Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Surgères

Chantal is very responsive and friendly. The accommodation is very convenient and comfortable. We spent 2 nights with our 17-month-old daughter and enjoyed the provision of a high chair + umbrella bed. I would recommned this property.

We had a great stay in François and Hélène's beautiful house. It is very well furnished and the garden is splendid, with a trampoline that made the children happy. François and Hélène are very welcoming and friendly.

We had a really lovely few days here. The space is homely and well-equipped. The grounds are beautiful, and my children loved the ponies, the swimming pool and the trampoline. William was a very warm and helpful host. We ate in his brother’s restaurant down the road - Lotte and Liette - which was delicious, and we bought home-made bread from his sister-in-law which was also delicious!

Very quiet, new, clean and excellently decorated house. With a wonderful and private patio. Very nice and well located. Brigitte waited for us to give us the keys and instructions. It was wonderful.

The apartment is great overall for family of 4. 1 large, but shared bathroom. No separate WC. Some age on the furnishings. Well laid out and had all housewares needed. Decor is curated. Excellent location. Friendly and accommodating host. (AC would have made this an even better stay. )

The apartment was a perfect place for our short stay in La Rochelle with an early morning train to catch. Bathroom robes were such a lovely touch and much appreciated after a busy day around. Ophelia’s place is definitely on my ready to go back list for our next visit. Thank you everyone for your hospitality!

I have to say this is one of my favourite places on AirBnB. It’s actually nicer than the photos!! And the most comfortable bed! I loved that a little shopping trolley was even provided for my trips to the boulangerie and marche! Christian was on hand to help with checking in and out. Great location! Excellent location: The accommodation is very clean and functional. Dominique is welcoming and accommodating. Special mention to the bedding of great comfort. Ideally located, the residence is very pleasant, Saint Martin en Ré is a charming village. I highly recommend it.

Corinne is such an amazing and responsive host, and her place was exactly what we needed. Would 100% recommend. A bit about the apartment: it looked exactly as described, comfortable and clean. Its location probably can’t be better since it was right by the pier of Saint-Martin, a very charming and calm village. Now, the real stars were the hosts. Corinne herself was very responsive and proactive and even though she wasn’t there at check-in, she arranged for a family member to not only be there and greet us, but also drive us from the La Rochelle train station to the island. She also called the bus company to confirm our bus time upon departure and was kind enough to allow a later check in so we had a place to leave our belongings while waiting for our train. Overall, amazing hosts. Thank you!

A well-appointed accommodation, close to amenities and a stone's throw from the port of Saint-Martin. A very responsive host who takes good care of his guests; he responded promptly to water damage in one of the bathrooms. Too bad the local products were no longer available in the accommodation. Amazing apartment on the port front in La Rochelle, with great views and in the centre of this very walkable town. Lots of great cafes and restaurants nearby. Apartment was clean and tidy with everything you need, including for travelling with a baby. Highly recommended!

Very pleasant stay in Sylvie's apartment, ideal location close to the old port, aquarium and many restaurants, the apartment is large and very clean, the parking is a big asset we were able to enjoy La Rochelle on foot, the Hotel for the delivery of the keys is perfect, and Sylvie is very considerate, call before arrival, advice, etc. A safe bet in La Rochelle. We'll be back at Sylvie's!

Apartment in a very good location. The layout and decor are great. Everything is done to make you feel good. It was very clean and very well equipped. Magnificent view of the estuary with a balcony for aperitifs and meals outside. Excellent place and if we have to rent again in Royan we will go back.

Mathieu welcomed us in person. He was very friendly and his explanations were very clear. The accommodation is very pleasant and especially extremely well located, in the heart of La Rochelle, in the pedestrian streets. In short, everything was perfect.

We had a very good stay (2 couples of friends without children) in this apartment with a direct view of the beach. Clearly the number 1 asset of this accommodation. Clean and functional apartment, close to all shops on foot, very convenient. Good quality bedding. Just lacked the little "Airbnb spirit" side, we only had messaging exchanges with the hosts, quite succinct and no contact otherwise.
