Holiday rentals with breakfast in Tangalle Beach

Me and my family had an amazing stay at Isana. Our stay at the house was everything we wanted and more. We were 14 people in the ages 2 years - 58 and we all enjoyed our stay. Two things that we didn’t expect but really appreciated was the fantastic beach that we loved, beautiful and pretty much empty apart from the fishermen. The other thing was the amazing staff. Manny and his family have taken so good care of us. Apart from them doing their jobs excellent we also connected with them on a personal level that will make us miss them a lot. The manager treated us great as well but he wasn’t with us as much as Manny and the rest. The food was simple but very good. If you want to switch it up a bit some days there are other options on the beach. The house is big and fresh. The rooms doesn’t have ac but the way the house was built we didn’t need it. My family and I had a memorable stay in Hiriketiya. Our host was in touch with us via text 2 weeks before our stay and he remained extremely easy to contact throughout. Not only were we greeted with a smile, tasty juice and beautiful villa, our host also organised day trips for us with short notice. The Villa is a simple walk to the iconic beach, big selection of restaurants and bars. The big beds in well air conditioned rooms were comfy and the house was very quiet and peaceful. I highly recommend this villa and host!!

Really cool place to stay. The view from the room is incredibely beautiful! It is little bit far from beach, but not so bad. The breakfast was really delicious and for a reasonoble price - not included. I really recommend to stay here, because the place and the room is so cool.

First of all, I would like to thank the service staff, they are very helpful and friendly. The villa and furniture are very beautiful and elegant, one of the most beautiful villas we have visited, but there are some comments. The price is very high compared to the area, and there is a very, very large problem with flies, and I think it is because of the adjacent land, which is full of dirt. Also, the curtains in the bedrooms do not block the sun well, and there is no air conditioning in the sitting area or in the kitchen.

We loved staying at Shaun’s villa! Out of the eight places we stayed in during our trip to Sri Lanka, this was our favorite. The location, the villa, and being so close to the ocean was just what we needed. The villa was clean, well looked after, and felt really welcoming. Whenever we had a question, we got a quick and helpful reply, which made everything super easy. We also really liked the great food just across the street, which we could easily order to the villa. And being close to The Doctor’s House was a big plus – fun weekend market and tasty dinners in the evenings. We’re a family of four and felt super comfortable here. Would definitely recommend and hope to come back one day!

All good! It's a house by the main road with direct access to the beach. You can literally wake up, walk out the door and reach the sea in a few seconds. The mattress is one of the most comfortable I tried in Sri Lanka. There's a table and chairs in the room in case you need to do some work (wifi speed is ok, ~25mbps). The terrace also has laying chairs, a table and a small garden around. There is a resort just next door and the dividing fence is waist high so not so private if there are some people around. I found the place to be too noisy during the day (since it's right by the main road where buses and trucks are constant), but it was fine during the night as the traffic slowed down. The hosts are very welcoming and friendly. At some point the wifi wasn't working and they immediately fixed the issue.

Lakshmans nephew was very helpful with all our needs. The house was clean and tidy and spacious. Everything we needed was there. One bed was very firm and in the other was more soft. The night was quiet for sleeping. The location could have been better, but, it was close enough for walking distance to shops and beach etc. Very good value for price. All in all we had a great stay and would recommend.

Ruwan is a very dear person who goes out of her way to make sure you don't miss anything. The place looked exactly like the pictures. Everything was very clean. There was a fridge full of free water. Breakfast times were by arrangement, which we found very pleasant. Breakfast could have varied a bit more (there was the same thing every day). Ruwan organized transportation to the next accommodation at the Uber price. And the driver was also very nice. We took a trip to the turtles and Galle along with Ruwan, which I had honestly imagined a little differently. I thought he was like a tourist guide who also gives us information, but he just drove us. I found the price to be a bit too high for that. But it was still very nice and a good idea. We do not regret having spent 4 nights at Ruwan's and can recommend it with a clear conscience. I'd love to go there again.

The place is located 50 m from the top 5 best beaches of Sri Lanka. You can simply walk and enjoy it. The room has AC and hot water, two big beds with very comfortable mattress. The area is very tranquil. At night one day dogs were barking but one hard shout put them in order :) The food was tasty and breakfast was on flexible timing. Sandaru is an excellent host who was accommodating all our need and some extra. We will be back for sure.

