Holiday rentals with lake access in Tallahassee

The house was perfect for a family weekend. Plenty of space for meals together, watching football, and enjoying the backyard. Publix, a few restaurants, and a few workout options are a few minutes drive. The neighborhood is great for walking or running. Our host was thoughtful and easy to communicate with!

House is newly renovated. I am very particular with bathrooms and this is very clean. Bed very comfortable. Best thing we like about the place is its proximity to St Marks Bike Trail. 10 min bike ride from the house to the trail.

We enjoyed our stay, The atmosphere was tranquil and we will definitely book again ! We made a short drive to panacea and enjoyed a great meal at the Trident restaurant as well ! Great experience with our host !

We had the most relaxing time and loved being right on the river. It was a beautiful setting and had everything we needed. They had kayaks available and we really enjoyed our time spent on the water. The kitchen had everything we needed and they were plenty of linens. I would definitely stay there again.

Very nice and quiet place…out of hustle and bustle of the traffic and noises. Owner communicated with me very well.

Beautiful home with a small backyard that my dog and I enjoyed. Great place to walk a dog , met some neighbors and they were friendly as well as their dogs. Plenty of wildlife, I saw a fox, deer and so many species of birds around the pond out front of the property. I felt safe and enjoyed my stay a lot. I’d recommend this place to everyone.

We were in the area for our twins’ graduation from FSU and wanted to stay somewhere we could enjoy each other without city distractions. This place was everything we could have hoped for and more. Also, it had the most comfortable bed, pillows, and linens we’ve experienced at any rental! Many thanks to the owners for their hospitality!

When we pulled up to Fin n’ Tonic (great name!) we took a breath and both said, WOW! We said wow a lot while we were there. What an incredible place! The house is brand new with an incredible floor plan, open and spacious with high ceilings and with so many great places, inside and out, to chill. Very nicely decorated. There wasn’t one thing that we needed that wasn’t thought of already and was at our fingertips. We have ended up bringing a lot of items with us on trips because of needed items not being there. It’s can be ridiculous! None of that stuff was needed this time. The host GG, should be an Airbnb instructor. She’s fantastic in every way! Attentive, friendly, and kind. Now, the most amazing and incredible thing about this Airbnb is the lake and the view from the house. It’s like a lake you might find in the Northeast or Northwest. It was like a getaway to a far away place. We loved every minute there! We keep thinking about it and talking about it. We’ll return soon!

It's a great location and Jack is very responsive. The room was very clean but also very small. Much smaller than a typical hotel room and I don't recommend it for two people but all in all it was a nice stay.

This is a charming old apartment in a complex that was turned into condos some years ago. The exterior of the complex is misleadingly dingy--concrete block with water stains from a few window units. It's bohemian, with hardwood floors, two balconies, old furniture, and a lot of character. The building does not front the street, so there is a green courtyard between it and the buildings in front of it that has walkways, huge live oaks, and a bench. You can hear birdsong most of the time from inside. A lake is within walking distance, as is an organic grocery. Landlord was out of state and relied on the previous rental tenant to clean the apartment, so it was not pristine. The landlord now has a housekeeper to clean it after every stay. Some necessities were missing--dish towels, a toilet scrubber, a bath rug--but the landlord was EXTREMELY responsive and everything was supplied. He even had safety hooks put on the screen doors! You will love it if you are artsy and want peace.

It was a great place to stay for the days. Everything you needed was there, and nothing was missing. We felt comfortable Thank you.

Great little spot for a quick stay! Our lodging accommodations had changed last minute so we were very pleased when we stumbled upon Jack’s Airbnb. It’s quaint and quiet- the location is definitely what makes it great. We enjoyed walking around the lake and sitting out on the patio. For the price this was a good find.
