There are limited cooking facilities but a 7 minute drive takes you to Green Island where you'll find Fresh Choice, McDonald's, Biggies pizza and other takeaway shops. Popular Brighton Beach and cafe is a 5 minute drive away, the CBD 20 minutes and Dunedin Airport is also a 20 minute drive.

Stay in a tree house, nestled among the native trees and birds, with your own private deck, views looking over the taieri mouth river and ocean and straight to Moturata Island which is a distinctive landmark and can be walked to at low-tide. the Studio is heated by heat pump, double glazing, very cosy warm space. access to property does have a steep driveway but the view is worth it. During our full-time travels we tend to seek out lodging that is unique, and the old converted Sunday school hall/now glasshouse was just that! Tessa is an exceptional host. We spent a wonderful evening with her learning about the transformation of this beautiful space. Furnishings are stylish and very comfortable. Location is in a quiet residential neighborhood, just a 5-10 minute drive to the St. Clair beach area, downtown Dunedin or the start of the scenic Otago Peninsula drive.

We had a fantastic stay. The house was super tidy and clean, and it truly felt like staying in our own home. The host provided everything we needed, including milk, tea, and all the essential accessories. If you enjoy cooking, the kitchen is fully stocked with quality cookware. The decoration is cozy and artistic, and all the bedding and sleepwear were of high standard and very comfortable. The house is located on a farm, but the environment is very clean and peaceful. Every morning, I could smell the fresh scent of wood while standing in the garden. It was quiet and relaxing, far enough from the road to feel completely at ease. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable and refreshing getaway. Thank you Frances. You are such a gracious host, always responsive and incredibly polite. You made our stay so much easier by providing thoughtful support and many conveniences.

This is such an awesome spot. It feels very secluded but is very easy to get to and is close to lots of other awesome spots. Waking up to the view and birdsongs is such a treat. Definitely recommended and you have to give the outdoor bath a go - well worth the effort!
