Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Strand

Place was fantastic and big, for a group of 6 it was nice. Arvid ensured everything was in place and as mentioned, he also kept some sweets and local delicacy which was very nice of him. Overall recommend this to any one who wants to stay in Stavanger hiking or visiting city with family or friends. Fantastic place.

Die Unterkunft war noch schöner als auf den Bildern und wir wurden herzlich Willkommen geheissen. Odd Bjarne ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend, wir haben uns sehr gut verstanden und haben viele Tipps für Aktivitäten und Wanderungen bekommen. Der Kontakt war unkompliziert und er hat schnell geantwortet wenn wir fragen hatten. Es war ein wunderschöner und erholsamer Urlaub. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Nydelig plass og eit fantastisk koselig hus. Silje er ein veldig hyggelig husvert og svarer kjapt på mld. Eit imponerande gartneri rett i nærheten. Anbefaler denne plassen på det varmeste.

Flott og moderne innredet enebolig i etablert boligområde. Bodde der i 3 netter og følte oss som hjemme. Ekstra hyggelig med katten som bodde der. Anbefales!

Everything was just perfect the views were spectacular. The place is well equipped and clean. You can feel like at home. The roof terasse is the best. The neighbourhood is quiet but still close to the trekking trafiła and shops

The second we walked into Katrin’s place, we felt relaxed and happy. The view was just so beautiful! Katrin’s place was spotless clean (one of the cleanest Airbnb apartments we have been to), and it is obvious that she spent a lot of effort even on the small details to make us feel comfortable and at home. We had a really great time and would highly recommend.

Alt var bare helt tipp topp! 🤩Kjempe fint hus, det var skinnende rent, sengene var redd opp, man hadde alt man trengte i huset. Ungene på 3 og 4 elsket lekene som stod fremme og lekeapparatene ute. Endre var veldig hyggelig og svarte alltid raskt☺️ Kommer mer enn gjerne tilbake hit! Anbefales virkelig🤩

Wir hatte einen angenehmen Aufenthalt. Alles war sehr sauber und die Küche war gut ausgestattet.

We really enjoyed our stay at this clean and well-maintained Airbnb. The apartment is well-equipped and had everything we needed. The view of the water is lovely, and the area is very peaceful – perfect for relaxing. It’s also a great base for visiting Preikestolen, which is just a short drive away. Having a parking spot right by the house was very convenient. Overall, a comfortable and quiet place in a beautiful setting – we’d definitely stay here again.

You’ll rarely find a place as quiet, peaceful, and beautiful as Mari’s. Highly recommended to stay at least two nights or arrive early to enjoy it even more. Thank you!

Maja's house has the best views which completely blew our mind upon arrival. In addition, the rental unit is very clean and spacious, and the access to a private outdoor space is such a luxury for us. Maja and her family are sweet and resposive, we would love to stay there again next time.

We had a wonderful stay! The place was spotless and had everything we could possibly need — from a well-equipped kitchen to cozy spaces throughout. There’s even a movie theatre, which we, unfortunately, didn’t have time to enjoy, but my kids were so excited just seeing it! The home is beautifully maintained with a charming backyard that adds a lovely touch of nature and peace!

Piccolo appartamento, ma dotato di tutto il necessario. Petter è stato molto disponibile e chiaro nel fornirci tutte le informazioni utili. Perfetto punto d’appoggio per raggiungere il Preikestolen. Menzione d’onore per la macchinetta del caffè: la colazione con il caffè espresso ci ha fatto sentire come a casa!

Beate Maries Wohnung war für uns genau das Richtige. Gut ausgestattet, liebevoll eingerichtet, mit Babybett und Hochstuhl. Besonders über das vorhandene Spielzeug hat sich unser Sohn sehr gefreut und auch, dass er die Hühner anschauen durfte. Die Kommunikation war immer schnell und freundlich. Wir würden jederzeit wieder kommen!

