Waterfront holiday rentals in Southside, Jacksonville

This was a beautiful location and we enjoyed walking in the area and visiting a riverfront park. The view was peaceful and there was an outside table and chairs by the water available. The TV offered every possible channel and we appreciated Spending a quiet evening at home after Being in the city all day. our hosts were friendly and welcoming. We would definitely want to stay again if we visit the area.

Great place to stay while visiting family in the area. Beautiful view of the river, walkable location to shopping and eating in the area. Only two things worth mentioning is there is no exhaust fan in the bathroom, and the ice maker on the fridge wasn't working, but there were 2 ice trays in the freezer. Other than that the place was clean, the AC worked great on the hot days, everything was well stocked. We hope this is available next time we come down.

We had a great stay at Natalia’s cozy property! She and her husband were so accommodating and welcoming to us. The property is absolutely gorgeous, the dock is beautiful and the pool was amazing. You can tell how dedicated Natalia is to the landscaping, it’s beautiful! The apartment itself is very comfortable and the perfect size. It was also very clean! We really enjoyed our evenings and mornings out on the dock. The pool was fantastic and was my favorite part of our stay. The location is also amazing- Caps on the Water and Aunt Kate’s restaurants were both in walking distance and had amazing food! The beach is a short walk down the road and easily accessible. Downtown St. Augustine is just a short 10ish minute drive, and we loved staying in this quiet neighborhood but still having easy access to the downtown. We would definitely stay here again and thank Natalia and Steve for their welcoming hospitality! Thank you!!!

Absolutely beautiful—just like the photos. Peaceful, quiet, and perfectly located with a lovely footpath to the beach. Clean, fresh, stylish, super comfortable, and high-quality throughout. The hosts are amazing. Hope it’s available next time I’m in Jacksonville!

Actually this was our first Airbnb. We typically stay at high end hotels. However, we thought we would give this a try since so close to where our daughter attends school. Stay was in a like new unit above garage. Host lives in home on property. Very friendly and responsive. Property is stunning with huge weeping willows. One concern was that unit was hot. Unit sits above the garage and has skylights that lets sun in. We turned a/c down a few times but it seemed to revert back to higher temps. Beds were too stiff and uncomfortable for us. Therefore, we had problems sleeping through the night both nights we stayed there. However, with hat said, we would definitely stay there again! The beauty of the property, location to our daughter, and great host makes it a must stay.

My partner and I had such a beautiful stay. Everything was so clean & it was such a peaceful and well decorated apartment. Beautifully organized and had everything we needed. We were so comfortable and at home here & will definitely stay here again in the future. It was in such a perfect location, very peaceful and quiet when we wanted to stay in & a short drive to any place we wanted/needed to go. Jacolby was so attentive and made sure to check in and make himself available should we need anything at all. Little treats upon our arrival made us feel so welcome and set us up for a great vacation.

This is the best Airbnb experience my family and I have ever had. We plan to rebook next year! It was a last minute accommodation and everything went smoothly. It is literally a hidden gem. I didn't even know there was a pond until I tapped the listing. the beds and blankets were so comfortable. altogether we caught 15 fish! we had an amazing vacation. thank you so much!

This home is a peaceful and scenic retreat, perfect for relaxation and reconnecting with nature. With stunning marsh views and plenty of space, my family felt completely at home. Though it’s about a 25-minute drive to downtown St. Augustine and the beaches, the tranquil surroundings make it well worth the trip—especially for those who love fishing, boating, or outdoor adventures. From paddleboarding and swinging on the swing to gathering around the fire pit and playing tag in the beautiful Florida weather, this place truly feels magical. Patricia is a wonderful host—always responsive and ensuring a comfortable stay. The cozy beds and well-equipped space exceeded our expectations, making it hard to say goodbye. We created unforgettable family memories here and can’t wait to return. Thank you, Patricia, for making our family reunion truly special!

A gem. The place was as listed and more. So clean and had everything you would need. Great location and quiet. Just a few minute walk to the beach. Hosts were really responsive and accommodating. Had a wonderful stay.

We had a great stay here and will definitely be returning soon! The beach area was not crowded at all and the sand is nice and soft and great for kids. Plenty of restaurants close by and house has everything you need!

Absolutely wonderful 12 day stay! Felecia’s place was as described. The home had everything we needed. We made use of the charcoal grill several evenings in the beautiful veranda. We even made use of the fishing poles with success! Just what we were looking for. Quiet, private, comfy beds, beautiful property, and pet friendly. 5 stars to Felecia and the Oasis Retreat! :)

We had a great time here. The view and beach are amazing. Just steps to the water and we saw dolphins every single day that we were there. Lots of pelicans flying by throughout the day as well! Definitely recommend staying here if you’re looking for an awesome beach. There are so many beautiful shells to be found on the beach! We also found a couple shark teeth, which was very exciting! The Reef, Aunt Kate’s, and Caps are all extremely close, with the Reef being within walking distance. Both decks are amazing and really help keep you cool and out of the sun. The house has a ton of beach toys, boogie boards, and chairs to use on the beach. Tons of lizards outside, which we thought was cool. We did see a few cockroaches in the house and had a run in with a Huntsman spider, but in no way did it impact our stay and it was to be expected. It is Florida after all! The house was very clean and we loved our stay here!

This is where Ozark meets On Golden Pond. A stunning outdoor lakefront oasis that literally makes you think your "home." What a special place. If it's available for your dates, book it! You won't regret it!

My husband and I truly enjoyed our stay at Michelle's condo. Perfect for two people. The bed was very comfortable. Kitchen had it all. Loved the tall outside chairs for viewing the ocean and pool below. Great having beach chairs that seemed brand new. Wish we could have seen the sunrise from the deck but the sun moves throughout the year so it wasn't in our viewing area. However, we enjoyed the short walk to the beach in the early morning to catch it. Great beach for fast walking. Go horseback riding in the morning it was so peaceful, there is two companies and they're both great! If we come back to Amelia Island we would definitely stay here again. Thanks Michelle!😊

The condo is beautiful and the ocean view makes it the perfect place for a beach vacation. The home was clean and very comfortable and the hosts were communicative with us! If I’m back in the area I would definitely stay here again. I recommend this condo to anyone looking!

We meet our best friends from Colorado in Florida every April for a weekend getaway. We absolutely loved staying at this condo at Jacksonville Beach! The view was spectacular! We had such a wonderful time at the beach—couldn’t have been more convenient. Staley was awesome—so helpful and full of great recommendations. We’ll definitely keep this one in mind for future trips!

We loved everything about this condo. It was clean, modern, and had everything we could need from coffee pods to beach chairs. The location is perfect just a walk over the dunes to the beach. The 4th floor balcony has amazing views. It also has a great pool that was never crowded. We would definitely stay here again!

Having a child with medical conditions we searched for a place close to the beach, the location was amazing and as close to the beach as you can get. It was clean and had all the amenities you would need. The hosts were responsive and helpful. We will definitely revisit this location when we return to Jacksonville.
