Hytta kan også vere base for å utforske regionen, med kort veg til jugendbyen Ålesund, vakre Geiranger eller fuglefjellet på Runde. Juv er mye mer enn bare hus og seng! Gamlestova var det opprinnelige gårdshuset og har samme fantastiske utsikt som Juvsøyna på Juv og Gamletunet på Juv. Fra himmelsenga i stua kan man våkne til soloppgangen og er man heldig følge en turistbåt på veg til Olden med øynene.
