The accommodation is maximized for 2 adults, but there is also room for 2 small children. Kitchenette equipped with hob, fridge, microwave, kettle, coffee maker. TV and Wifi. Towels and bed linen are included. You will also have access to the laundry room located in the main building. We will charge a cleaning fee of SEK 200 for bed linen, etc. However, we expect you to do a fine cleaning before you check out.

It is a perfect starting point for excursions in Dalarna, and in winter, Romme Alpin is 13 minutes away. If you like cross-country skiing, Gyllbergen offers low-mountain-like nature. Around the home, you can take a walk/run in Smäcken or Frostbrunnsdalen, explore the springs, take a ride on the river, or a swim, or visit the ostriches a bike ride away. Electric car charging is available.

Swim, fish, or take the boat out on the lake. The surrounding forest is great for hiking, biking, and picking berries or mushrooms. In winter, Romme Alpin offers 31 slopes and 13 lifts for all levels. When the lake freezes, it’s perfect for skating, skiing, or long walks. For cross-country skiing, visit scenic trails of Gyllbergen.

I detta nyrenoverade hus anno 1700-talet hittar ni en varm och mysig atmosfär med vackra nejder i Byn Hovgården. Gångavstånd till bad, sjöar och slingriga stigar som väntar på att bli utforskade. Med bil når ni Romme Alpin eller Borlänge Centrum på 12 minuter. Även många andra vackra sevärdheter och naturreservat finns i närheten som till ex. Gyllbergen, Turistvägen Silverringen. Möjlighet att hyra cyklar, kanot, kayak och vedeldad bastu finns. Och vi delar gärna våra favorit platser med er:)

Hemtrevligt gårdshus nära skidspår och Romme Alpin

Vi har renoverat vårt gårdshus med kunskap om byggnadsvård, miljö och hållbarhet. Äggoljetemperans vackra kulörer pryder väggarna och äkta linoljefärg är en självklarhet i ett hus från sent 1800-tal. Fina kakelugnar värmer skönt och köket är stort och rymligt Vintertid finns fina förutsättningar för skidåkning för längd och utförsåkning vid Romme alpin. En c:a 8 km lång skridskobana plogas på vår sjö med anslutning c:a 100 meter från gården. Huset är beläget nära städerna Falun och Borlänge.

Own small cozy house in Borlänge

A small amazing cozy house that is well planned with kitchen, bathroom and loft where the bed is located. Proximity to all Borlänge/Falun/Dalarna has to offer, with slalom in Romme Alpin in the winter, the natural paradise Gyllbergen winter/summer and falu mine etc. NOTE: Bed linen and towels are included, but you will have to make the bed before departure. The cottage needs to be cleaned before departure. You are welcome to ask questions and we are happy to help with tips for your stay!

Cozy guest house with sauna

Welcome to the historic area of Bergslagsbyn, centrally located in Borlänge. The house has an equipped kitchen, comfortable sofa bed and dining area, a bedroom and sauna for pleasant moments after a day outdoors. It is 2 km to both the dome and Borlänge city center. Romme alpine can be reached in 20 minutes. The accommodation works for up to four people when using the sofa bed. We, as hosts, live on the farm in the larger residential house and are close at hand if you need anything.

Accommodation 8 min drive from to Romme alpine and Borlänge center. Nice cross-country trails in reasonable distance. The house consists of 8 rooms and a kitchen and has a living area of 254 sqm. Dining room for larger groups, tiled stove and a fireplace upstairs. Here you live on a quiet road and free parking in the yard. The super nice and child-friendly cats Gibson and Rut are included in the house as well as chickens 🥚 No smoking indoors but okay in the yard.

Pastoral Places near Romme Alpin

Welcome to the village of Trönö and our farm! The old cottage that we rent out is from the turn of the century and is carefully renovated into a period cabin with a high cozy factor. Here you live in the countryside in a peaceful environment but at the same time only 10 minutes from central Borlänge and 15 minutes from Romme Alpin. Nice areas for cross-country skiing can be found in Bergebo or Gyllbergen, one and two miles away respectively.
