Cottage holiday rentals in Southern Province

Unser Aufenthalt war rundum gelungen! Der Gastgeber war äußerst höflich und jederzeit ansprechbar. Wenn wir etwas benötigten, konnten wir ihn unkompliziert über Chat Nachricht kontaktieren – er antwortete meist sofort und kümmerte sich schnell um unsere Anliegen. Besonders hervorzuheben ist, dass er uns am Abreisetag zu einem fairen Preis mit dem Auto zur nächsten Unterkunft gebracht hat. Die Zimmer waren schön eingerichtet, die Außenanlage liebevoll und ansprechend gestaltet. Insgesamt eine sehr angenehme Atmosphäre – wir können diese Unterkunft eindeutig weiterempfehlen!

Rien à redire ! J’ai passé un séjour magnifique dans ce petit have de paix ! L’hôte était d’une gentillesse incroyable ! L’emplacement est dans un lieu calme où vous vous endormirez avec le bruit des vagues ! Le lieu était magnifique ! J’ai beaucoup apprécié les vélos à disposition pour découvrir les environs ! Les petits déjeunes sont excellents et très copieux ! Je recommande vivement ce logement si vous êtes de passage dans le sud !

Прекрасный дом, подходит даже для длительного проживания. Немного дискомфорта доставил запах, который остался от ремонта или от чего-то еще, в остальном все супер.

Я рекомендую это жилье для длительного пребывания. Снимали виллу на 3 этаже на месяц. По такой цене очень хороший вариант! Большая комната, полностью укомплектованная кухня, уютная гостиная. Все соответствует фото. Единственное, что может стать неудобным - это местоположение. Вам нужен байк или другое средство передвижения тут. Но хозяин Химаш помог с арендой байка по выгодной цене! На первом этаже у семьи есть небольшой магазин, который работает целый день - можно купить все предметы первой необходимости - очень удобно. Химаш и его семья - очень приятные люди, отвечали на все вопросы и помогали. Семья угощала нас традиционным Шри Ланкийским завтраком и готовили bbq! Было очень вкусно) Кстати, зоной bbq можно пользоваться и самостоятельно Если вы ищите спокойное, удобное место, где можно отдохнуть от шума, расслабиться и насладиться природой - вам точно сюда Ах, да! Вид из окон и с веранды заслуживает отдельного внимания! Рисовые поля, пальмы, аисты..красота!

I could not have wished for a better place to land in the culture of Sri Lanka. Agapi Villa, truly lives up to its name: love. The loving attention that this place is created with is felt within every detail. The shower is fantastic, the kitchen has all you need to create a home-cooked meal. The bicylcle I could borrow added a lot of value to my experience. Cycling through the country side, along the ocean and to the near by city made me able to really feel as if I was taking part in the Sri Lankan life. To meet Christina, Keshan and their family and get to peek into the life they are living; a full devotion to care for the street dogs in Sri Lanka, truly left an Imprint in my heart. As well as their heart warming presence and genuine care and help during my stay. If you are wish to experience Sri lanka in an authentic way, away from the mass tourist and find yourself at one of the beaches that make you feel as if you are inside of a post-card, this is the place for you to be!

The cottage is at the entrance of a main bigger property which is a large villa with 4 bedrooms. This main villa has a pool, a lawn and access to the beach. So crossing paths with other guests should be expected. Lakmal & staff are very hospitable and can prepare wonderful meals and help out with local transportation and give tips on nearby locations. The main kitchen has all supplies and Lakmal can arrange for any groceries, fruits etc at some advance notice. It is advisable to reach the location with basics like milk, tea, coffee, oil, sugar etc on you as the location is a bit remote. The cook dishes up nice elaborate meals on request and everyone is very attentive, polite & responsive. True Sri Lankan hospitality. The beach is quite private and only village folk & fishermen access it mostly. Walks in the neighbourhood are very rewarding and you will spot peacocks and water monitors casually. It's a perfect getaway.

