Holiday rentals with a patio in Sunday River

Excellent last minute find for our family doing a late season ski trip to Mt. Abram. Clean, comfy beds, nicely laid out, lots of attention to detail for the needs of the guests. The only suggestions I would make are small, and likely they are coming as I believe the unit is new. Area rugs, particularly in the main space, would make the space feel much more homey. A sink in the kitchenette would be helpful (we noticed a hookup for this, so perhaps it's on it's way). Maybe one more seat in the living room so than two people could comfortably sit in there? Otherwise it was great, and we'd stay there again, with or without these changes!

The place was so clean, quiet and peaceful. Secluded but so much to do in a short area. Can’t say enough good things. Will be coming back.

My first visit to NH & fell in love with the weather. Cute little upstairs home & perfect location which we didn’t have to travel far for Berlin’s HS graduation. Weather was awesome, we used ceiling fans & had doors open while watching a movie in comfortable living room, washer/dryer was convenient. Thanks so much!

My husband and I stayed at Markie's place in Norway for two weeks. If you like walking to restaurants and shopping, her location is perfect. The kitchen is large compared to other Airbnb locations we have stayed, and very well equipped for home cooking. The washer, dryer, and dishwasher worked perfectly. The beds are not as firm as we would have liked, so if you have back problems it could be an issue. The thermostat is controlled by Markie, but when we needed the heat turned up she was responsive and made the apartment very comfortable. The two chairs in the living room were very comfortable, but the couch was past its prime and needs to be replaced. The apartment is upstairs but the stairway is well maintained and provides easy access. Overall it was a great place to stay.

Bright open space in a peaceful, safe location. Felt at home. Teens enjoyed the pool area and rec room/pool tables. Condos are a little dated but are well cared for and tastefully decorated. This unit had an updated kitchen along with a well appreciated washer/dryer. Host was extremely responsive and gave clear, accurate directions and provided helpful tips. Checkout/departure was a breeze. Would stay again if in the area. Thanks for sharing your space!

We had a wonderful stay! Lisa is very responsive and so nice. We quickly made friends with Bella, the resident dog, and she is the sweetest pup. We were surprised with a Thanksgiving snow storm and the town lost power but there is a whole house generator, so we didn’t skip a beat or notice the power outage, which was so nice! There is a coffee pot on site (not a Keurig) and Lisa provided coffee grounds, which was amazing because we brought coffee pods. The bathroom is directly off the bedroom but there is no door, so if you need more privacy, I’d plan to tack up a blanket. The view of the lake is gorgeous and the property is peaceful. A gas station with a Dunkin is just a just a minute or two down the road and very convenient. We would definitely return.

We were in the area for a very brief last min visit to see family and because we didn't want to kennel our dog we searched airbnb and found Elizabeth's place. She has a wonderful place gem of a place, very peaceful. We awoke to the sounds of the birds singing. Her place is the most dog friendly we have been to with dog toys,treats,bags and dog bed and our dog immediately felt right at home. Elizabeth is a wonderful host ,very responsive and kind. We will stay here again should we be back to the area.

An absolute beauty! Great Views, comfy beds, amazing sound systems. The home was very clean and organized, everything was very easy to reach as well. Micheal was a great host, very responsive, everything was written down for us as well. Only complaint was that it was difficult to navigate the AC and some pots and pans weren't clean, but we took care of that. Will be coming back next year 🫶🏽

The pictures don’t do this place justice. I hosted a low-key bachelorette weekend for a friend and Angele’s home was the perfect cozy getaway we were searching for. There is plenty of seating, lots of fun games in the cabinet downstairs, and the views from the back deck are breathtaking! Angele was extremely proactive and responsive and we all felt so comfortable and at home during our stay. 10/10 recommend and will certainly be back in the future!