Eine traumhafte Unterkunft mit traumhafter Aussicht, sehr bequeme Betten, alles sehr sauber und gleich ein Ambiente zum zu Hause fühlen🥰, Tove und Mohammad haben uns sehr herzlich empfangen und immer Hilfe angeboten. Die Empfehlungen für Unternehmungen waren sehr hilfreich! Sollten wir Norwegen nochmal besuchen, kommen wir gerne wieder!!! Wir bedanken uns für die schöne Zeit👍🏻🤩🤗❤️

Very nice location, amazing surroundings as you can reach the amazing Lysefjord very easily. The accomodation is comfy and large, it has everything you will need for a comfortable and like-home stay. Great also to have the lovely garden in front and the view of the fjord. Recommended!

One of the best places in Norway to stay. The flat is really new and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. I definitely recommend this place!

Johannes is the best host you could possibly wish for: proactive in providing information about the apartment and hiking tips for the area. He advised us of shops closed due to a public holiday (we would have completely forgotten) and of a road closure due to a bike race. Very responsive to our messages regarding hihking in the area. Johannes knows the area extremely well and gave us tips that we had not found anywhere in the guide books, maps or on komoot. We very much liked the apartment: it is exactly as shown in the photos: large windows, in addition many lamps for the evening or overcast days. Great views across the bay. Close to Preikestolen and many other great hikes in the area. Our only regret was not having booked enough days to explore more of the area. We highly recommend the apartment and would certainly love to visit again. Thank you very much, Johannes, for your kind hospitality!!

Wir empfehlen die Unterkunft von Vilde uneingeschränkt weiter. Es ist alles vorhanden was man braucht, der Blick vom Balkon ist super schön, unser Hund hat sich sehr gefreut im kleinen Garten zu liegen. Die Einrichtung ist sehr geschmackvoll, wir haben uns sofort sehr wohl gefühlt.

Für Wanderer und Leute mit empfindlichen Schlaf sehr empfehlenswert! Die Betten sind eher hart, die Schlafzimmer gut abdunkelbar und es ist ruhig. Die Lage ist großartig sowohl zum Anfahren diverser Wanderwege als auch die Aussicht von der Terrasse. Die beiden bauen sich da gerade ein tolles Schmuckstück auf! Küche und Bad sind ordentlich ausgerüstet. Der Kater, der bei den beiden lebt, ist ein Schmuseschatz und der Hund eine ganz liebe. Maren und Martin sind freundlich und offen aber nicht aufdringlich. Der Kontakt mit ihnen war sehr angenehm. Wir kommen definitiv wieder.

I had a wonderful time in these apartments! Rating 11/10 👌. The neighborhood is very cozy and calm, yet conveniently close to many attractions. The house itself is clean and comfortable, with everything needed for a pleasant stay. The host was incredibly friendly and positive, providing lots of useful information about local sights 🖤. It was a fantastic time, and I was very satisfied with my stay. I recommend it to everyone! 👌

Sehr schöne Unterkunft mit großem Garten, eigenen kleinen Bereich und Steg direkt am Wasser mit Blick auf die Fjordmündung und den kleinen Hafen direkt im Dorf. Stavanger ist in ~40 Minuten erreichbar und die nächste kleine Stadt Jorpesland ist etwa 20 Minuten entfernt. Im Dorf gibt es aber 2 kleine Supermärkte. Die Natur ist unglaublich schön und es gibt viele Wanderwege wie den Preikestolen, Sollifjell, Uburen in 30 Minuten Reichweite. Auch die Bootstour direkt in Forsand ist sehr zu empfehlen. Torhild war super nett und zuvorkommend. Sie hat uns viele Empfehlung für Aktivitäten, Einkaufen, Restaurants und vieles Mehr gegeben. Wir konnten uns rund um die Uhr vor Ort oder auch per App bei ihr melden. Insgesamt ist die Unterkunft sehr schön gewesen, die Umgebung voller eindrucksvoller Natur und an Aktivitäten / Ruhe mangelt es nicht. Der Aufenthalt von einer Woche war perfekt für uns. Wir würden rückblickend nichts anders machen! Vielen Dank :-)
