Cottage holiday rentals in Sussex Inlet

We loved this beach holiday, so much so that our dog refused to get in the car to come home! It was exactly what we needed. A very quiet town, right on the water. We would love to go back and hope to do so. Such a gem of a location, this should be a “Rare Find” AirBnB, it truly was magical.

The cottage is lovely facing a paddock of horses and cows. We loved being so close to nature. The interior was warm and full of character. We loved loved our stay. We came for winery tours and wine tastings famous in the local area. And in the evening enjoyed warming up in the outdoor jacuzzi that Sam kindly made up for us with a fire. Highly recommend this experience.

Our only negative about our stay is that we didn't choose to stay longer. Banksia Park cottages in Kangaoo Valley are located in a truly magical place. Beautifully scenic and serene and totally surrounded by nature. We sparked up the fire pit as soon as we got there and had it going until we went to sleep. Everything was great

Had a wonderful relaxing weekend. The cottage was lovely. It had a fireplace to keep us warm and the all the amenities we needed for a great weekend spent with friends. Angela and Warren were lovely hosts.

We very much enjoyed our stay at Sandra's place. The outdoor bath was awesome, still super private but you can hear the waves which was really lovely. I did a lot of cooking and the kitchen was well equipped to facilitate this. There were lots of areas to chill and relax which was great. The neighbourhood was very quiet which made for a serene stay.

We had such a lovely weekend. 2 families with 2 kids and 3 dogs. place was loved by all. Kayaks for guests to use, we took our paddleboards, great spot for fishing, private jetty. Grassed area with shared BBQs and an enclosed balcony to keep dogs and kids contained. Very relaxing and peaceful. Definitely recommend

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Byres, such a peaceful rural location, rolling green hills the sound of the cows and yet only 9 mins to Berry and 7 mins to Shoalhaven. The house was well equipped, we made great use of the outdoor spa and the coffee machine, glad that the rooms had fans and the master had aircon, comfy beds. Loved it all! Would definitely recommend this property and we hope to book again in the future.

Absolutely beautiful cottage set amongst some of the most beautiful gardens and trees, amazing spa hotub and the cosiest fireplace on cool nights. Highly recommend.

We had a wonderful two nights at the cottage, Natalie’s instructions are very clear and concise in checking in. At first you feel like you’re in a cottage and surroundings that could be at least over 100yo but beautifully presented, until you read the story in the cottage info book and realise it’s only around 20yo and that a lot of the material is from famous buildings and locations across not only Australia but the world. Great kitchen, very well appointed, heated floors in the bathrooms, great coffee machine, fire place and bbq. Would stay there again in a heart beat. Thanks Natalie

What a magical house in the most perfect location! The beds are super comfy with lovely linen. The house is quiet and has everything you need. The view from the deck is next level. We loved our stay and Holly was a lovely host!

We had a great weekend at Luke’s house, it was a great location with a short easy walk to a beautiful beach. The house had all we could ask for BBQ, fire pit, outdoor eating area and great views. Beds were comfortable with plenty of sleeping options and all the appliances imaginable. Luke was quick with his communication and gave us a very generous late check out . Highly recommended.

Me and my family had a wonderful stay here. Brett and Cheryl is has been very accommodating for my family and Dogs. Definitely a place to stay with your family.

Thanks Leigh Lovely place to spend a long weekend. Leigh was extremely responsive and helpful in making sure our stay was as comfortable as possible. Property was beautiful as well and made sure our pup was comfortable and enjoyed her stay as well. Also a convenient spot with short drives to many beaches , cafes and the shopping centre and walking distance to an amazing hiking spot. Thanks for an amazing time!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and found the surrounding very relaxing. Very comfortable bed great fireplace and lovely deck overlooking the very large pond area. Mimosa eco Retreat is really an outstanding place to stay and Billabong cottage was beautiful.

Chris was a great host and the place lived up to expectations in a wonderful way. It was such a cosy place on a cool late autumn weekend, and so wonderful to be able to watch out on the horses and kangaroos on the other side of the fenced in garden (so your 4 legged friends can also watch from a safe distance!). All in all a fabulous place and we will definitely love to return soon.

We had a beautiful stay at Justine’s place. The house is absolutely beautiful with everything you would need. Fully equipped kitchen, bbq and a gorgeous bathroom. Our 1 year old had a great time watching the ponies, wildlife and crawling around the expansive deck. A perfect home for a family getaway.

A lovely private cottage in the most beautiful tranquil setting. Kitchen has everything for a lovely roast dinner in front of the open fire. We absolutely loved our stay!

We had the best time at Ken’s place. Photos do not do it justice, the cabin is stunning and the property is beautiful. We booked last minute and Ken was super responsive, kind and flexible. I noted in my messages that we were so excited for the fireplace as it has been cold, when we arrived, the fire was preset for us and the cabin was nice and warm. There was hay we could feed the horses, the kids really loved that experience and the cabin is well equipped. The bath is really luxurious and deeper than normal, perfect spot for a glass of wine and some relaxing. We already have plans for a longer trip to Berry to return to Ken’s place. The location is great too, only about 1km from the centre of Berry but so quiet and expansive that you wouldn’t know. Overall, this is one of the nicest AirBNBs I have ever booked. We will be back.

The Folly is a gorgeous cottage with ample space for two people, we loved our stay and enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere and the fire (once we got it going!). Small touches were appreciated and made our stay all the more relaxing.

Bigger and better than the pictures! entertainers delight, it was the perfect spot for myself and a group of friends for my 35th Birthday. 10 minute drive into Berry which was great, but we just loved our time at the house. so relaxing and the house and property was stunning!

We had a lovely stay at Knoxberry Farm with our 4 yo. Location is excellent, lovely outlook from the large windows and deck to trees and field beyond and just a few minutes drive in to town. We went for scenic runs along the quiet road. The cottage is compact, we loved the big beds and hotel bedding, very comfortable. We did all our cooking on the bbq on the covered deck in sunshine or torrential rain, great setup with a fire pit in the garden as well.

Brendan’s shack is as beautiful and peaceful as all the other reviews describe it. The garden is particularly stunning with an amazing collection of Banksias. We also went kayaking multiple times in the river and mountain biking in Termil Forest over the highway. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to be back soon.

Mary’s cottage is absolutely lovely. Mum is 92yrs and the cottage suited us both perfectly. We enjoyed the most wonderful sleep each night, the bed is super comfortable, like sleeping on a cloud. We felt safe and comfortable throughout our stay and would be very happy to stay again. Lovely big comfy lounge and very well appointed kitchen. Very clean, very stylish. Mary was super helpful and responsive. A super host for sure. The backyard is wonderful. So much open space and greenery, a hammock and lots of places to sit and relax. A very special place indeed.
