Cabin holiday rentals in Stor-Elvdal

An attentive host and very quick to respond. Very comfortable house for groups of up to 10 people (not suitable if couples want intimacy, there is only one double bedroom). Quiet place with good views. In winter there is a responsible consumption of the water if you do not want to have problems. We were a group of 10 ice climbers and had no problem. When we return to the Lillehammer area we will stay at Vinh's place again

We had a wonderful stay at Henriette's home. The friendly communication with Henriette was particularly nice. She even made us aware of the upcoming northern lights ☺️as the cabin is used privately, you are looking for some storage space at first, but then everything fits. Thank you!

A super cabin, with a good sauna and jaccuzi and a kitchen with which you can do everything, wonderful beds which I personally find very important and an excellent shower, here I want to come back again, highly recommended to stay in this beautiful cabin and you can take nice skiing and beautiful walks in the area. Thank you Eva for this beautiful experience to stay in your cabin 👍🏻

Very bright, friendly house. Beautiful views of the valley. Good for the lift with ski, also to the trails. Well equipped, there could be more closets for clothes. Highly recommended

We had an amazing stay at Kvitfjell and Peter’s lodge made it very special. The hot tub overlooking the slopes and being able to ski in and out of the lodge was a great touch. Peter and his team were very helpful and always responsive. Access was really easy with a coded door entry and it was a great place to stay with 6 adults an infant and a 10 month old. Will hopefully be back again.

Lovely, comfortable stay at Silje’s superb cabin at Hafjell. Kitchen is modern and extremely effective with loads of storage space and the largest fridge I have ever seen…!! Modern, luxurious space great for two families and plenty of communal area including younger guests upstairs sitting room. Wonderful views from smart sauna and well-placed, utterly brilliant and spacious jacuzzi a highlight. We chose short drive down to ski centre with our children, though options here and XC tracks directly outside the cabin. Would gladly return!

We had a lovely ski holiday in Espen's cottage - for two families (4 adults, 5 children) the room layout is perfect. There is everything you need, even in the kitchen we didn't miss anything. We really enjoyed the view and the fireplace. The connection to alpine skiing and cross-country skiing was also great for us. A supermarket is a few minutes' walk away, which is very convenient. Espen is a very nice host and very easy to reach. He greeted us personally in the evening and explained everything important to us.

Really nice cabin with really good amenities. Very nice, smooth and friendly communication with Sturle. We were two adults and two big kids, and we'd love to come back. We enjoyed both the cabin and the area.

Staying at Jan's cottage felt like being invited to stay by a friend who trusts you to look after their belongings. It's very comfortable, spacious and well-equipped. The cottage is right out in the countryside, which is wonderful - peace and quiet, lovely views, and we saw a mountain hare very close by. You definitely need a car, or to be a good skier in winter! We had very unusual freeze/thaw conditions and our hired car was inadequate for driving up and down the small road. Jan was really helpful, making sure the road was snow-ploughed, and responding very quickly to queries. We had a great time.

We had a very nice time at Olahytta. Jakob was nice, gave good descriptions and responded quickly. The cabin is great, even nicer than what the pictures show. It was clean and tidy, freshly made beds, towels for all guests and firewood was ready in the fireplace. Highly recommended!

It's a great place for a long stay. Good and quiet location. The house is cozy and has everything you need. It's a must for a next visit.

It's a charming and well-equipped cabin with beautiful views over the valley. We stayed for a week to go skiing in Hafjell 10 minutes away and we enjoyed having it more peaceful and private compared to staying near the slopes. We especially enjoyed the new kitchen and the panoramic windows from the living room. We met Kjetil and his friends who were very helpful when we arrived late and had troubles with our car. We would love to come back during summer time as well as it seems like the area has a lot to offer all year around.

We had a wonderful stay at this mountain cabin, traveling as two families with children plus an extra couple. The cabin was spacious and comfortable for all of us, with plenty of room to relax and enjoy each other's company. We especially loved spending time on the terrace, grilling meals and soaking up the fresh mountain air. The weather was perfect for exploring the many hiking trails nearby, and we took full advantage of the beautiful surroundings. While the cabin could use a small update, we know that upgrades are already planned for summer 2025, so we’re looking forward to seeing the improvements next time. Communication with Thomas was excellent—he provided lots of helpful information and responded very quickly to all our questions. We had a truly enjoyable reunion here, and we’ll definitely check availability again next time we’re looking for accommodation around Hafjell!

We had a really good stay and were very happy with the accommodation. It matched our needs and lived up to expectations. There's a great view, light ski in/out, and plenty of room for a larger family/group. Communication with Laila was really good and very informative.😊

Me and my family borrowed the cabin when we were at Hunderfossen family park. A great cabin with plenty of space, good facilities, clean and tidy. Easy to find, in a quiet area, a nice place to take your family for a small holiday.

Our hosts Mari and Christian were excellent! They provided very rapid responses and always available to help out. We went there with two families with 4 kids between the ages of 1 and 12 and the house had everything, from toys for the little one to a relax room for the bigger boys. The many winter activities in the Hafjell area and the wonderful loipen for langlaufen or just sitting on the sofa and taking in the beautiful surroundings, makes it a perfect stay for a winter holiday!

Had a wonderful week. Apartment like a home from home. Will definitely be booking again.
