Absolutely stunning house first time in Martinborough and we enjoyed every minute of it. It was picturesque and luxurious and worth the amount we paid for it. The hosts were amazing and made sure that our stay was very comfortable and that we had no issues. Would highly recommend this stay to anyone that is looking for a quiet weekend away. The location was amazing as well as it is very close to a lot of the wineries.

Lovely place to stay! My whānau and I really enjoyed it… the setting is just gorgeous, so quiet, picturesque, and tranquil. The studio is compact and well equipped. We didn’t realize the queen bed is in the living space but it wasn’t a problem. Our daughter slept in the kids room and enjoyed having a “big girl bed” (bunk bed) all to herself. She loved the chickens too. Close to Patuna archway and Martinborough cycle tours. Would definitely recommend. 👍

Had a great stay at David's with the partner and young dog.. treats on arrival were a nice surprise plenty of firewood. push bikes were a bonus. easy check in and easy communication with David.. house was tidy with plenty to keep entertained with local information provided. was perfect location for what we were after for a short trip. morning trip to Morrisons bush. lunch and drinks at the wineries. night out at a few bars in martinborough, finished with some whitebaiting out the coast of Lake ferry. cheers david

Off the grid but everything we needed. Great to meet the animals on our walk to the river. Flowing creek with water wheel, friendly piwakawaka, tons of stars overhead in the night sky. Just a peaceful, picturesque, lovely place to stay and Jane made us very welcome.

Delightful cottage as described. Comfortable, spacious, clean & situated in a beautiful setting. Perfect place to accommodate our group of 5 adults visiting the region for the House & Garden Tour. We had a great stay at Nicole's cottage -- lovely and peaceful, and a great place to chill out. Natasha really enjoyed feeding the sheep, and the dogs were always keen for pats! Greytown is only a short drive away, and very easy to access.

The host was so thoughtful - everything we needed for a relaxed time away was there - and graciously accommodated any request. The home has every creature comfort you might need. The outlook from the house was tranquil and yet so close to town.

On our way from the south to the north of Nee Zealand we stopped at Christine‘s and Baz‘ beautiful AirBnB. We arrived around an hour before sunset and still had a chance to explore the huge garden and surrounding countryside. The place itself was very beautifully maintained, the decor was very pretty and tasteful, and there was a lot of attention to detail! When we arrived we found fresh roses from the garden, selfmade jams and fresh cookies along with coffee and milk, which was super nice. If we weren’t on a tight schedule, we would have loved to stay longer! Recommend 10/10

I stayed at Andy and Sue’s place with my new husband after we got married at a local vineyard and restaurant - Coney Wines/3 Little Words. They were really accommodating and let us check in 3 hours early as our ceremony started at 3pm. This meant we could have all our belongings at the house after the wedding. The home was really clean, and had a beautiful country cottage feel. I loved waking up and looking at the Tararua mountains, the vegetable garden and the free roaming chickens.

great little escape for 2. highly recommend it for anyone looking for a cheeky little get away. relaxing and off the beaten track. well done team 👍

This stunning property provided the perfect setting for celebrating my mum’s 70th birthday weekend. The accommodation matched the listing description and photos exactly, offering ample space and excellent heating for our group of eight. While we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, an outdoor fire pit would be a wonderful enhancement to make the beautiful outdoor areas more enjoyable during cooler weather. We would definitely recommend this property to other guests!

We had a fantastic long weekend at the cottage on the farm! It is a relaxing, peaceful and beautiful destination to unwind and recharge from city life in! It is just as the pictures show. Loved having a peaceful early morning coffee out in the garden and listening to all the beautiful birds! The cottage is thoughtfully set up, perfectly clean with attention to so many details to make our stay enjoyable. It is clear Mike and Will enjoy setting up the accomodation as there are so many nice little thoughtful touches. Mike and Will were friendly and available to walk us and our daughter around the farm to feed animals. Lovely private garden with really secure fencing that contained our little dog and she had a great time exploring in. Mike was also very thoughtful dropping over bean bags and blankets for us to star watch in the evening as well. Thanks also for the rolling pin and trays for our home made pizzas!

We absolutely loved our stay. Such a great spot, warm, great amenities, and spotless. Feeding and patting their beautiful, friendly sheep was our highlight - and Cherie provided us with more food when we ran out! Highly recommend 😊

Lovely spacious house in rural setting close to town. Comfortable and extra cosy with fireplace roaring. Well equipped kitchen. Great outdoor spaces to relax in the sun with a lovely outlook. Bonus to be able to have our dog with us. Carol is friendly and also responded quickly when we have a couple of queries. Short drive to Henley Lake which is a great dog friendly area to run and walk.

Leafy Ridge is the perfect getaway from Wellington. The self-contained room is private and quiet, with a lovely view over the olive grove. We enjoyed wandering among the trees (bring gumboots if it’s wet) and exploring the neighbouring towns. Craig and Ruth are generous, thoughtful hosts who made us feel completely at home. During our stay, we were allowed to harvest some olives for brining at home and even got to taste freshly pressed olive oil. Craig shared the olive oil-making process with us, and Ruth’s breakfasts were generous and delicious. This was our second visit, and without a doubt, we’ll be back again!

The place is nice, very peaceful, beautiful garden. We were lucky to have the whole place to ourselves. Robert is very friendly and good communicator. Strongly recommend and we definitely will go back again.

a great spot with a flexible and helpful host. very easy to locate with lots of parking, big open rooms. we didn't require a 4th bed but it was a little awkward if we did considering it's in the hallway. maybe suitable for a child/family arrangement.

Great stay, everything was clean and well presented and nice breakfast provided. Very helpful and responsive when I need to borrow an iron for a suit for a wedding at last minute.

The house blew us away - even better than the photos! It's filled with hidden treasures we kept discovering throughout our stay. We couldn't stop marveling at its beauty as we explored. It's impeccably decorated to match its historic charm. The instructions provided were clear, and we had everything we needed. While we enjoyed exploring nearby towns like Greytown and visiting the Martinborough wineries, we were always eager to return and enjoy the house to the fullest.
