Family-friendly holiday rentals in Suchitepéquez Department

This is by far the best Airbnb I have ever stayed at. I’ve traveled to a lot of Airbnb’s in many different countries and none compare to this. Finding this place is surely an adventure but once you are there, you don’t want to leave! I can’t say enough good things about the chefs that will cook you every meal. We had them do all the shopping for our meals along with other items we wanted such as water and beer. The housekeeper services that help coordinate private boat rides to other villages, keeping the place clean, or even small things such as turning on the hot tub while we are away are truly incredible perks of this place. The property and views are just amazing and I can’t wait to come back here for my next stay!

Excelente airbnb en Cerro de Oro Atitlan, muy accesible y excelente servicio por los host y el guarda casa. Muy bueno para una familia grande

Las instalaciones están en perfecto estado, la limpieza impecable, el staff que nos atendió fueron muy cordiales, la vista espectacular, en pocas palabras un lugar maravilloso para poder descansar y pasar un lindo fin de semana en familia, gracias Silvia por todo, eres genial como anfitriona y por supuesto que regresamos.

Todo bien con nuestra estancia y buena comunicación con la Host. Algo que no tiene que ver con el alojamiento pero que considero importante mencionar, es que mucha gente local llega a lavar ropa y bañarse con jabón, todo el día, en la parte del lago que da al alojamiento. El agua está muy sucia y no se puede nadar en esa parte del lago (triste la contaminación). A tomar en cuenta si lo que quieren es disfrutar nadando en el lago.

Where do we begin? Juan Carlos' home in Cerro de Oro is magical. It's situated in a bay right on Lake Atitlan with incredible views every single day. It might honestly be the nicest place we've ever stayed in - all around exceptional. The house is two stories, living room & kitchen upstairs & beds downstairs. The grounds are spectacular - this family really thought of everything. They have a 2-person kayak which we took out every morning as well as a couple of paddle boards. There are 2 hammocks under the trees which we definitely relaxed in and then there's the hot tub. Oh, the hot tub. Words cannot describe the magic of this tub. It takes 2-3 hours to heat up so make sure to tell Tiburcio ahead of time and he'll get it all ready to go. We also spent the extra money and had Marina cook us all of our meals (for approx $10/day - it's coffee money) which helped us completely relax. The staff team were all wonderful and treated us like royalty including dogs Rocco & Negra!

Un lugar increíble La casa es hermosa, muy cómoda y con vistas espectaculares al lago. La atención fue excelente, todo superó nuestras expectativas. ¡100% recomendada!

Casita pitaya es un lugar muy bonito, ubicado a unos cuantos pasos de la playa del lago, (llegar es fácil solo pongan IMAP en el mapa) la casa está justo a la par, hay una tienda de conveniencia cerca de la casa los señores que venden justo enfrente de la casa son de las personas más radiantes y amables que e conocido, al igual El buen Hernán, el caserío pachitulul es un lugar mágico como sus cercanías cerro de oro (dónde está la 🚪 ixbalam) lugar que inspiro al autor del libro el principito, la anfitriona IxChel, fue extremadamente atenta, la propiedad tiene múltiples árboles frutales (asta me permitieron tomar unos cuantos 🍋 hice una deliciosa limonada wow) pararse en la puerta de la cocina y contemplar la vista, vale toda la pena !!! baño, toalla, camas, todo impecable y limpio, ES IMPORTANTE ENTENDER QUE LA CASITA PITAYA es un lugar para alejarse de la civilización, no es un lugar como San Pedro, San Juan, San Marcos, es un lugar de paz dónde se puede tener conexión.

C’était génial. La vue était magnifique et le balcon est génial. Le seul point à prendre en considération est le fait que le logement est à 35 min à pied du centre de San Pedro ou 10 min en tuk tuk!

Great place very peaceful and secluded if you’re looking to disconnect. Beautiful surroundings with games and watercraft’s for our entertainment! Don Manuel was very helpful and everyone in town was very friendly and helpful also. We had a great stay and great time. Just be ready for very steep terrain 4x4 recommended for peace of mind, but doable in a 2 wheel drive

Marcos went above and beyond to welcome us and to make sure we were comfortable! The airbnb is really stunning - beautiful views from the rooms and decks. It is about 20-30 min walk to town or a 10 min tuk tuk ride as described - we appreciated the calmer vibe. Despite being outside of town it’s close to a couple grocery stores, a nice restaurant and a coffee shop we loved. We did encounter a few types of bugs/spiders but Marcos supplied us with sprays to deal with them. One thing to note is that the bedrooms don’t have window shades so you rise with you the sun… which was nice in its own way ;) Felt very much at home and appreciate all Marcos did to enhance our stay!

Muy bonito el lugar, las fotos no le hacen justicia… pasamos un buen momento como familia, el servicio estuvo bueno, las instalaciones bien cuidadas, limpias, tranquilas y disfrutas de la naturaleza… Pd. vale la pena pagar por la climatización de la piscina

Esta es la segunda vez que me hospedo y me gusta mucho, el jardín súper grande todo colorido , el clima y sobre todo la amabilidad de el anfitrión como el de el guardián Don Manuel que siempre estuvieron atentos, me volvería a hospedar sin pensarlo . Queda cerca tiendas , tortillería y el pan . Y sobre todo cerca de los parques 💕.
