There is a short distance to both illuminated trails and mountain areas for skiing and outdoor activities. The city center is about 10 min away by car. Although the public transport is good, we recommend a car.

The nature in the area is amazing and many of the most famous mountains in Sunnmørsalpane are right outside the door. Close to Ålesund, a perfect place to stay if you love mountain trips and want to explore the Sunnmørsalpane. From the beach it is not far to Geiranger or Hellesylt/Urc, and about 20 minutes from Ekornes Outdoor Pool. 200 meters to the ski lift/100m to the lake

Good for outdoor activities with short and long (mountain) trips in great nature. A perfect starting point for famous Jugend city of Ålesund, Geirangerfjord, Alnes Fyr and Trollstigen are just 1-1.5 hours drive away. Valldal climbing park is suitable for children on the way to Trollstigen. 15 km to outdoor swimming pool.

Welcome to Brunstad, in the middle of the Sunnmørsalps! The apartment is an excellent starting point for mountain trips both on foot in summer/autumn and on skis in winter/spring. It is also a short distance to Ålesund (about 1 hour by car) and famous areas such as Geiranger, Hellesylt, Norangsdalen, Valldal and Trollstigen. In winter, two different ski resorts are only 15 minutes away from the apartment; “Sunnmørsalpane Skiarena Fjellsætra” and “Strandafjellet Skisenter”.
