Huize Stoutenburght B&B

Welcome to Huize Stoutenburght, a quiet part of the northern Netherlands at the foot of Olt Stoutenburght Castle in Blesdijke. Our modernized apartment has a private entrance with an outdoor space and offers you all the privacy of a private cottage, with the special bonus that the castle garden is your backyard. There is intentionally no TV — but there is plenty of tranquility, space, a castle garden, and the Weerribben and Thialf Heerenveen in the vicinity. Bedding, kitchen towels and towels are provided.

Wake up in peace, quiet and with unobstructed views all around you. Your cottage is new, comfortable and stylishly furnished, with modern comfort, air conditioning and a fully equipped kitchen. You sleep on the lovely Swiss Sense bed of 180x200. Your own terrace with unobstructed views of the cows and sheep is included. Blokzijl is 10 minutes by bike and the Weerribben in our "backyard". Giethoorn and Steenwijk are 20 minutes by car. Breakfast with local products can be booked for €12.50 pp per day.

'Ons Stulpje' is a complete, separate appartment with a comfortable kingsize boxspring bed, rain shower and complete kitchen. The jacuzzi can be booked separately (€30 per 2 h timeslot). The (shared) pool can be used in Summer. Chickens roam freely. It is situated in the quiet countryside town Blankenham, close to tourist attractions like Giethoorn, Blokzijl, Steenwijk and National Park Weerribben-Wieden and Pantropica, Urk, and UNESCO Schokland. Breakfast can be added for €15 p.p. per day.

The Nutcracker: cozy farmhouse front house

On one of the most beautiful rural roads just outside the village of Sint Jansklooster is the renovated humpback farm from 1667. We have furnished the front house of the farm as an attractive accommodation for 2 guests who are fond of peace and privacy. The comfortably furnished front house has its own entrance. You have access to 2 canoes and a men's and women's bicycle. The many cycling, hiking and canoeing routes allow you to experience the Weerribben-Wieden National Park in all seasons.

The farm (two under one roof) was built in 1900. The front house has retained many authentic details. The front house with a sitting room offers you peace and space in a rural area. We live in the back house. Ideal for cyclists and hikers. Only 3 km from Steenwijk city center and 3.9 km from the NS station. Close to Giethoorn, the Weerribben and Hunebedden in the Holtingerveld nature reserve. The Colony of Frederiksoord, listed on UNESCO world heritage, is only 6.5 km away.

In a unique place in Friesland is our farmhouse with a cozy studio to relax and unwind. The studio has everything you need to make yourself comfortable, but if you want to go out, the area has plenty to offer. Through a private entrance you enter the studio. A nice bathroom with luxury rain shower, a fully equipped kitchen and terrace are available. In the garden, there is a wood-fired sauna with shower, the sauna can be used in consultation (for a small fee).

The cozy Meppel is located between the villages of Havelte, Giethoorn and Staphorst. The guest house is located on our spacious yard and offers you complete privacy. The living space is fully at your disposal.

This cozy vacation space with its own entrance is located in a renovated stable where the hayloft once was. There are two single beds (next to each other), a table with chairs, and a recliner with a footstool. You will use the shower, toilet, and kitchenette (NO cooking allowed!) just outside the vacation accommodation. Towels/kitchen towels/bedding/kettle/coffee maker/dishwasher/WIFI/games are provided.
