The renovated, very comfortable, modern and large 2 1/2 room apartment is located in the middle of the original village center. It is only about 6 minutes to the mountain railways (summer and winter operation) and only 1 minute to the Flims-Post postbus station or the free shuttle. Bakeries, supermarkets, Stenna Center, butchers and many good restaurants are within a 1 to 6-minute walk. In 2004 I got the chance to design my own family's week-end house in the village Pigniu. This fabulous place at 1300 meters above sea in the Surselva Region of Graubünden province, above the Town Ilanz, was well-known to me, for my parents owned an old farmhouse until the 1980ies here. The Spiral shaped chalet has the form of a band, changing from concrete in the base to wooden shingles upwards. The house is designed to connect us to the landscape we love. You will heat with chopped wood.
