Cottage holiday rentals in Taillebourg

While traveling for a conference in Niort, we stayed 5 days in Fabien's Airbnb. A small haven of peace where we were able to enjoy the pool and the terrace in the evening. The accommodation is spacious and pleasant, 20 minutes from Niort. Fabien is very welcoming and responsive to make the stay as pleasant as possible. I would highly recommend it

Great value for money, the location is great (near a supermarket 5 min drive, near Royan and Saintes), this house will take you away from the city. Beware of having 1 bathroom for 10 people (but we know this from the reservation) Otherwise, really in line with expectations, I recommend it!

Everything is relaxing. The old stone mill and its green environment for the eyes, the sound of the river and the birdsong for the ears, the smell of trees in bloom and cut grass. The mill is a 5-10 minute walk to all the amenities that the small medieval town of Pons offers. Louise and Michael welcomed us warmly, caring about our well-being in their home while preserving our privacy. We had a great weekend at Moulin Chaillou, we can only recommend it. We had the pleasure of staying in one of Meg and Mark’s gîtes with our 2 teenage daughters for 4 nights. I had no hesitation in booking the gite having seen how beautiful it looked on the website and reading the glowing reviews both on the website and on Airbnb. On arrival we received a warm welcome from Meg and Mark who showed us around the gîte and the grounds. The gîte itself is just beautiful. It is absolutely spotless and exceptionally well equipped. The beds were super comfortable made even better by the high quality bedding. The grounds and gardens are very well kept and the pool is stunning with great views of the surrounding countryside - it was a big hit as was the hot tub in our private garden! To top it off, Meg and Mark are the most fantastic warm, friendly and welcoming hosts but always respectful of our privacy. Thank you Meg and Mark for a truly memorable few days and for your fantastic hospitality. Chez Lussaud is an absolute gem and is a credit to you!

It was a really nice week in the gîte rosiers. We enjoyed very much the nice surroundings and fun activities nearby. Super friendly hosts, they were always ready for us for help, fun tips and a chat here and there. It is definitely recommended!!

We had a fabulous week in this little hidey hole in a beautiful location with wonderful hosts. Alicia’s cooking is to die for along with Michael’s burgers and both Alicja and Michal were attentive, helpful and happy to look after us. Would thoroughly recommend.

Great stay at Sandrine. The house is very nice and well-equipped. It is located on a quiet street with the beach a few minutes by bike. We'll be happy to go back!

What an amazing place! Lots of space, lush greenery and very well-maintained park. Beautiful stone buildings, authentic, Idyllic calm, near a superb mill accompanied by animals (birds, chevres, rabbits, sheep, guinea pig...) and activities (kayaking, trampoline, pétanque, foosball, billiards, table tennis, books...) . We had a wonderful stay, in the heart of nature. The owners are very discreet and attentive to the slightest need, very kind. The accommodation is very well equipped, spacious, clean and comfortable. Thanks again for a fabulous family stay that we will not forget!

Amanda and Robin were great hosts and the gite was gorgeous. We loved the quiet surroundings and a quick drive to a couple of great restaurants. Our 2 little dogs were made very welcome and enjoyed the secure garden. We didn’t use the pool but it looked very inviting. Lovely stay, especially being invited to the tango evening. I would recommend Stéphanie's home, it's cozy and the cleanliness is impeccable. It has everything you need and the environment is quiet. Stéphanie and her daughter told me well and were very responsive and friendly. Ideal for a weekend away as a couple and in addition, pets are allowed 😊

Sylvie and Luc are a lovely really welcoming couple. Their tiny home was well designed and perfect for our stay in Saintes. It is well located to Saintes and the surrounding countryside.The setting was absolutely lovely and very relaxing ,...with two delightfull black sheep!.... we hope to return. The fresh flowers were much appreciated and we definitely recommend.

That's a truly lovely place. As if you were a donkey skin in its little cottage. Much better equipped of course. It's also Disneyland for dogs. Valentin and Pauline are charming which does not spoil anything. We'll be happy to go back!

We would definitely recommend to others and would stay again.

This is a totally beautiful gitte that is even better in the flesh than the photo's. A super tasteful space with everything you need. Nice and private with a delightful courtyard for eating or sitting in the sun. Unfortunately it was too cold to swim but the pool area was so pretty. It was so relaxing.. Its very near for many coastal places to visit, Royan being our favourite with its amazing architecture. The host Pierric was very charming and helpful and made us feel at home. I would definitely recommend this beautiful place and hopefully will return at some point.

Our stay was great! Derk and his wife were very attentive and warm hosts, who welcome us and explained all about the region. The house corresponds to the pictures: it is beautiful, comfortable and cozy, has all the needed appliances for a pleasant stay in the countryside. Bathroom and shower are really good quality, living room extremely comfortable with a nice woodfire and the TV is actually larger than you can tell from the pictures. The garden is the highlight of the house, with a stunning view and a relaxing outside area for meals. The villages in the region are nice, with little shops, restaurants and sight seeing. Great recommendation for relaxing vacations! We would definitely like to stay in the Gite again in the future :) (and we love Ramsi, the golden retriever). Thank you Derk and family, we had a great time!

Benjamin and Lucie, have furnished a charming little house with absolute comfort, household equipment, bedding, interior and exterior with taste and we enjoyed our stay with absolute calm in the middle of nature, hosts with discretion, but with very good communication, so as not to disturb, I highly recommend this rental.