The place was exceptionally clean with plenty of seating space, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. It’s a short 200-meter walk to the beach, which was quite manageable. The highlight for us was the delicious Sri Lankan breakfast, especially the flavorful fish curry—it was outstanding!

What a find! Sisiras pkVe is a walk down the driveway and onto the south end entrance to Kudawella beach. Awesome balcony...breezes and a Seaview.. absolutely will be listening to the waves as you sleep at night. Sisira and his wife are wonderful hearts, have an amazing young family in the downstairs part if the house, and Harshanis authentic so tasty, plentiful Sri Lankan cuisine is made and delivered to your rooms with love. A quiet location atop one of the best sand bottom beaches in South Lanka. Good for learn to surf swimming and long peaceful walks Sisi Place is 5 mins scooter to Hiri or Dikwella, 20 mins to Unakuruwa and Talalla. With the 2 bedrooms upstairs sparking clean bathroom and massive balcony, this place would suit long stay to also enjoy Harshanis meals, or small groups and families. I can't say enough about Sri Lankan hospitality and you'll find it exceptional here. Sisi Place is a well underpriced gem. Highly recommended 👌

We had a lovely time at Lova’s place! The accommodation was beautiful and clean. Short reminder that there is no AC but with the open windows and fan the heat was manageable. The atmosphere was amazing, waking up to the sun and sounds of the forest was a dream. The location was a little remote, we rented a scooter to get to the beaches (takes ca 25 min to Hiriketiya, 15 min to Tangalle).

I had a wonderful month-long stay at Ceylonza. Located just outside the bustling commercial area of Mirissa, it offered a perfect balance of convenience for grocery shopping, easy access to the beach, and nearby take-out options. The atmosphere was cozy, peaceful, and comfortable. Lala provided me with a private kitchen, allowing me to cook my own meals and enjoy morning tea. The spacious and clean bathroom featured both cold and warm showers. My room was quiet and pleasant, and I felt safe even at night, especially with Lala often having friends in the patio upstairs. He was being readily available to address any questions or concerns I had throughout my stay. Stutiyi 🙏🏻

When we arrived, the whole family welcomed us very kindly with a delicious fruit juice and the luggage was already brought upstairs in no time. The rooms and kitchen are on the 1st floor by a great garden with all kinds of bird voices. We were always downstairs at breakfast and the family read every wish from our eyes. If you want to go to the beach or into town, you can walk 200 meters to Haustrasse and stop a tuck tuck, if you are lucky you will also catch one right in front of the property. All in all super nice hosts and a really great property

Really great accommodation nearby to beautiful quiet beaches - as a female solo traveler I always felt safe. Manju’s food is also the most delicious food I’ve eaten in Sri Lanka, would return just for this!

Kirinuga is a nice place to relax and a perfect break from the city. It has a beautiful garden where you can relax in some outside beds. Renate and her crew are really friendly and will help you if needed with anything. The breakfast is included and you have a few options and all of them are really delicious! The fruits we ate there were one of our best fruits on the whole trip.

We stayed 4 nights, very nice accommodation, beautiful kitchen, everything is functional. Very good welcome from Nisha, always smiling and ready to do you a favor. She even adapted the French breakfast which is hearty ... she booked a scooter for us, bus, tuk tuk nearby, small convenience store, very good cheap restaurant 5 minutes away on the beach. We highly recommend.

Donis place is one of our favourite places in Sri Lanka! We even came back a second time because we just love it here. The room is so clean and beautifully decorated, the bathroom as well and it smells so good:)) The best is doni herself. She made us an incredible breakfast every morning and let us use the washing machine for free! Also she is such a kind and caring person. She made us really feel at home! The area itself is really quiet and we could rent a scooter from doni to explore the beautiful beaches! I’m sure we will be back a third time if we can :))

We had a great stay. The location is an easy walk to the main beach and restaurant strip. The pool is a great addition and as it appears in the photos. The room was spacious, very clean and comfortable. We would definitely recommend staying here!
