Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Swansea

Lovely and light-filled home right on the river in a stunning neighborhood. Very comfortable and had everything we needed. We stayed here for a few days to attend my niece's high school graduation after an overseas trip, and the home was the perfect place to rest and have a base from which to go and visit family. We would 100% stay here again.

This is a comfortable perch up above Bristol Harbor, a short walk from restaurants and shops along the harbor.

The house was exactly how I imagined it. A very relaxed beautiful setting with birds chirping and right near the water. The home was gorgeous and Leigh Anne was great with communicating and all the lovely touches that she did that went above and beyond. I was unwell and she dropped off tissues and specials teas etc to help and advised me on the best way to get to a Doctor. The place was amazing and a real oasis to relax and unwind on a very busy 5 week trip. We had 3 night here and we wish we could of had more. Thanks for your wonderful hospitality.

The backyard bungalow was exactly what we needed for our weekend trip to Warwick. It is perfect for a solo traveler or a couple! Easy access , nice parking , and close to most everything

We had a great time staying here, I loved all the built in’s and detail in the house. The unit was well stocked, super clean and in a fantastic location. We loved being able to walk to the zoo and take our dogs to the park. I was a little worried about how the sound would be with our dogs, and if they would bark if they heard any noise upstairs but it wasn’t a problem at all. It was also so nice using the hot tub after a full day of exploring and being able to do some laundry on our roadtrip. We ran into the hosts father once in the front of the house and he was super nice and friendly. We really enjoyed our time here and would stay again!

Gerald’s place was perfect for us. He provided a pack’n’play for our infant when requested! His place provided everything we needed. Quiet neighborhood. Highly recommend!

This place was the perfect meet-in-middle place during our honeymoon. We started in Newport and finished in Block Island, but we needed a cool and cozy place where we could be absolutely at home while visiting family in the area and this was it. The house was really cool, with all its balconies and the loft style. The couches and big chair were so comfy. The bed was also the best bed we had slept in during our entire honeymoon as well. Jo Ann had also surprised us with a gifted champagne to celebrate and lots of delicious snacks. She was very responsive and welcoming. The home itself had lots of personality, including a lot of sweet family photos and charming knickknacks that made me smile. I highly recommend this place and we definitely plan on visiting again.

Such a cute, perfect-sized place! We loved staying here for our honeymoon. We didn’t explore much of Providence but traveled to a lot of other near by areas just an hour away— Cape Cod, Boston, Newport, Block Island etc. It made a perfect home base for seeing a ton of cool places. Traffic in and out wasn’t bad either. The place was so bright and clean and comfy.

I loved this little stay, it was very peaceful and lovely. Matthew was an excellent host and the snacks and breakfast options were a lovely addition to the amenities. Matthew is a really thoughtful and lovely host, I'd love to stay here again on my next visit to Providence/Pawtucket :)

Reda’s place was absolutely perfect for a week-long stay - I felt so at home. I was visiting family who live just down the road, but needed a space of my own to work and relax between visiting with family; it fit my needs to the “t”. The kitchen was fully stocked with all utensils (even a can opener!), so I was able to cook a great meal after a long day of work. The neighborhood is peaceful and accessible; I loved going for a run over to New Bedford and back. Reda was always around to say “hi”. My family and I will definitely be back! Thank you, Reda!

Highly, highly recommend! A gem of a find! Pictures are exact and the place was spotless. Great walkable neighborhood and lots to do. I will definitely book again if I am back in town. Communication was excellent!

Spacious, clean, and lovely apartment in great location in a beautiful town. Hosts were responsive, shower was great, and beds were comfortable, although light sleepers should know that the bedrooms are right up against the street. Loved the bike path and a lot of walk-to restaurants including SS Dion, Quito's, and Beehive Cafe.

Debbie is a sweetheart! The house was beautiful and we had a wonderful time! We hope to be back soon!

We had to change our travel plan a couple of times, and Jennifer was always very understanding, flexible, and did her best to work with us. There is a little "town square" only a block or so away from the house, which was a delightful surprise for us. You can find restaurants, CVS, and a few other charming little stores there. And of course, the house is an easy 5-6 min drive to Brown and RISD. Lovely, pleasant, and convenient place to stay. Would like to reserve again for our future college visits in the area. We had a lovely stay at Pelham Court! The location was the perfect spot to be near the main attractions around Thames Street and convenient to walk elsewhere. We loved having a private parking spot for our car as well. Bonus perk for being able to bring our dog with us! The hosts checked on us every evening if we needed anything—provided recommendations, and were super friendly and welcoming! Only downside to being so close to downtown is the loud noise from a nearby bar late at night on weekend. Overall, we enjoyed our stay in Newport/Pelham Court and hope to come visit again in future! This place was great! It was wonderful to stay in such a historic building. The apartment was very clean and tidy, the check-in/check-out instructions were very easy, and the host also provided suggestions for nearby restaurants. I definitely recommend this place!

Host was responsive and helpful, instructions were clear. The apartment was clean and very nice, we enjoyed eating dinner on the porch. It was easy to drive to downtown Providence and Gillette Stadium. It was easy to get to and a lot of space for parking (we all arrived mostly separately and there was space to park all 3 cars). Also, we were all very impressed by the shower and the water pressure lol. A great location and great Airbnb!! I would def recommend this spot and would come back! 😊

Alex’s place was a great stay to recharge and relax after the long days we had last week. I would highly recommended this place for anyone popping through New Bedford, or staying for a few days! The airbnb was spotless and quiet and clean. I will be renting here again when I need somewhere to stay when I’m back in New Bedford! Also very close to downtown all the coffee shops, and restaurants! Quiet neighborhood.

I cannot recommend Kelly’s place highly enough! Truly the perfect getaway spot. Close to everything and if you just want to relax you feel very much at home!

We love staying here. This was our 3rd or 4th year in a row that we stayed here. It is a great location so close to the beach and the inlet. The unit is always neat and clean and Courtney and Chris are great hosts.

This is a ground level apartment in an historic home just off Benefit Street, a prime location on Providence’s College Hill. Because of the sloped terrain, it might seem like a basement apartment from one side, but it has a garden entrance at the front door. If you can handle the steep streets in this hilly area, it’s a perfect location if you want to be within walking distance of Brown University, the Rhode Island School of Design, and Downtown Providence. I did not rent a car while staying here and never felt I needed one. Tall travelers should be aware that this dwelling has low ceilings by modern standards. That didn’t bother me in the slightest; in fact, it made the apartment feel more cozy. Nevertheless, visitors over six feet tall should be aware of this aspect and make an informed decision. The apartment has a warm, comforting esthetic with all sorts of art on the walls and books on the shelf, and both made a great background for video conferences using the robust wifi signal.
