Welcome to Villa Maria, our fairy tale guest house in a calm location next to the forest and with a vast garden in the village Lauterbourg in Northern Alsace, France. It's just 5 min by foot to the heart of the village with a couple of bakeries, restaurants, a grocery store and small shops, or 10 min to the beach & lake. It's only 2 min by car from Germany, and a perfect location for exploring the Rhine border region Karlsruhe-Strasbourg, or for a rest on the way when travelling across Europe.

I would be happy to welcome you to my stylish and bright apartment on the 2nd floor, which I have put a lot of heart and soul into. There are 2 separate bedrooms, each with a large bed, plus a sofa bed in the living room, 1 large bathroom with shower and bathtub, as well as a dining and working area. Please note: no kitchen. Kitchen is currently under construction. Coffee + tea is free. Fridge, microwave, coffee and kettle available. 2 baby travel cribs including bed linens are provided.

Your flat in our half-timbered house is the ideal starting point for excursions to the Black Forest, Kraichgau or to Karlsruhe and Stuttgart. Our farmhouse is located north of the "Black Forest Nature Park". Nature invites you to cycle, hike and discover: orchards, forests, meadow valleys and high moors, gorges, streams & lakes! And vineyards. But you can also relax in our garden and enjoy local wine or craft beer. We have 2 dogs and 1 cat, turtles and sheep (not always on premise).

You can arrive at any time from 16:00 until 3:00 in the morning using a code lock. Ideal for tourists, spa guests, business people, holidaymakers, etc.
