Beachfront holiday rentals in Symi

Lilian and Nikolas are the best hosts I have ever met on air bnb! They are beautiful people who put so much love into the accomodation they provide. La Desirade is a magical place, in a peaceful spot away from all the busyness of the main port. With a little beach, shop and taverns near by. The locals were fantastic, offering my son lots of hugs! We were so comfortable in the accomodation, it is clean, very nicely decorated with small kitchen. Lil and Nik really thought of everything you could possibly need...even bringing my son little gifts! I travelled with my family who have various access needs, lil and nik went far above and beyond to ensure we got to and from the port and checking in to see if we were ok. We felt very safe and they really made what felt like a challange for my family possible! I am incredibly thankful for that and would return without question (if we can brave the long journey again!) Shall miss my morning coffee watching the sea. Thankyou both xx

Maria's house is right in the middle of town, just a few moments away from the centre of things (and, if you're staying at Easter, from the square where the ceremonies and dancing are performed; and the fireworks go bang). It is clean, and spacious, exactly like the photographs. Maria was friendly, responsive, and helpful. If you're on Symi, this is a fantastic place to stay.

Ioannis' property was just as the description & photos described. Location was just down from where 'Sea Dreams' ferry arrived. Evaggelia was happy for us to leave our bags downstairs at her apartment which is the other side of Ioannis' apartment, as we arrived before the apartment was cleaned. Absolute highlight was the balcony!!! We loved sitting after the sun went over the hill & before it appeared in the mornings!!🌄 Watching the various watercraft come & go each evening & morning was fabulous entertainment!⛵ Kitchen had plenty of crockery & adequate kitchen, though for our 2 person 2nt stay, we ate out everytime! Do yourself a favour & book a Poseidon round-island day cruise - absolutely amazing & the lunch was the best meal we've had in Greece!!! Will miss Ioannis' apartment everyday till we can return! Highly recommend!

Lolita's home has the most idyllic setting. So close to a beautifully secluded beach, with wonderful outdoor areas. You are forced to sit outside and admire the most beautiful views. From the most wonderful collection at the Port [by boat] from the kindest and most personal host, till collection and drop off, your time will be spent in the most wonderful, and capable hands. The hardest thing to do is leave. A stay much loved. Thank you Francesca, and Lolita.

Maroula’s house is beautiful and very comfortable for our family of five. Great bedrooms, wonderful views and fully equipped with everything we needed. Maroula is a wonderful host who met us from the boat and gave us excellent local dining tips. Would love to have stayed longer here.

This wasn’t just a beautiful oceanfront place to vacation but an experience of Greek life and culture. Michael and his wife Fotini create for their guests a five star experience that I would rate as one of the most unique, memorable and valued experiences I have had on Air B and B. The property is a free standing house that sits in front of Michael and Fotini’s home. It consists of two ample updated waterfront bedrooms with views, one bathroom, a kitchen and dining area. The house sits directly waterfront with only an infrequently used pedestrian path (mainly used by goats) separating you from your private lounging area on the bay with umbrella and cushions on comfortable sun beds. There is also a table waterfront as well as on the porch were Fotini delights in cooking homemade entrees that are available to order off a menu at extra cost. Drinks are also available. I recommend everything she cooks! Being served warmly and lovingly at your private vacation home is a level of luxury not usually found at this price point. But that and transport on Michael’s boat (at extra reasonable charge) is not only wonderful but helps greatly as the home is not adjacent to any street or near a grocery. It is possible to walk to one local restaurant and public beach area over a small section of rocky beach, but Michael helps you get your luggage and any groceries you want to the house by boat, easily. (If you can carry your bag easily rather than use luggage wheels you can also carry it to the property.) What might seem like inconvenience is actually more convenient and romantic and the reason why the property is so beautiful and peaceful. My father and I enjoyed our stay in this natural and quiet area and mixed it with trips into the main town and evening nightlife. If you choose to rent a car rent a very small one and you’ll have an easier time getting it close to the property due to narrow but very picturesque Greek streets. This area is now my favorite on the island. I will never forget a moonlight boat ride with Michael to Simi town and back, a lovely dinner (this time with them both too because we loved their company) at his waterfront, and the last day when Michael invited me to a local “name day” celebration at a Monastery. They also have an adorable Labrador dog Nireas, who will greet you outside with tenderness and much welcome. One last thought: the sun rises over the sea in front of this house. On a day when the water is very still and glassy your heart will rejoice!

