House holiday rentals in Sussex County

After the hustle and bustle of working near the city, this home was a much needed peaceful retreat. Spacious; Comfortable; Large bed to sink into at the end of the night; and peaceful grounds. We had our two toy poodles with us and they had a treat running the fenced in yard. If the weather cooperated, we would have been in the pool. Next time-;)

Such a beautiful spot on the lake!!! We had the most beautiful weekend, the kids loved he pool and the boats, nothing was missing! We would have stayed another week! Jennifer and Jose answered all our messages within a few minutes and were super accommodating. We will definitely be back!

We spent an incredible weekend at the Milford House. Everything was perfect. Tommy is an excellent host who was always attentive to our needs. Friends from out of the country came to stay, and renting this house to share was an excellent choice. I will definitely rent this house again to spend a relaxing weekend in the mountains. Thank you, Tommy, for such excellent service. House was big enough to accommodate a crowd of 10 people.

Spent a weekend here with friends and had an awesome time. Yevgeniy was extremely accommodating, and responded to any questions very quickly. I would 100% come back.

The house was perfect for our golf trip. All seven of us slept comfortably, and there was plenty of room for our whole group. We enjoyed the pool, basketball hoop, and the deck. Inside, we loved the movie room. Finally, the hosts were very responsive and helped us when we had minor issues and questions during our short stay. We highly recommend this spot and look forward to coming back soon!

Jackie's place was perfectly sized for our large extended family to get together for the long Memorial Day weekend. The many bedrooms, the large living room, and the expansive grounds were what we needed to relax and not feel cramped. Jackie communicated with us throughout and was super helpful. We had a great time eating and spending time together as a family.

Susan was an excellent host, and everything was clean! The place had all the amenities we needed and more. Finding the location was easy, and Susan provided a wealth of information about places to visit with my family, especially taking the weather into account. I will definitely book again. See you soon!

This is a great home with plenty of space and much attention has been paid to make your stay comfortable, the stay was excellent and Fonseca was extremely quick to respond to our text messages. Highly recommended to others.

Rick is the most responsive and helpful host I have EVER encountered. He answered all of my questions, sent someone over at 10:30 at night to assist us with an issue (that was completely our fault) and gave us plenty of advice on local attractions. This is also the first place we have stayed where there was coffee provided, cereal, granola bars and fruit cups to get your day started. The place is beautiful and in such a peaceful place. If you have an opportunity to book this, don’t wait!

The house was perfect for us. The grill area/ summer kitchen was awesome! We enjoyed our stay. Everything was seamless.

Garrett and Chad were very responsive and gave a great recommendation for dinner in town. We had an issue with the microwave not working but decided not to have it fixed while we were there since we were leaving the next day. The house and grounds are very spacious and clean. Bedrooms are good sizes. You’ll even have some deer graze right near the house. Overall a great stay!

This place is exactly as advertised - great place on the lake with everything you’d need! Amanda is a lovely host who is very responsive. We had a delightful time - super convenient for our time in the area for a family graduation.

Our stay was very pleasant and peaceful. We had all the comforts of home and more. The house was spacious and the bedrooms were placed just perfect to have privacy. We used the guide book that was arranged so that we would know where the best grocery stores were and other amenities. Thank you for such perfect accommodations!

Stayed here to attend a wedding and I could not be happier. The first night we sat on the chairs outside and watched the sunset. After that it was raining but we were able to enjoy the view from the living area. Beautiful home with a lot of space. Very quiet and peaceful stay. There was a power outage and Noma was very helpful and responsive giving us updates on when the power would come back. It was not a problem because we enjoyed the serenity of the place. I would definitely stay here again rain or shine.

My family and I had an amazing stay at Michael's place! From the moment we booked, he was incredibly responsive, answering all our questions promptly and with great detail. Would stay here again! Great for large groups, lots of different areas to hang out in. The side and back yards are well kept and such beautifully landscaped. The water toys were the highlight of the weekend! Shahriq was responsive when we had an issue with the water in the upstairs bathroom (thanks Shahriq!). Definitely book!

I can’t image giving this place anything less than 5 stars! I’m already looking forward to my next stay at Anar’s Lakeside Villa. There was plenty of space for everyone and all the essentials are included. But honestly, even though were was a game room, no one wanted to stay in because the patio in the backyard was so stunning! There’s a beautiful fire pit in the middle we were able to make s’mores on, the chairs were comfortable, and right on the other side you’re able to see the water and boats. During the day we were able to play games in the actual backyard, and then chill in the covered area at night. That being said, outside of the house/backyard patio being great, the area surrounding the house has plenty to do. There is a lake for kayaking or boat rentals (my favorite), great hiking trails (reach out to Anar for recommendations, she has plenty), and shops to purchase food if you’re looking to use the grills/fire pit. Overall, 10000/10, but Airbnb will only let me give it a 5.

Nice place!! Gets really buggy and night, but is out in the country so kinda expected. Briana responded really quickly to all of our problems and got the fixed within 24 hours. Lots of space and everything was really nice!! Would stay here again💛

Staying at this home for Thanksgiving is just what the Dr. ordered peaceful, clean and views from the various rooms were amazing ... woods, trees and amazing blue and gray skies. The fireplace in the living room and the first floor has an amazing homey feeling especially for the holidays. Kitchen fully equipped -- lovely if you want to kick back and cook great meal. The host was very reliable and communicative. Always emailed in advance of our query. We will back! Thank you Antonio.

Wonderful stay at Krystyn’s beautiful home. Our family loved the proximity to the river, beautiful views from the backyard, and comfortable beds. Would definitely recommend and hoping to go back again soon!

This house is prefect! Plenty of room for everyone to spread out, lots of dining space for meal times, and right off the trail to the bridge to downtown Milford - no need to drive!

We loved our stay! The lake house was very cozy, peaceful and relaxing. The lake views were absolutely gorgeous with direct access and a dock with kayaks for use. The hot tub was perfect for two with great views of lake. All the trees and flowers were beautiful. It was awesome to have coffee in the morning outside and watch the birds and turtles. The bed was very comfortable and a great open and light kitchen with new appliances. Lots to do in the area and at house. Wonderful close by resteraunts. Out host was great to work with and very friendly too! Thanks so much Yan Yan Li! Highly recommend and would love to return for another visit!
