Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Suchitepéquez Department

This Airbnb is beautiful, 3 minute walk to the lake! Locating it was bit complicated, I would honestly recommend paying a tuk tuk to direct you to the house since Apple Maps and Waze lost us. Thankfully Dana was incredibly helpful in finding us and taking us to the Airbnb! Other than that everything was perfect!!!!! 10/10

The stay at Qatzig house was amazing. We stayed with my partner, some friends and I and the truth is that we all left very happy, it was like being at home. The rooms are great and the common spaces are very clean and cared for. Andres is also a lovely person and the volunteers who work there too. They helped us with everything we need, recommendations, and even get cheap and safe transportation back and forth. Definitely a place where we will repeat and highly recommend. PS: Our preferred host was their dog. Thanks so much Andres!

Vanessa was responsive to our messages, and the staff quickly brought what was missing (salt, pepper, matches…). The location was a bit difficult to find at first, but Vanessa guided us through it and even sent staff to meet us. The apartment is a bit of a walk to the centre of the city (where there’s most restaurants, and the dock for daily boats), about 15-20min. You can also take a tuk-tuk (5min), for 10Q/person. The place is cozy, the bedroom and bathroom is downstairs, then you have to go up a set of stairs outside to access the kitchen/patio. The view is nice up there. It is secluded, it didn’t feel like the safest part of the town, but overall we still had a good experience. It can get noisy sometimes (dogs barking a lot), but that’s not the host’s fault. Thank you for having us!

Our stay was incredible. I took my entire family Of 16+…. The views are breathtaking, with so many fun activities without even leaving the house. The hospitality was also a great bonus! Pedro, the house guardian is very attentive. Highly recommend booking Juliana for your breakfast needs, she was also great! 😊 Carlos, is great as far as communication goes, very patient and friendly. We all gave this place a 10/10 We’ll definitely be back soon! Ps…there are some massive stairs down to the pool/ lake. The walk down is easy but the walk up is some work! Be ready for some good cardio

I really enjoyed the home. My family was able to relax and we all had a good time. The personnel was very responsive to two additional things I had questions about. I would definitely choose this house to stay again if I have the opportunity to visit the area. Really peaceful!!!! Checking out did not feel rushed either.

Carlos was outstanding. Very attentive, easy to communicate. His place well recommend for wheelchair access. My mom loved the place. The kitchen has all of the necessities. I would love to come back soon. He is a super host.

We were delighted with our stay, from the moment we arrived we felt at home, it was cogedora and was very well equipped, the communication was fluid and easy, the perfect base to tour San Pedro the lagoon On my next trip I would like to stay there again, my family is very happy I share something that I make it easy for me to check in, it's to look for the stadium of san pedro.

Tres Tortugas is an incredible property, astoundingly beautiful, and worth the challenge of getting there on the unpaved road leading to the house. Alex helped us get a driver to bring us there and we are happy we didn't drive there ourselves. We were coming from Antigua and did our supermarket shopping there so we didn't drive off the property at all until we the end of our stay. Staff lives on the property and helped us bring our luggage in when we arrived. The pictures don't fully capture its beauty. The views are spectacular, the property grounds lush and really well-maintained, with lake access down quite a few stairs directly to Lake Atitlan and a private dock. Alex helped us arrange private boats to ferry us for day trips to other towns along the lake. All in all a truly special experience.