Villa Penelope surpassed all our expectations, the welcome from Zoi and the beautiful location was perfect. The accommodation was perfect and the location and simplicity was just what we wanted .

Veľmi pekná vila s dobrou polohou od letiska aj kúsok od hlavného mesta Rodos na ostrove. Ubytovanie bolo veľmi čisté a okolie veľmi kľudné. Dá sa prejsť do 10 minút ku kamienkovej pláži. Boli sme ôsmi ľudia, pohodlne sme sa vyspali po 2 v každej izbe. Na pozemku je príjemný bazén aj pingpongový stôl. Priamo nad pozemkom lietajú stále lietadlá, keďže letisko je vzdialené do 3 km, zvykli sme si po dvoch dňoch. Hostitelia nám poradili 3 dňový itinerár na miesta, ktoré treba navštíviť na Rodose, taktiež nám pomohli s požičaním auta, ktoré nám dorazilo rovno na dom. Odporúčam, nemali sme žiaden problém a komunikácia s hostiteľmi bola bezproblémová.

I can’t say enough great things about Angleos! He was super responsive and so so helpful. He also was very understanding. When our toilet paper ran out, he came and filled it right away as well as helping me to find a place to order food from late at night. For transportation, he gave me a great recommendation for a taxi service that brought us to and from the airport as well as all around the island. Thank you again so much Angleos. As for the house, it was PERFECT! The outside is beautiful with an amazing pool and plenty of seating everywhere. We had 7 people and slept very comfortably inside with more than enough space for everyone. 10/10 would recommend this home and coming to Rhodes!

Pernille is a most welcoming host - friendly, very helpful, responsive and knowledgable about the local area, but also unobtrusive, although she lives next door. The studio was well equipped and spotlessly clean as was the pool and outside area. Initially Wifi wasnt great, but Pernille got it sorted and from then there were no issues! Unfortunately the washer wasnt working and the engineer advised a new one. It was no hardship to handwash clothing that needed freshening up and Pernille made her own machine available. The location was perfect for us, close to the beach and 15 min (quite) level walk to the centre of the village with its bars, resturants, amenities and bus stop. Buses to Rhodes town Monday - Friday were frequent - Saturday and Sunday less so. Kremasti is on the fight path, but we soon got used to that. This was our first time visiting Rhodes, indeed Greece. Kremasti, for us was perfect as was Pernille's studio, we really enjoyed our holiday - we WILL be back! :)

Michale’s was a great host and worked over time to help us through some scheduling issues. Villas was beautiful and away from the hustle and bustle of the down town. Nice to get away from the touristy areas and enjoy the beach.

Das Apartment war wunderschön und direkt am Meer. Der Kontakt mit Mike war super. Er war bei Fragen jedweder Art hilfreich, hat tolle Tipps gegeben und war bei allen Anfragen flexibel. Meine Freundin hat sich sehr über die Sweat treats gefreut, die er uns geschenkt hat. Definitiv eine Empfehlung!

We had an amazing time at Melina’s place. It was very clean, and well equipped with everything we needed. We came with a bike, so it was a short walk through the village to get there, with a car it would be a bit more, but very enjoyable. We where very happy we stayed there and not closer to the port. Melina is an amazing host, very helpful, and extremely likable, she went over and beyond to make us feel welcomed. Totally recommend the place!

