka to the location, so this is very much doable over a weekend break.

Wonderful place to go to disconnect. Property owner and caretaker were extremely helpful and considerate. Would highly recommend going here again.

We had a nice stay with my family. The place is very comfortable stay and the host is quick to respond. The gym is excellent and there is a resident exercise physiologist on hand too. For a small fee they can also set up and help you follow a routing. This worked really well for my father, he was at the gym everyday. There is also a really nice view. The pool was kept very clean and we used it nearly everyday. The kitchen is fully equipped with excellent non-stick (healthy non-stick with no PIFA as I have at home) so we really liked this. There are a few excellent restaurants close by, great food, walking is possible but it really depends on you, but the roads to it may not be for everyone. But certainly excellent dining options. You can always order food to the apartment and it is very easy for delivery folks to find the place, so no issue there. Normally we stay in Colombo but this time we couldn't find a nice place, but this space turned out to be fantastic and served us well.

I stayed at this Airbnb in Lodha Belmonto, Ravet for one night and had an excellent experience. The check-in and check-out process was smooth and hassle-free. The space was clean, peaceful, and completely private, perfect for a quiet and comfortable stay. Reliable Wi-Fi was available throughout, which added to the convenience. The host was friendly and provided helpful recommendations for nearby restaurants and places to visit, which enhanced the overall experience. There were no issues at all during my stay, and everything was exactly as described. Overall, a well-managed and enjoyable stay. I would definitely recommend this place to others looking for a short, peaceful visit in the area.

The property was clean and well-maintained, offering a peaceful and serene atmosphere especially beautiful during the rainy season. The owner was very proactive and always ready to help whenever needed. I did notice a minor gas leak issue, but he assured me it would be fixed the very next day. Overall, it was a pleasant stay and everything else was great.

We had a very good breakfast in her dining room and this is an experience that you will not get at a normal hotel. The apartment is conveniently located close to all the amenities. The apartment was clean and modern with all the necessary facilities for a comfy stay. Chiran and his farther was able to ready the place on a very short notice and really thankful for that. Had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend the place for a stay in Colombo.

very clean and well-equipped apartment... upstairs of a family living below very nice and discreet and present if needed... a unique air conditioning in the room which is paid for and is not reported as such. very close to the big traffic of the city and the sea, but far enough away to sleep properly!!

The Propeller itself was cozy and thoughtfully decorated, with all the amenities you could need. Excellent property to spend a cozy time. The rooms are uniquely designed to give a different vibe. There is greenery all around with an amazing view of tea estates. Food options are easily accessible nearby and host guided us very well with minute details. Caretaker Krishna was very courteous and provided whatever we need . The entire property is very well thought through and designed, something to be appreciated!!

Peaceful, Clean, Simple, Clutter free, Homely Waking up to birds in the morning and going to bed after looking at the starry sky has been an experience that will stay with us for a really long time. Soochipara waterfall is really close and so are some of the entertainment spots. In house kitchen is outstanding, we really enjoyed food, hospitality and the fast service. Mr Ansar does his job perfectly and knows about the local spots which is really helpful in planning the day.

We had a wonderful stay at the resort, thanks to our amazing host, Iona. She was incredibly helpful and kind, assisting us in planning our days and ensuring we felt welcome. The food was freshly prepared from a homemade kitchen, adding a delightful touch to our experience. The location was easy to find, and Iona made sure everything was smooth. The place is around 20km from Talakaveri. Been there for my wedding anniversary this year. Waking up to the greenery and sound of the birds chirping was an absolute delight.
