Holiday rentals with lake access in Taipalsaari

We spent a weekend here with a group of 12 friends and had an absolutely amazing time in these stunning surroundings. The place is beautifully designed and offers a wide range of activities for all tastes. We especially enjoyed the sauna with its gorgeous scenic view — a perfect way to relax and unwind. We also did yoga on the terrace, made great use of the fully equipped kitchen for group cooking, and had a blast playing yard games outside. This place truly has everything you need for a memorable getaway, whether you’re looking to relax or stay active. Highly recommended!

Wonderful farm setting. It was nice to take a dip in the beach sauna at the end of a long cycling trip. Mummola was nostalgic and in peace, I highly recommend.

Very nice place to stay! We stayed 3 nights and we loved it! Perfect for some relax with a lot of walkable routes, the sauna in the house and right on the lake. The only problem we had was with the wifi, who wasn’t really working. We can definitely recommend this place :)

The stay was even better than we expected from the photos. There was plenty of room for eight and the setting was great. Great scenery right from the deck and it's easy to take a dip straight from the sauna. Highly recommended!

Lovely place right by the lake. Great sauna and easy to swim in the lake. Kitchen has everything needed for cooking. Bed is super comfortable and the views from inside area amazing. Very beautiful, peaceful and quiet location, would definitely stay again!

Beautiful timber house in the woods, with own access to Lake Saimaa. Though close to Mikkeli centre and all of its facilities. We enjoyed sitting on the veranda, watching the great view. Go there, you will not regret it.

A friendly and thoughtful welcome. Great location and super clean apartment🌹 It's good that the first floor, because the building doesn't have an elevator. A big plus is also a free parking spot near the apartment. Also a big plus for coffee and tea👍👍. Very thoughtful. Good towels in the bathroom and a set of dishes in the kitchen. Good and wide bed + extra sofa bed. A warm recommendation from the host.

Very beautiful apartment in a great location. The view from the window and balcony to Olavinlinna Castle made the place a fairytale. Everyone matched the description. Very clean and well-equipped. A dedicated parking spot is a plus. Linda responded to inquiries immediately and everything went great. This is where I'd like to stay again.

Central,great location, everything you need, and even something extra was found. Great views from the balcony. We had to pick up a little parking spot probably because of the opera. We'll probably come back another time.

Our stay at Emmy's cottage was perfect. A wonderful place in a truly beautiful part of the world. The cottage had everything that you would want of a Finnish mökki holiday, and was the perfect base to explore Savonlinna and the whole Saimaa region. It made for a memorable experience. We spent a lovely cottage weekend enjoying the outdoors, swimming, and sauna. The stay was a short drive from services like a grocery store. There was a storm over the weekend and we were at the cottage for almost a day without electricity, but Markus handled it in the best way and without asking.

Juha's cottage is a traditional, Finnish summer cottage. The place is great, especially we enjoy the good steam and the evening sun.

Simply fantastic. The house, the lake, the sauna, just everything. You get what is on the pictures and super nice hosts. We were also super lucky with the weather and were therefore able to use the terrace around the house a lot.

Perfect accommodation for a family. Children were taken care of with toys, high chairs and other small lovely details. Attentive and easy communication. It was a cozy and safe atmosphere, as if I had gone on vacation to my own cottage. Thank you, Heli!

The place is even better than the pictures. Beautiful nature and peace of mind make you relax. The kids found frogs and lizards in the yard and were excited. The water is warm and from the end of the dock is a good jumping. Be sure to bring small floats as the beach is deep. There are plenty of outdoor games and things to do in the yard. Inside is a fierce collection of movies to watch. The kids and adults were very comfortable. We already miss back!