Wir haben bei François und Dominique einen Familienurlaub mit unserer 13jährigen Tochter und unserem 16jährigen Sohn verbracht. Ohne Übertreibung ist das Haus eines der schönsten, geschmackvollsten und komfortabelsten, welches wir auf Symi kennengelernt haben (wir haben schon in fünf weiteren Unterkünften gewohnt). Die ruhige, aber sehr zentrale Lage mit Blick über den Hafen, die wunderschönen Sitz- und Entspannungsmöglichkeiten rund um das Haus, die Ausstattung, die Aufteilung der Zimmer, die vielen Rückzugsmöglichkeiten - kein Wunsch blieb offen! Das Haus ist sehr stilvoll eingerichtet, man gelangt zu ihm direkt aus dem Yachthafen über eine Treppe - der Aufstieg dauert weniger als fünf Minuten: perfekte Lage! Besondere Empfehlung: der Fußweg zur nächsten Bucht Nimborio, der vom Haus aus losgeht… traumhaft! Die Hausbesitzer und eine sehr aufmerksame Ansprechpartnerin vor Ort waren ständig erreichbar und haben uns mit vielen Tipps versorgt. Absolute Emfehlung, wir kommen wieder!

C’était la deuxième fois que nous retournions à la Villa Jasmine avec toujours autant de plaisir. Le lieu est superbe, calme et à la vue imprenable. La baie de Pedi offre un charme authentique et différent du port de Symi. Merci à Carolina, Adriana et Nicholas pour leur gentillesse et leurs attentions.

We absolutely loved staying here - we were with our 2 toddler children and they could play safely and happily in the small courtyard while we simply sat and took in the beautiful view from the balcony. Before breakfast we could go downstairs and dive into the clear water of the harbour for a morning dip - great bars and restaurants in the immediate vicinity. Loads of room in the homely and traditional feeling apartment.

This stay was fantastic, the perfect place to stay in Pedi. Communication was great, and being offered a ride to the apartment from the ferry port was very handy. The place was clean, peaceful, as described, and had everything you need, everything has been thought out very well. Very handy to have a washing machine and ironing board. The sun loungers were great for sitting outside. You can walk to two local beaches, and it's also very convenient for the local store, cafe, restaurant, and the bus stop. We got the bus to the Secret Garden restaurant and walked back - fabulous food and cocktails. There are very cute local cats of course as well! We put water out for them which they seemed to appreciate. The temperature in early October was very nice. We rented electric bikes which was great for getting to Ano Symi and beyond. Amazing views from the hill into the main town, especially at sunset. We enjoyed our stay so much, and were sad to leave! Very much hope we can visit again.

דירונת מתוקה וקסומה, שווה את הטיפוס אליה. מיקום טוב לטיולים גם בכיוון ההר וגם בכיוון הנמל. כפי שכתבו אורחים רבים- האתגר הוא למצוא את המקום בפעם הראשונה. אמנם מרקוריוס שלח הנחיות, אך הן אינן מספיקות- המפה היא תצלום של Google-earth וקשה לנווט באמצעותה, התצלומים של הרחובות מאוד עזרו, אך הם לא מספיקים, יש ביניהם פערים שקשה לגשר עליהם לבד. כדאי מאוד לשלוח סירטון של הדרך. גם העובדה שניתן לתקשר עם בעל הבית רק דרך אתר ההזמנות מאוד מסרבלת את העניין. מרגע שהגענו- התאהבנו בדירה ונהננו מאוד מן השהות בה.

The apartment is beautiful and the view is even more stunning in person. The apartment is immaculately clean, functional and has everything you need and nothing you don’t. Ioannis and his wife are extremely kind hosts very helpful, they also have a gorgeous dog called Ben. Ioannis was so friendly and nothing was a problem, he provided extra towels and coffee, gave us restaurant and outing suggestions. An amazing property at a great price. The walk to town took 10 mins, to the beach approx 25 mins. The walk home after a few glasses of retsina took a little longer but we enjoyed getting our steps in every day

A simply sensational stay at “On The Rocks” in Symi. The accommodation is exactly as the listing describes, and is so very beautiful, peaceful and remarkable. To open the shutters onto the view of Nimborio bay, the waves gently lapping against the wall below, was a glorious start to each day. A drink on the terrace/platform as the sun went down, the water all around us, was a glorious end to each day. Being away from the bustle of Symi town, but a gentle 30 minute walk to it (we rented e-bikes - a fun 8 minute cycle!) is a real blessing. And our own sunbeds and swimming platform meant no need to travel to a beach each day. Perfect! A very proactive, helpful host. A great stay. A beautiful place.
