Small cottage with charm on Øståsen in Vikersund. 40 min walk uphill from the parking lot. Here there is a simple life without electricity and water. The way up is a nice ride, a bit heavy for some lots. Recommend to go up before dark. Remember good shoes and warm clothes. On top of that, the prize awaits, flat and nice with lovely views:) Bunk bed in the kitchen, sofa bed in the living room. A good double bed in the bedroom, and a great furninova sofa-bed in the living room that can be turned into a 160 cm wide bed. Child friendly without stairs. Baby chair. Heating cables in all floors, fireplace and wood. Private sunny furnished patio. Parking space outside the garage with possibility of charging. There is about 15 minutes to walk or 3 minutes by bus to Asker city center. From Asker it is 20 min with train to Oslo S.

Lovely quick and attentive communication with Kristin. The stay lived up to the description and is just what it is. A cabin high up in the terrain with lots of tranquility and great views. The house is exactly as it looks but also nicely cleaned and you immediately feel at home. we chose to hike from the house up on public hiking routes a few km away.

The chalet is really ideally located, quiet and in nature. It is bright, spacious and well-equipped. The views are special. Very good communication with Anne Kistrine. It should be noted that the shower is outside but it did not bother us. We had a great hike in the surrounding area. We recommend the place for those who want to unwind while staying close to Oslo.

Martin was one of the most thoughtful and helpful hosts we've ever had. Communication was excellent, and he went above and beyond—helping with groceries, finding a toddler chair, assembling a trampoline just for our kids, and providing kick bikes. He was always willing to help in any way possible. The place was spotless, well-equipped, with a nice and spacious garden. Peaceful neighborhood next to a small forest and park, just 5–10 minutes' walk to the train station, and very convenient with a car. A truly pleasant stay for our family—highly recommended!

We stayed in this charming cabin over a weekend, surrounded by beautiful surroundings with great hiking opportunities. A quiet and beautiful place, about 5 minutes walk from the parking lot. The cabin was easy to find. The cabin was tidy and clean, two fireplaces that heated well, and it was quiet and peaceful both day and night. Highly recommended, if you are looking for a cozy place, with charming Norwegian nature and beautiful views, and sheep you can see directly from the window at the breakfast table, then this is the right place for you. The host was nice and responded quickly to messages. We will definitely stay here again!

We had a great stay in this beautiful house on a wonderful island. It was a bit challenging with 3 kids in the rain, but it was well worth it. The house and grounds are absolutely amazing and it's a great adventure getting there and exploring the island. Thanks to Christian for his help.
