Since December 4, 2023, we have been the proud owners of our vacation home at Beach Resort in Makkum. The house can accommodate up to 6 people, and is very complete. The house is nicely centrally located on a quiet park. With a sunny terrace and views over the nature reserve and the water. You can fish from the jetty! Within a few minutes' walk, you are on the beach and the cozy boulevard with catering facilities. Beach Resort Makkum is a holiday at a beautiful resort on the IJsselmeer!

Hindeloopen on the IJsselmeer

An awesome environment for water sports, cycling, walking and other activities. The house with a large garden is situated at a unique spot at the IJsselmeer, overlooking not only the harbour but also a bird sanctuary. The little town is only a 10 minutes walk away. BBQ, fireplace that holds a pizza oven.. All is on the ground floor, without thresholds. The kitchen is fully equipped: dishwasher, combination steam-oven, ceramic cooking plate and other kitchen tools. No pets are allowed.

Aldehoeve is a characteristic Frisian farm from 1860, just 5-minute walk from the old city center of Workum. Three apartments have been built in the farm: Ien, Twa and Trije. Trije offers space for up to 4 people. On the ground floor you'll find the cozy living room with open kitchen and bathroom with toilet. On the 1st floor (accessible via stairs) there are 2 bedrooms. The rear bedroom has no windows. Both the downstairs area and the upstairs bedrooms have their own air conditioning.

The ideal family place for (young) families!

Great and spacious chalet (40m2) furnished for families with up to 3 children. We are a family of 4 (girl of 6 and boy of 4 years) who like to share their lovely quiet place with other young families and/or couples. The site where the chalet is located, the Koggeplaet is a nice and small park whose marina is directly on the largest lakes of Friesland: the Fluessen and the Heegermeer. Around the park itself, it is also possible to rent a boat or SUP, for example.

Villa Felderhof - Waterfront vacation cottage

Directly on open water and fishing waters. The old harbor and the beach are very close. The cottage is an old storage room of the former lock to the Zuiderzee. Therefore, it has a unique character and feels like you are staying on the water. Suitable for a (married) couple, possibly with two children. There is one bedroom and a loft where 2 young people can sleep. At the front is a sunny garden and at the back a jetty on the water where 2 canoes are ready. ☀️

On the Water in Heeg Wetterhaghe Meerzicht

These new (2023) thatched villas of Wetterhaghe have a beautiful unobstructed view over the Poelen, the Weisleat, right in the middle of the Frisian lake area. The sustainable villas have their own jetty with possibly a beautiful 8-person electric boat! The sloop is available between April 1 and November 1. Just sail to the village for a drink or in the morning to the bakery for fresh rolls. But a day trip on the Frisian lakes is also a quiet sensation!
