Quiet little piece of heaven on earth. Enjoy the lake, sit by a fire, enjoy the nature God has provided in our sanctuary on Pickett Lake. Boat ramp is 100 yards down the road. 4 kayaks, canoe, and paddleboard are provided, all of which can be launched from the house. Fish from the dock or explore the lake. Use the grill or take a short drive to Branford or Mayo and enjoy some of the restaurants. Come boat, fish, or swim in the lake or just enjoy the lake view. Outdoor fire pit includes wood.

So go for a solo paddle, join local guide trips to various springs, or hike on the property and at nearby parks.

Ichetucknee springs log cabin is the closest Airbnb to the world famous springhead of the Ichetucknee Springs / River. This beautiful fully custom, 3 bedroom, 2 bath, authentic log cabin. (Tucknee Inn) has beautiful wooden animal carvings and river tables throughout the house. Outside, relax in the hot tub, or tell campfire stories in our custom built firepit area. The cabin also boasts a huge custom rock shower, a large loft that acts as a second living room, and spacious bedrooms.

We are next door to Rum Island Park which is a swimming spring, kayak and canoe pick up/ drop off/boat ramp location. It is a private cottage. 1 bdr Sleeps 4. 1 Bedroom with a sleeper sofa. You’ll love my place because of the location. The river is in the backyard. You can launch your personal canoe or kayak. Sit by the fire pit or enjoy the deck and cook out with friends and family. Bring a boat, or two 2-person kayaks available for use. Great views from the deck and dock that overhangs the river. Very peaceful. Please note this is a rural area, it's wooded and can be dark. Get unplugged for a few days and enjoy the peaceful surroundings of the Suwannee River.
