Pet-friendly holiday rentals in State College

This property is a very special place. You can feel the peaceful and positive energy as soon as you walk through the door. Cliff has done everything to make his guests feel at home and his attention to detail in each room makes you feel cared for. I am very particular about the houses I rent (and I rent vacation homes fairly often) and this house surpassed my expectations. Of particular note is how incredibly clean and new everything is, and how well cared for the property is. The beds and pillows are extremely comfortable and there are plenty of extra blankets, pillows and towels. There is ample storage space for all your items and lots of extra shelving near the kitchen for pantry items. Also, the kitchen is stocked with plenty of extra dishes, wine glasses, mugs, etc. If you are lucky enough to spend time here, I promise you will not be disappointment. Thank you Cliff for a truly wonderful vacation.

My husband, father in law and I stayed here for Ford Nationals. It’s a beautiful home and very peaceful. One of my favorite places I’ve stayed at on Airbnb !

We had a very nice stay as we visited the area to celebrate Christmas with my family. The hosts had a robust welcome basket with a variety of goodies (which we didn’t get a chance to dig into unfortunately lol). The place was very clean and homey. It was perfect for my wife and I, and our pets.

This place was perfect for what we needed it for, rented so we could enjoy 3 nights of sprint car racing at port royal speedway which was only a 13 minute drive to the track. Would 100% rent again.

We came for just a short one night stay as it was on the route of our drive home. We arrived very late but getting into the home was very easy and it was incredibly cozy. We wished we had stayed longer than just one night but would definitely recommend it to anyone else!

Milagro’s place worked perfectly for our family. We were in State College for the PIAA golf championship, and the house was a convenient 10 minute drive to the PSU golf courses. Milagros was kind enough to let me check in a little early, which was very helpful. The house was clean and comfortable, with the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. Milagros was very responsive every time that I sent her a message, and I really appreciated that. The house was in a quiet neighborhood, but was close to restaurants and grocery stores. We would definitely book this home again if we are ever in the State College area. Thank you, Milagros, for a very comfortable stay!

Location, ambience inside and out, roominess, cleanliness, decor, and price are outstanding for this Blue Knob house. All 7 of us had plenty of space and the laundry, deck, parking, street quietness were all above and beyond. Modern appliances combined with the colors and pictures and furnishings to give that ski mountain getaway, yet elegant feel. Don't hesitate to check it out. Thanks!

clean quiet just what I.needed

Perfect country setting for our family whose members ranged from senior citizens to a three year old. The indoor pool and hot tub provided hours of entertainment. We enjoyed the ability to cook meals in the well stocked kitchen. The memories made in the beautiful setting will be lasting. We appreciated your flexibility and willingness to extend our departure time.

This was my fiance and I first air BNB stay ever and it was absolutely amazing. Holly our host was very helpful and everything was exactly how it was shown in the photos. 10stars for sure. Thank you so much Holly for your amazing hospitality. 😊 We will definitely be back to Pennsylvania!!!

This property was extremely clean, cozy, and comfortable. Nestled at the top of a mountain with incredible views along the ride up. The beds are comfortable, and all the attention to detail is just perfect. Definitely feels like a home away from home. Excellent stay!

This house was in a great neighborhood and perfect for our stay in State College! The beds were super comfortable. The kitchen was fully stocked and perfect for a family meal post graduation. We would definitely stay here again.

This place is cleaned with eco/people friendly products which is very important for my immune system. No febreezes, scented candles, chemical air fresheners, hormone disrupting laundry soap, and dish soap! They are ahead of the curve and care about you by providing such products! They provide essential cookware, lovely instant or fresh latte brewed daily or hot chocolate for your pleasure. The family is wholesome, active, full of life, and a nice balancer and healing to be by for us after experiencing turmoil in our life🙏truly a blessing 🙏 the place is beautiful, clean, stylish, comfortable, and you have a view of the mountains. Gratitude practice notebook inside if you do choose. I highly recommend 🙏

Highly recommend this adorable tiny home. It was exactly what we were looking for to celebrate our 3 year anniversary. The campground was perfect for walks, the hot tub was amazing and it wasn’t far from state collage. We would love to come back again.

This was the perfect size for two adults and two dogs. The shower pressure and temperature was perfect! FYI- There weren’t many Door Dash options but there were a ton of Uber Eats options. We were too exhausted after the nine hour drive to stop at a grocery store to cook at the house but if we did, the house had everything we would have needed. The front door doesn’t have a step or ramp (which is visible in the photos posted) so you will only use the back door. It was funny seeing the Uber Eats driver’s reaction when they came out the car with our food! There were no issues using the back door and there is a ramp going from the grass to the door so it’s wheelchair or stroller accessible. Some reviews mention a noise from the outside that bothered people, but we didn’t notice anything. We fell asleep easily and stayed asleep until our alarm woke us up- well woke my husband up. I slept for another fifteen minutes. The nature views from the bedroom windows was nice to wake up to.

If you are looking for a cozy and comfortable getaway, this is the place for you. It felt like a home away from home to us. This was our second stay at this house and would definitely stay here again and recommend to our friends. Zetta was very helpful and always available whenever we needed anything. The house is spotless and we'll appointed. Even our pup enjoyed her stay.

Logan and Larisa's Airbnb was exactly how they described it. It was conveniently located to the wedding we attend at Nick's Hideaway. It was extremely clean! We ate at The Bread of Life for breakfast and it was delicious. We would definitely stay there again if we were ever in town for an event. Great location just a short drive or walk to PSU. Plenty of room inside and out to find a spot to chill. Large kitchen and family room. We will be back.

Joseph is a great host; he offered excellent suggestions for local hikes, attractions, and restaurants. His place was spotless, and it was stocked with a nice selection of coffees and snacks. Mills Springs is a perfect location to explore the Central PA mountains; the Poe Valley Area is remote and beautiful; there is a scenic easy hike around Colyer Lake, which is only 15 minutes from the cabin. The location is ~20 minutes from State College and 25 minutes to a charming small town called Bellefonte. I highly recommend Joseph as a host and his cabin as a place to stay for a relaxing visit to the central PA mountains.
