Monthly Rentals in Surry County

Cathy was super sweet. She let us check in early and I was so thankful! They introduced themselves and were so kind. House had easy check-in. You could hear some noises from upstairs during the day, but it wasn’t bad. Always quiet at night! Bed was soooo comfy too!

Plain on the outside and pleasantly surprised when we walked in. Very spacious, nicely decorated, very clean, very comfortable and plenty of amenities. Nice fire-pit area and front patio. The surroundings are very peaceful and it’s close to the interstate. Thank David and Amy for hosting us. We will definitely stay there again if we are in this area.

This was an amazing experience! The cottage is lovely and makes you feel right at home. Everything you could want is provided, including a vast array of games and children's things if you have a family. We didn't see the bison the first day or so, but they made up for it the rest of the week we were there. It's so interesting watching them, and they really come close to the house to graze, so you get a close encounter with them. It's also a short jaunt into Mayberry with all it has to offer for nostalgia. I can't recommend this place more!