What can I say, this place is truly amazing as well as Joao is an amazing host. This is my second time booking this place and I have no complaints. By the far the best air bnb I have stayed in. It checks all the boxes, every detail and every carefully thought out extra down to having smores and camp fire supplies to the grill supplies to the carefully placed throws in the living room. This place feels like your home while you’re there, tranquil and so safe. This place is better than pictured and is HUGE in person. Everyone I brought with me just kept repeating how much they loved the space and how it was perfect. Joao also personally went out of his way to refund half of my stay due to the fact of me having to leave early the first time I stayed for emergency reasons, I didn’t ask or request for a refund but he did it off his own choice, which he did not have to do. 10/10 experience all around the board. Anytime I’m in the area, I’ll be staying here ! Don’t double think it, just BOOK.

Just got back from our weekend stay . Beautiful space that looked just like the photos. House was spotless. The house is located in a very peaceful and private area. Our family enjoyed the kayaks on the pond during the day and the fire pit on the deck at night . Very relaxing weekend .

Jason’s house was great. Although it is old, the updates he has made are great. Very homey feel, comfortable and clean.

We booked our stay super last minute (same day) and were accommodated with a wonderful stay at Darryl's house. The views were gorgeous!!! Coffee on the porch over looking the pond and mountains was the best way to start the day. We traveled with kids and dogs - there was something for everyone! Beautiful house, great communication, overall a great stay! If you're thinking about it, book the trip! We can't wait to visit again :)

We had an amazing stay at Kim’s place! The cabin was peaceful, cozy, and exactly what we needed to unwind. Kim was incredibly responsive and kind throughout the booking process, making everything smooth and easy. The home was spotless, well-stocked, and surrounded by beautiful nature—perfect for a relaxing getaway.

We had a fantastic two-night stay at Anthony’s place! He’s an incredibly responsive and thoughtful host — replied to my texts within seconds and provided a detailed handbook with everything from check-in instructions to local recommendations (restaurants, parks, and things to do). The condo was clean, quiet, and fully equipped with everything we needed. It’s also very kid-friendly and just a 2-minute drive to Story Land, which was perfect for our trip. Highly recommend staying here — we’d definitely come back!

Enjoying your morning coffee, starring off at the Mountain View, should be a everyday thing. It’s just a great way to start the day. Despite a minuscule miscommunication between the cleaner and host prior to our arrival. A one off. The place was lovely and we would recommend. Great for an intimate / close group of friends / family of 6 like many reviews said. But if you really want to make it work, 8 people can fit. Manageable with one bathroom. In emergencies the indoor pool has changing rooms with extra restrooms. Some who finds stairs difficult, should be aware it is on a third floor walk up. So plan to pack light. There are lockers on the first floor for skis/snowboards storage. The slopes are walking distances right across from the parking lot. Easy to hop on and off trail (Bunny slope steepness) down to the lifts, very good for beginners. Kitchen fully stocked. Balcony was a plus to dry gear. Dog friendly. Really it has everything we needed. Great location.

Great place to stay so close to Sunday river! Wonderful to be within close driving distance of the mountain. Comfortably slept 4 people for a weekend. Kitchen and bathroom were clean and had everything we needed! Would definitely recommend staying here for a ski trip or whatever else.

Great long weekend stay! Location perfect for trail/gravel biking, hiking, waterfall searching, and fly fishing! Perfect for 2…..great views to Doublehead and black mts. Accommodations were perfect. Kitchen stocked with essentials, large bathroom w separate jet tub…..and adequate hot water capacity to run it. Recommend highly.

Great place. Great location. Very clean and updated. Our 2 year old loved all the stuffed toy bears.

Joia's place is incredible! We are a family of five and had more than enough room. Everything we needed was in the home, even things like fans, extra blankets, and night lights for the kids. She has thought of everything and the place is clean, well organized, and located on a quiet mountain side. We were there to ski, but the condo is close to lots of great things to do and has plenty of good restaurants very close by. We would definitely stay here again!

It was our first time renting an Airbnb. I have no complaints. On the contrary, everything was perfect. We loved the apartment, the view of the mountains, and the owner treated me super friendly. My family and I had a great time.
