Cottage holiday rentals in St. John's

Very comfortable cottage that retains lots of the original character. Hot tub was appreciated for the cooler weather in the evening too. Really good communication before and during our stay. Location was good for access to many trails in the area.

We booked Julia & Dion's place for a workplace retreat. It was the perfect venue for our staff of 7! Our hosts were incredibly accommodating and responsive; I wouldn't hesitate to book this venue for any group function. The hot tub, fire pit, and pond were perfect! Looking forward to my next experience at the cottage!

This spot was great! Clean and cozy, in a great location with a little store across the street which was highly convenient. Comfy beds, loved the hot tub and was very happy to see that it’s covered incase of rain, and that there’s patio furniture! Would def come back

We have stayed at Eagles Nest multiple times now. Our kids love it, our friends visit us when we are there and they love it! It’s close to the beach and has everything we need. The hot tub is such a nice addition! Jeremy was very responsive and helpful. We will definitely be back!!

We really enjoyed our family of 4 get away at The Blue Bird. We loved the small hikes with spectacular views. One thing I’m always particular about is the hot tub and it was pristine. The kids and us parents loved basketball game and darts.

Our stay at Anne’s was great! We were a group of 6 people spanning 3 generations, ages 3 to 68, and this place met all our needs. Our kids loved the birds and chipmunks. My husband and I loved the access to the water and kayaks. My parents loved the view and hot tub. We were able to have family dinners and bbqs without any trouble. The surrounding nature was beautiful and was only a short drive to St. John’s or other historic towns (like Harbour Grace). Anne was very communicative and checked in proactively to make sure everything was alright. We are already planning our next stay. This remote cottage was perfect for us who were looking tor time to relax and connect, however the access to internet was handy for quick work check ins and a cosy evening watching a movie by the fire. Recommendations for any first time visitors to Newfoundland renting a vehicle - make sure to get one that is good for unpaved roads. Highly recommend this place.

Our stay was amazing and so so sooooo peaceful. Rene's Place is the perfect little spot for fantastic views, rest and relaxation. Robert and Marilyn have thought of everything you could possibly need and more! The added touches of homemade raisin buns and blueberry jam were delicious and so thoughtful ❤️ We wish we could have stayed longer!

We had a great stay! Everything we needed was available to us and it is a great location for visiting nearby towns. Definitely recommend!

This was our third visit to Jason’s place. It was perfect as always. Jason is a fabulous host. The sunset from the deck is worth checking out! We will definitely be back!

We loved our time at Brenda's Airbnb! It was nice to Holiday like a local for a few days. The lake was great and they have nice chairs to sit in on the dock and relax. We also took the kayaks out for a morning. The boat house is roomy and we had everything we needed. Having a pool table was fun. We couldn't have ask for kinder hosts. They checked in to see we were comfortable and to see if we needed any local tips and then they left us to enjoy their property. ...And we did😊

We had a great time in this lovely space, would recommend to anyone. spacious, perfectly tidy, lots of fun activities, and a beautiful view! can’t ask for more than that!

Sarah and David’s place is everything, its a hideen gem plus, the host are very accomodating and responsive. Kayaks are big bonus and the hughlight of our stay. Just pack your clothes and they have everything available in their place. Would love to book again some time. The best!

What a beautiful cottage with an amazing view! Everything was immaculate. We booked here at the last minute and Jerry was quick to respond and get us set up! He was also extremely helpful when we couldn't find the place (the pinned map location is incorrect, it would have been helpful to have the actual name of the cottages on this site (Shag Rock Cottages)). The fire pit, BBQ, mini golf and corn hole game are amazing touches to an already beautiful place, thanks again for everything, Jerry! We can't wait to return!

What a wondering place to stay! This truly was a one of a kind experience, and I really wish that I could’ve stayed longer. The house is in fantastic condition, extremely clean, and has tons of amenities. A short distance from stores, close distance to dildo, and the fact that it had a washer and dryer made every dollar worth it. Will definitely be returning!

Easy to find, great instructions and Dean was great host. We cannot say enough good things about our stay. Short walk to the Dildo Brewery and Museum. Fantastic views of the town and Dildo sign. The decor was perfectly rustic and beautiful at the same time, maintaining the boathouse feel. Every amenity you would need. And the deck......perfection. Whether its morning coffee or evening drinks, iI wish i could spend every day there. Thank you Dean!

Great place to stay, has everything you need. Only downside is that there is no service in that area but that is not in their control. The wifi was great though. Definitely recommend!
