By the beach self contained, one bedroom unit

Kick back and relish the surrounds of where the ocean meets the rain forest. Fully self contained unit situated a short drive from Mossman, the Daintree and Port Douglas. From the property it is a short 2 minute walk (down the driveway) to the beach. Our driveway is steep and can be slippery as times - please take caution. Unfortunately since Cyclone Jasper, beach access is limited across the road.

We loved our stay at Melissa’s. It is a modern and very pretty house. It is immaculately presented and extremely comfortable. The bed is very comfortable and the pillows were wonderful. Melissa has tried to think of everything. I have multiple back fractures and found the sofa extremely comfortable. We really enjoyed the surrounds and the beach just across the road.

The view from the verandah is just beautiful - the perfect place to relax & really unwind. Karen was a wonderful, attentive host, making sure we had all we needed. Such a lovely space to stay. Very peaceful and felt very isolated from the main house. Beautiful view over their gardens and trees. Super clean and everything you might need. Loved their little dog Jessie who would pop over to visit. We were also lucky enough to receive some fresh eggs from their hens which were delicious. Really enjoyable space to relax and BBQ in the evening. Close drive to Port Douglas, but lovely being away in the country. Would 100% recommend to stay.

Wow. What a magical experience to be able to have to opportunity to stay at such a beautiful location. My Partner and myself have always wanted to buy property in this area and staying here has really amplified that dream. Everything about this property is amazing and I would not change a thing 🙌 🙏. The complimenty beer and wine was great, the house was amazing, the best views I've experienced at an air bnb, the customer service was friendly and welcoming. Everything was neat and tidy, the house was spotless and so clean, The serenity was on point everything was perfect. To whom reads this trust me this place will not disappoint and will exceed expectations. Thank you Jason and Chika for providing us this experience and being such amazing hosts.
