Holiday rentals with a kayak in Suwannee River

Tom was very nice, the house was very clean and he had many recommendations on places to go. I would highly recommend the yellow bird!

The Otter House is absolutely beautiful and immaculately clean and organized. The view of the Suwanee River is breathtaking and can be seen beautifully from the house. We loved the fact that there is a wonderful restaurant called Treasure Camp close by, and even in within walking distance. The whole area is pristine and the most peaceful area that I have ever experienced. There is so much to do and it is close to several springs and to Cedar Key, and all of the people in the area are pleasant and kind. It is simply wonderful out there and I hope to be able to go often! Oh, and the beds are the most comfortable this side of heaven!!!

What a fabulous Airbnb. House was amazing! Clean, comfortable and every amenity that you could need was there. One of the best Airbnb’s that I have stayed at. The property was so beautiful and so much to see and do. Do not be scared to book this gem! Worth every penny.

This AirBnb is located in a great quiet place and our host Mark was very nice and helpful with a couple of our boat issues. There is also multiple great restaurants around. The home was very clean and comfortable. Also a great outdoor seating area.

Beautiful home on a perfect lake - I rented both houses for a shared bachelor week, and every was amazing. Our hosts were friendly and helpful, including setting us up with 7 kayaks. The houses were both better than they looked in the pictures, with large modern kitchens and nice furniture. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were nice. Lastly, the docks are great, and there are lots of birds and fish around. Sunsets and sunrises were beautiful, and the property was largely shaded so it was pretty cool throughout the day. There was a bunch of parking.

The place is everything that we expected and more. It was like a resort. Everyone had a great time.

This is a great cabin!!! It was perfect for my husband, 3 kids & our pups! It's in a peaceful and private neighborhood. My son loved having the basketball hoop! The dock is amazing! Having easy access to put our kayaks in the water (instead of always driving to somewhere) was awesome! We saw gators, fish, turtles and beautiful birds! Its also an easy drive to several Springs The house has all the comforts of home. We just had to supply the groceries! Overall, this was a fun, relaxing, and beautiful cabin. Peter is easy to communicate with and quick to respond. Would love to stay here again!

Michael and his sweet dogs were amazing hosts!! Absolutely peaceful and beautiful country home with a lovely well kept garden and large shaded front porch to enjoy your coffee on in the mornings. Michael made checking in late night a breeze and had the lights on for us when we arrived. It is like a hug from back home at “mamas” as soon as you walk in. He has provided everything you could need. There are 3 full sized bedrooms with comfy beds and a big kitchen to cook for your family. We enjoyed talking with Michael and playing with the dogs, he even gave us some local made sausages to grill with our burgers that were fantastic. We can’t wait to come back for a visit. Located near gorgeous springs as well. Book this home, you won’t want to leave. Thank you Michael, see you again soon.

Family of 5 (3 kids) and two dogs from VA. Felt the house was perfect with a great yard and cool trees. The dogs didn’t need leashed and could be at ease with pool access being safe. (My dogs can’t swim) The sheets were real cotton (this means a lot) and the beds were very comfortable. Plenty of bedding and pillow options. Kitchen had the basics to cook meals which was easier. The house had everything we needed to have a great vacation other than food to eat. Close to everything we wanted to do. A great trail that was not a commercialized walk where we saw armadillos, manatees, an alligator, bald eagles, snakes and we could hear two owls talking. It was perfection. The swing out back was a nice peaceful touch and I really appreciated the grill. We saw crystal clear water at three sisters while kayaking as well as dolphins at sunset. We took a boat cruise to an island and found more shells I’ve seen in my life. I’d come back again and again. No hoopla where tons of people were.

Dennis and Debra were excellent hosts. The little cottage was so cute and my dogs and I felt right at home. I had a chance to meet Dennis and he was very friendly and attentive. The location is great and near restaurants, a grocery store and Homosassa Springs State Park. I will definitely stay there again when I am in the area.

Great hidden little gem! William has the place packed with everything you need for a quick get away trip! From kayaks, to crock pots. We even got a friendly visit from one of the baby alligators. Only thing i can suggest is making the house address numbers a little more visible from the road! And for other guest, make sure to shut the Florida room to help keep the place nice and cool. Thanks for the great stay!

The cottage is beautifully remodeled and decorated. It is in a quiet neighborhood within minutes of downtown. The kitchen was extremely well stocked, the linens were new and soft and the furniture was interestingly eclectic. The huge flat screen TV had easy access to many stations and online platforms. The cottage also has a huge backyard area great for family gatherings. There is a Publix within 5 mins as well as churches close by. Mt Dora counts with a wide array of fine dining options as well as many new stores with interesting offerings. We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful escape.

Nicole was an excellent host! I was spending time exploring new springs in the Ocala National Forest and wanted some place to stay close so I did not have to drive home and back the next day. Her home is very clean and I spent all my time there enjoying the lake, grilled steak and took the kayak out 3 separate times! The bed was so comfortable and would absolutely return here next time I want a two day Forrest adventure! I highly recommend her cottage to anyone visiting the area!

Withlacoochee river is ABSOLUTELY STUNNING!!! The house had a lot of fun things to do, as well. The wii, darts, & board games kept us entertained while it rained. When I booked it, I took Laurie I was surprising my bf for his birthday & she put some happy birthday signs out for us. Very sweet. The only thing I wish I knew was how close to the Highway it is. If you’re a light sleeper, definitely bring earplugs or something. The constant trucks passing by kept us awake most of the night. Overall though, we really enjoyed ourselves!

We really loved staying here, went for rest and it was so peaceful there. Husband fished and fished loved the lake. House was very clean and nice, so many extras in the kitchen. We will be back. Great neighbors on both sides.

This place is a must do! My family calls it the cabin for many years now. It is one of the most peaceful places I have ever been and I travel often! The host is incredible there is nothing you will need but some groceries and the desire to relax!

Our stay was amazing! Very tranquil and peaceful setting. We were made aware that recent storms had damaged some of the land, and surrounding sight seeing areas. House was comfy, felt like home. Thoroughly enjoyed sitting on the deck in the evenings listening to nature, seeing fireflies, and star gazing. We will definitely go back!!

We found the house to be very clean and comfortable. It's in a very quiet neighborhood, but easy to get to stores and local attractions. We enjoyed a campfire and time on the screen porch. The access to the neighborhood park and the use of the golf cart and paddle boards added to the value. Overall it was a great spot for a family getaway.

We wanted a quiet weekend getaway for the family and this house was perfect! Beds were comfortable, house was spacious and the setting was serene. We would definitely go back!

This was our second stay and enjoyed it as much as the first time. The grand kids loved kayaking and swimming in the lake. We attended a family wedding during our visit also. Sandy and Betsy are wonderful host. I am sure we will be back.

The Sugar Shack was the perfect place to escape from our hectic south Florida lifestyle! It was remote but close to small towns and our beautiful Florida Springs. It was so peaceful to be in the woods and relax on the Suwannee River in the big chairs provided!! The big oak trees all around are magnificent and the cabin is cozy and dreamy and has everything we needed for cooking out on the grill and sipping our morning coffee by the lazy river!! Perfect!

Cutest cabin ever! The cabin decor was a treat witin itself. Cabin was comfy with ample room for 2. Our host was fabulous and our dig received a warm welcome as well. She was always available, stayed in contact, friendly and very accommodating. She even went so far as to get us a grill, hotplate, and a pan for our stay. I wasn't sure about the location on the property as it faced the restaurant with the parking lot outside the door, but the eye for detail in the landscaping made it feel private. Although the restaurant gets busy, it was relatively quiet. This a must stay for a lovely getaway.
