The area is abundant in scenic hiking trails and must-see spots such as Thor’s Well (2.6 mi), Cape Perpetua (2.9 mi), and the iconic Heceta Head Lighthouse (8.5 mi). Earthworks Art House is a newly remodeled two bedroom guest house connected with Earthworks Gallery. It is located adjacent to the gallery in a private forested setting. It borders Gerderman rhododendron preserve and is located on an extensive trail system that leads to the ocean, the forest or the center of Yachts a short distance away. We feature an extensive collection of revolving original art from the gallery. This totally new house offers plush and cozy accommodation.

We are located 2 miles from the entrance to the Mary's Peak recreation area, the highest spot in the coast range. During winter, there is usually access to snow, only a 15 minute drive from our cabin to the top of Mary's Peak. Alsea Falls is a 25 minute drive. The coastal town of Waldport is a 45 minute drive, Oregon State University is a 20 minute drive away, and University of Oregon is 1 hour south of us. Cabin is on our private property where we live as well.

Watch the waves roll in, the sun set, the birds fly by, and occasionally whales and sea lions from our comfy home. Hunt for agates on the smelt sand beach and explore the tide pools just in front of the house, walk down the nearby 804 trail to an 8-mile sandy beach, or head to nearby Cape Perpetual for a hike.

The Blue Pearl is calling. 1946 coastal cottage nestled just above basalt rocks offers you a relaxing place to take in the sites and sounds of the crashing waves. Located next to the 804 walking coastal trail and also the Amanda trail leading to the Amanda Grotto and Cape Pepetua. Cottage is located on the south end of Yachats and a short distance to sandy the sandy beach at Yachats Bay.
