This is a spacious apartment suitable for up to four people and a short walk down a hill to the main Ida Tao area. Host is very nice and allows parking on the premises. The location is peaceful, it is in nature with a view of the mountains. Great value for a trip to Sun Moon Lake!

The room was incredibly spacious and you immediately feel at home in the bed and breakfast. They are very strict about noise which is great so everyone can rest and the cats are very relaxed too. They made a vegetarian breakfast for me both days which was healthy, fresh, and delicious. The place is walking distance to many things as well.

日月潭雙人套房近向山遊客中心

I love that the place was well designed and updated interiors (a lot of stays around Sun Moon Lake are very old fashioned). Long tables made it easy for me to get work done, although you should note there is no wifi available here, and I tethered off my phone without any problems. The stay is inside a school, but we came on the long weekend so the kids were off, and it was a natural surrounding with a calm vibe. There are other people staying and campers outside, but everyone was very respectful. The location is 10-15 min by scooter to Shuishe and 20-30 min to Ita Thoa Village, but there are nice sights to see off the beaten path around this area that is not filled with tourists ie: a beautiful lillly garden / park called 日月潭金針花園區. The drives around this area are breath taking including views of the mountains and tea farms. A great weekend getaway.

This place felt more like a hotel than an apartment. 日月潭 (Sun Moon Lake) is pretty small, so everything is within walking distance from the room. They have a desk where they can recommend places to go and sell tickets for different activities (I recommend buying the tickets at the desk because they have discounts). The area is beautiful, very relaxing, and surrounded by nature. I had a wonderful stay and would love to come back!