For me staying at Dhammika's cozy little house was one of the best airbnb experiences I have had. I really felt like home here. The house was clean, kitchen was very well equipped and the bed was so comfortable. It's next to a busy street, but it didn't bother me at all. Within a walking distance nice and peaceful beach with a lovely seafood restaurant! I liked everything about this house. Still the best part was the hospitality of the host and his family and even friends! This was beyond touristy, instead I was priviledged to become part of the community and get to know Sri Lanka a bit deeper. Thank you once again!

We had a lovely stay in the Ocean cottage! We really appreciated the pool, sunbeds and view! It was a really peaceful and calm surrounding. The bedrooms were spacious and clean and a smaller kitchen and dining area and also very friendly caretakers. We didn’t get the private chef but had good restaurants near by!

Mein Mann und ich haben eine Woche im Penthouse Zion mit traumhaften Ausblick in den tropischen Garten gewohnt. Arnaud hat sich von Anfang der Reise bis zum Schluss mit Hinweisen und Ratschlägen um uns gekümmert. Er hat auch köstliches Essen für uns zubereitet! Die Wohnung - vor allem mit offenem Wohnzimmer ist wunderschön und vermittelt Natur pur! Ambalagonda ist etwa 8 Kilometer entfernt und Tuk Tuk Hin und Zurück kostet 1000 lkr ! Von Ambalagonda nach Galle haben wir HIN Bus und ZURÜCK Zug genommen. Um noch mobiler zu sein, haben wir uns einmal den Motorradroller von Arnaud ausgeborgt und sind die schönen Strände der Gegend abgefahren! Wir empfehlen die Wohnung gerne weiter an Leute, die die Natur schätzen und gerne mit Vogelgezwitscher geweckt werden möchten!

Ubytování splnilo očekávání, vynikající poloha s úžasným výhledem na oceán, milý a ochotný personál. Ocenili jsme příjemný bazén, vybavení domu je starší a zasloužilo by renovaci.

Vielen Dank für die tolle Zeit die wir hier verbringen durften! Das Haus und der Garten sind riesig! Sisira hat sich rührend um uns gekümmert. Wir können die Unterkunft absolut empfehlen!

Wonderful cottage in its own stunning garden overlooking lake koggala - so quiet and tranquil - the staff were amazing - breakfast and other meals cooked on request to high standard and security at night with three fabulous dogs so you always felt very safe and looked after all the time! Ty and go on a boat safari (there are crocodiles!!!) so best not to swim in the lake But a sweet pool will allow you to cool off. The staff can order a tuk tuk if you need one and Cecilia arranged a great car for the airport run. Would highly recommend this for a really great rural stay away from the noise of the coast road!! Loved it!!

Väldigt vackert och mysigt boende. Fridfull plats då det var en lugnt miljö. Stor och ren privat pool perfekt för dagar man inte vill gå till stranden. Shehan var väldigt trevlig och hjälpsam och svarade snabbt om man hade några frågor. Skulle verkligen rekommendera och jag skulle utan tvekan kunna bo här igen.

Beautiful location and super helpful staff made it a really comfortable experience for us. Special shout to Mr Lakmal, who was proactive and always ready to help us with all our needs. Will highly recommend this place if you're looking for a couple of days away from the daily hustles.

Bardzo polecam to miejsce! Manju to świetny gospodarz, bardzo pomocny i elastyczny. Domek był duży, czysty, bardzo komfortowy i wyglądał lepiej niż na zdjęciach, a ogólnodostępny basen bardzo przyjemny (nawet po zmroku, bo ogród jest dobrze oświetlony). Domek jest na uboczu, więc jest cicho i spokojnie, można stąd obserwować wiele zwierząt. Na miejscu można zjeść także przepyszną kolację (ostrzegam, porcje są gigantyczne!).

It was a good stay. Chatura is pretty responsive and the room has a mosquito net and an A/C. Can recommend it.
