Beachfront holiday rentals in Southport

Perfect location. Parking space right out front of the cabin. Quiet street. Felt safe. Picnic table in the back of our cabin. Less than a minute walk to the beach. We were able to walk to the pier and didn't have to drive at all for the time we were there. We stayed in Cabin #6 and it was a perfect size for myself and sister in law. Jason let us keep our car parked at the cabin for a few hours after checkout so we could spend a little more time at the beach and not have to drive and find parking somewhere else. Would def. rent one of the cabins again.

Great peaceful spot. Beautiful area and pond. Saw a mink (sp) an owl and a bald eagle all down at the pond. Total treat. Coming back for sure! Thanks

We had an amazing time at the Aslan house with our dogs. It has a beautiful view of the lake and just a short walk to the beach. It is peaceful and quiet, super clean & cozy. The host was very friendly and we can’t wait to come back again. Thank you!!

micheles place was incredibly well stocked with helpful and cute amenities and convenience items! the view and accessibility to the beach is incredible. Michele was very welcoming and we appreciated all of the recommendations she provided. the guest house is quite small but met my and my husband's needs for a quick getaway. thank you for your hospitality!

it's a magical location and such a well appointed apartment. as someone who has hosted on airbnb, I really appreciated all the amenities they had. the hosts are so dope as well. you cannot go wrong with the place, the location, or the vibe.

Jennifer's place is so interesting, clean and tastefully decorated! We enjoyed our stay very much and definitely would return there, as many guests do. Be sure to check out the wonderful nearby Salt Water Cod Cafe and the many Maine-made things from Seaside Creations on the road to the Giant Steps on Bailey's Island. Also, the chocolate from Jennifer's candy store up the road is really good. Thank you Jennifer for making this experience possible!

We loved our stay! The space is beautiful and cozy. The walk to the family friendly beach was just the right distance for my 4yo. The neighborhood is adorable and friendly! With an amazing bakery and ice cream shop just around the corner! Dave was a great host and took great care of us.

Jason as a host was responsive to our questions, and offered dining and activity advice. When we arrived, the house was so welcoming, cute, and comfortable. We parked in front of the house, the minivan was too large for the garage. The house smelled fresh and was clean. There are ocean views and peeks in almost every window. The beach is a short walk away, the host provides beach towels, chairs and a wagon to tow it with. The neighborhood was quiet and at night we heard the ocean waves crashing on the beach. The rooms were prettily decorated and the beds were comfortable. We all slept really well. Knowing there was only one shower between the 5 of us, we coordinated our use of the bathroom. However, there is a toilet on the first level and being able to do laundry was indispensable. When we visit Maine again next year, I can totally see us booking this adorable beach cottage with Jason again.

Our stay at the beach house was great! You couldn't be closer to the water! So much fun kayaking, floating and swimming in the lake! House is much better than the pictures do it justice. For a 2 bedroom house its very big and spacious, beds were extremely comfortable. The no wifi was a little bit of a downer but there were plenty of board games to play. There is some street noise but not bad at all. Would most definitely recommend if you are looking for waterfront property. The access to the resort pool was a plus too for the kiddos!

A great spot tucked away!! House was cute and as shown in the pictures, is right on the water and has some great views! It rained the majority of the time we were there so didn’t get to take advantage of all the outdoor amenities, but would have if better weather! Host was very friendly, communicative and responsive!

We had a wonderful time! Going during off season was very peaceful and quiet will definitely book again in the future!

Stefano's home was absolutely fantastic. Perfect location for three couples. Close to everything and completely private and peaceful. It was lovely waking up to the sounds of the ocean each morning. Perfectly clean and tidy and had everything we could have needed. We can't wait to book again!

Julie’s place was very nice and very clean. The location was great, right across the street from the ocean. The kitchen was well-equipped and there was even a small basket of treats. Julie responded very quickly to any messages we sent. We would highly recommend this place.

This 1 BR stay was perfect from start to finish! Once we realized that we had to pick up keys and parking pass just up the street (no real biggie and quite close), we had a wonderful stay. The apartment was clean, inviting, well decorated, and had everything we needed. The bed was quite comfortable as well. We felt right at home in the apartment, and a walk to town took only a few minutes. I highly recommend not having a vehicle in Ogunquit for downtown dining and entertainment, as there really is no parking, so with this rental’s proximity to everything, you just can’t pass it up! Walk to beach too. When we next visit Ogunquit, we will definitely look to stay again!

Beautiful location on the water with stunning views, tranquil and peaceful with plenty of osprey and bald eagle sightings (there is a nest across the bay on Pettingill Island visible from the property). The house is very well-appointed and well-decorated. Irena was very communicative and responsive, and the house directions are clear and complete. We would stay there again. Thank you!

Beautiful cabin in Sherwood Forest Campsite. Check in and check out were really easy and the cabin itself was very clean. Kitchen is bare bones but had pretty much everything we needed. Even had some firewood for us!

Would definitely stay here again. Was really a first class space that made our family feel very relaxed.

What a wonderful spot! Gorgeous, quiet pond and relaxing wood fired sauna. Rheanna is a super responsive and helpful host. We'll be back! Just FYI - this cabin is a "three season" structure. Although it was super comfortable, it felt a little more like camping than we originally expected with some cool nights and mornings, a few insect frinds, and a short walk to the shared bathrooms and kitchen area.

We totally enjoyed our stay in Harpswell. We took several of the walks on the Land Trust list all very well sign posted off the side of the road. Don’t miss Giants steps. Lisa’s white folder had brochures that described all this. We also enjoyed popping in to the local potteries-of which there are many- the potters were very interested in talking about their craft. We liked Ash Cove especially. The house was very well situated for seeing all of the fun things around. We ate out in wonderful restaurants. We loved The Dolphin and the fabulous views from the windows and property. The Owls Nest is great too for relaxing in, we enjoyed the deck and the very comfortable living room. lots of nice amenities -nice washer and dryer, great shower. Just a great place to stay.

Serenity on the Cove is a comfortable and well-equipped apartment on the lower floor of the house. The setting is fabulous, with the windows facing down a slope to the water. Very quiet and well-kept setting. The location is a great base for exploring Bath, Brunswick, Wiscasset and the nearby peninsulas down to Harpswell, Georgetown, etc. David and his partner are gracious hosts and the communication was prompt and clear. 10/10 recommend.

Being at Carole's place was a total pleasure. If I could, I'd spend a lot of time living on a boat, and this was about as close as possible to that experience, only much more comfortable. I loved being able to see all that was going on in the bay - a lobster boat with a happy dog aboard, a kayak - but mostly birds, including a few visits from a couple of Bald Eagles. For anyone who enjoys nature and privacy, this place is heaven.

Our family enjoyed staying at The Tidewater Cottage. The home exceeded my expectations. The kids had plenty of space and privacy upstairs. Sitting in the living room with the beatiful views was very relaxing and a favorite part of my vacation. Our host, Kirsten, was very responsive and easy to communicate with. I'd go back in a heartbeat!
