Guesthouse Refshalegården

Enjoy a cozy holiday in the countryside - in UNESCO's biosphere area, close to the medieval town of Stege, near the water and in the middle of nature. We are a family consisting of a Danish/Japanese couple, three small dogs, a cat, sheep, running ducks and chickens. We have renovated the entire farm to the best of our abilities and with a high degree of recycled materials. We love to travel and make sure the house is comfortable and cozy. In a few square meters, we have created a smart and modern compact living where we have taken advantage of every square meter. Here you can take walks in a rural environment or just relax on the private patio (40 m2) with its own hot tub. Accommodation - Hyllie station (where Emporia shopping center is located) takes 12 minutes by bus. Hyllie station - Copenhagen city center takes 28 minutes by train.

With the most beautiful view of the fields and all the way to the Baltic Sea, your stay here in our quiet cottage will make you completely relaxed! The detached cottage is located in a small village on Vestmøn, very close (about 10-15 min. walk) to the most beautiful sandy beach. Bicycles (cottage bikes) are available for free. Here you will enjoy the silence and the beautiful nature that Møn offers, in full. The cottage is a detached house next to our large cottage (a former historic house).

Close to the large forest area at Gjorslev Manor is "Bakkeskov", which is a beautiful and cozy 4-wing farm. The guest house is in the original barn building, which, after a thorough renovation, has achieved a fantastic transformation. Visible beams and idyllic stable windows preserve the authentic look of a former barn. In the 78 m2, there is both a cozy sleeping area with a double bed /B:180 cm, as well as an open kitchen-living room environment, as well as a modern bathroom with shower.

Idyllic former farmhouse in Danish countryside

The house is a traditonal Danish countryside house, 20 km from Roskilde. Here you can enjoy the Danish “hygge”, with peace and nature that you’ll find nowhere else. Relax on the terrasse in the garden, walk in the woods or to Gershøj beach. Go biking on the “fjordsti” which follows Roskilde and Ise fjord, just 1.5 km from the house. Bikes can be borrowed here for free. In winter, you can make a fire. Breakfast and dinner can be arranged upon request and against fees.

Fjordgarden - Guesthouse

Our guest house is situated only 100m from Holbæk Fjord by a little lake surrounded by trees. When you live in the house you are close to nature, with easy access to the Fjord. The fjord is often used for water sports. Bicycle- and walking routes makes it easy to take tours, and with a short distance to the center of Holbæk (5 km) you can easily experience the town. Because of the lake, just in front of the guesthouse, it is not suitable for smaller children.

The house is located in the small village, Vindebæk, not far from Fanefjord Forest, where the beech is reflected in the blue waves, and there is only a short distance to the unspoiled Vindebæk Beach, which is located right at Grønsund's estuary in the Baltic Sea. Apartment "Speicher" in a converted barn

The cozy apartment "Speicher" is located in the upper area of a converted barn. The apartment is lovingly and detailed furnished and nothing should be missing to enjoy relaxing days here. As hosts, we are available if guests need anything. Bread delivery service is available and we are happy to answer any questions. Our wish is to share our beautiful, idyllic farm with guests.
