Akantaya, a hidden old house in the mountains, limited to one group per day

Please spend a relaxing time in a spacious and quiet room.The inn is located in the mountain village and rarely meets people, so it has a secluded atmosphere.The interior has been renovated, and the loft features old-fashioned earthen walls and thick beams. Please drive to the inn.Two to three vehicles can be parked on the property.The entrance to the premises is a little narrow and inconvenient.It may be inconvenient for those who are not used to driving.We'll give you directions as needed. If you would like to rent barbecue equipment, please make a reservation.The price is ¥2,000 for up to 4 people and ¥2,500 for 5 or more people.We can provide draft beer at ¥1,000 per liter. Please feel free to use the kitchen supplies.Please use seasonings and 2 liters of drinking water. Instant coffee is also available.The supermarket is a 15-minute drive, and a 24-hour convenience store takes about 10 minutes, so please buy the necessary ingredients and drinks before coming. We do not have a TV, but there is a projector in the loft. There are day-use hot springs (Hoshina Onsen, Makiba-no-Yu, hot springs, and gardens) nearby. There is no washing machine, so for long-term stays, please use the coin-operated laundry (15 minutes by car).

At the gazebo by the stream, you can enjoy BBQ and campfires without worrying about the weather. It is ideal as a base for hiking, fishing, paddle boarding, and golf during the green season, and as a base for winter sports during the snow season. This house overlooks Lake Nojiri and has a superb view. There are several ski resorts (Myoko, Kurohime, Madarao) about 15-20 minutes away by car, making it a perfect base for winter sports. Enjoy the wood stove sauna and the water bath with a view. There are no private houses around, so you can listen to music and watch movies loudly. Because it is a house located deep in the mountains, we take the best measures, but in the warm season, insects come out. It snows a lot in winter. In autumn, fallen leaves dance. You will also need to adjust the wood stove fire yourself. It's not an easy house to live in, but we promise you a great view and experience. Enjoy cooking with a counter kitchen with a view, condiments and cooking utensils. (There is no equipment for BBQ)

After procuring fresh ingredients locally, move to the Rock Forest, park your car in the parking lot, and go up the stairs to bring the ingredients to the hearth space. You won't see any other people. It is 60 minutes by Shinkansen from Tokyo to Karuizawa, and 30 minutes by car from Karuizawa Station, so you can work in the morning and take a half-day off in the afternoon, for example.
