What a lovely stay in the bush. Quiet, isolated and relaxing, just what we were looking for. Rob is also a great host. We felt right at home. The clean, spacious and comfortable accommodation was lovely, but what we particularly enjoyed was the abundance of well kept dirt roads crisscrossing the farm - they made for excellent trail running while spotting numerous buck and birds. We would highly recommend a weekend at Copper Moon.

Perfect location, only a short drive from Addo National Park where we were heading the next day. We enjoyed a pleasant night rest here, it had everything we needed. Great communication from Sreandi as well. Thank you.

Wir waren im Addo Nationalpark und haben dann bei Nita und Mike übernachtet. Es war einfach traumhaft!! Die beiden sind sehr liebenswert und total gastfreundlich. Unser Zimmer war ein absoluter Traum. Es war sehr sauber und mit Liebe eingerichtet. Der Garten war wunderschön, wir konnten uns gar nicht satt sehen. Es gab so viele Pflanzen und auch Obstbäume. Es wurde auch ein total leckeres Frühstück angeboten. Es war einfach ein Traum und hätten wir mehr Zeit gehabt, wären wir sehr gerne länger geblieben. Wir können jedem der in die Gegend kommt oder im Addo ist die Unterkunft von Herzen empfehlen. Vielen Dank nochmal, wir kommen sehr gerne wieder. 😊

Die Unterkunft war wie beschrieben und befindet sich auf einem sehr schönen und ruhigen Anwesen. Mir hat es an nichts gefühlt. Glynis war eine hervorragende Gastgeberin, immer sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit, zuvorkommend und sehr gut erreichbar. Vielen Dank Glynis die beiden schön Tage in PE.

Rob war ein sehr freundlicher und zuvorkommender Gastgeber, hat alles gut erklärt und gute Empfehlungen für die Gegend gegeben. Jedes Tipi verfügt über ein eigenes Bad mit Dusche und Außendusche. Im privaten Park leben drei Giraffen, Vogelsträuße und einige Antilopen. Der Addo Elefant Park ist gut zu erreichen und man kann sogar einige Tiere direkt gegenüber beobachten wenn man glück hat.

We loved our stay at Sorita’s during our visit to Addo. The cottage is quite spacious. Sorita is such a lovely, kind person and gave us some great tips on game sighting (we found the meerkats & a lion!) And the animal viewing doesn’t stop once you leave Addo - Sorita’s farm has so many cute goats. Baby ones too! There is some construction going on on the road to Addo, but we were lucky 3 of the 4 times and weren’t delayed.

The suite was spacious, homely and had the most beautiful outside views. The host replied timeously and made sure that the stay was comfortable for us. The staff was also very friendly. Kelvin was so friendly and respectful. He made fire for us everyday effortlessly.

My husband and son stayed at Jackie’s place and they were really impressed. Jackie and Judy were so helpful and communicated everything so clearly. It was also in the perfect location. We will definitely be back ❤️

A beautiful farm, very peaceful and great for the family. My lil one enjoyed seeing the sight of horses and geese. Definitely worth every cent.

Wir waren nur eine Nacht da, am Vorabend unseres Aufenthaltes im Addo Nationalpark. Keith und Nondumiso haben uns sehr freundlich empfangen und wir haben eine Tour über die Bio Zitrusplantage erhalten die wir wirklich interessant fanden! Keith hatte auch Tipps zu guten Zeiten und Orten im Nationalpark was wir sehr angenehm fanden. Die Zimmer sind groß und mit allen wichtigen Dingen ausgestattet. Empfehlung!

Nous avons passés un bon séjour dans ce logement perdu au milieu d'un désert de cactus, le cadre était très beau et dépaysant. Attention cependant, la route pour y accéder (R400) est assez difficile d'accès (graviers, trous...), je vous recommande de venir avec une voiture relativement haute, au risque de mettre bien plus de temps que prévu pour accéder au logement

Vrijheid Farmhouse is a paradise situated in great landscape next to the Amakhala Game Reserve which keeps you observing the vicinity all day.

Truly an amazing venue. Set in nature. Just the most amazing way to rejuvenate one's soul. Beyond a 5 star experience with amazing hosts. You won't be sorry picking this spot for your next getaway.

Addo is a beautiful place and Addo White House matched the description. Located on a small farm, quiet, safe and peaceful. The dogs are very friendly. Roger was a exceptional host. He provided tea/coffee/sugar/milk. Even offered to have our laundry done! Gave us some good restaurant suggestions - please try Africanos, thoroughly enjoyed the meals. Close to Addo Elephant Park. I forgot an item in the room and Roger was so kind to courier to our home in Durban - thank you Roger! MTN reception was very good, we watched the WC Final on our cellphone during load shedding.

We spent three nights at Roger’s place. We used it as a base to visit Addo Elephant Park, which we hugely enjoyed. Roger’s place is a 15 minute drive from the main gate. The little unit was fine for our needs - quiet and clean and comfortable. Roger was available at all times to deal with questions. He quickly sorted out a minor concern to our satisfaction and was a great source of information about the area. The location is a working citrus farm and was very interesting be a part of. We enjoyed our time at the Addo White House and would come back again.

Staying in this charming farmhouse felt like a journey back in time. The farmhouse is surrounded by unspoiled nature. However, it's worth noting that there are limited dining options in the vicinity, and the nearest shop is quite a distance away, so make sure you have everything you'll need with you. There was an option provided by the hosts for a hearty breakfast and dinner, with the unique twist of grilling your own meat over an open fire. Jenifer also booked a very nice game drive for us. Just ask her about the options. We did encounter a bit of bad luck with heavy rain during our visit, which made our journey to the farmhouse a small adventure, especially considering our mode of transportation was a bus. In winter, a 4x4 vehicle is probably a wise choice for the journey. Despite the challenges, our stay in this farmhouse was an unforgettable experience, and I'd highly recommend it to those seeking a rustic retreat into the past.
