Host, Christina was very welcoming, responsive, cooperative,honest and helpful. The Home is so marvelous, clean and very calm, If one is to desire a nice place for private retreat,, Christina's place is perfect for you and highly recommended.

Great place to connect with nature and local community. We met three chameleons at the property, about five on the adjacent road, as well as plenty of local children fascinated and scared at the same time of our dog :) Pizzeria Mama Mia is about 45 min walk and is quite outstanding.

Das Anwesen ist super schön. Durch den grossen Garten hat man seine Privatsphäre und ist trotzdem in der Nähe von Restaurants und Aktivitäten. Am besten war das Aussenbett ❤️ mit einem wahnsinns Blick über Strand und Ozean. Wir haben viel Zeit auch dem Balkon verbracht und einfach genossen. Rama und Tatu haben sich liebevoll um uns gekümmert und bei Fragen sofort reagiert 😊 Für alle die gerne etwas Ruhe haben möchten aber trotzdem mitten drin sein möchten absolut empfehlenswert

Absolutely loved our stay here, the home was exactly like the photos if not better, we were welcomed with them most helpful, hands on, amazing staff. The location as well was perfect right on the beach and close to everywhere in Jambiani, would recommend this place if you are planning to come to Zanzibar !!

I recently had the pleasure to stay at OYA Guest House with my husband and our two children, and I must say it was the best place we stayed during our trip to Tanzania, both in terms of service and facilities. The guest house boasts a modern, minimalist design that stands out from other accommodations. The rooms were comfortable, well-equipped with all the essentials, and impeccably clean. The garden area is truly a highlight—a perfect spot to relax and unwind amidst stunning vegetation. We particularly enjoyed our evenings around the fire pit with a glass of wine; it was absolutely magical! The staff at OYA Guest House went above and beyond to ensure every aspect of our stay was perfect. A special thank you to Jackline, who was absolutely wonderful! It’s clear that the team genuinely cares about their guests and is dedicated to creating a memorable and enjoyable experience. In conclusion, OYA Guest House is a hidden gem that I cannot recommand more!!

Die Villa ist mit sie sehr viel Stil und Liebe eingerichtet. Die Besitzerin Patrizia sehr hilfsbereit und wirklich stilvoll. Die Gemälde an der Wand, die Bettwäsche aus Italien, die Details in der Villa und dann der Koch, der denn noch das Frühstück vorbereitet – es ist einfach nur zum Wohl fühlen und super!

The place was absolutely stunning. When we arrived, the washing machine was not running properly, so the house manager Mtui stayed up for at least 3 hours late in the night to hand wash our clothes and hang dry them. Mtui was amazing and always available to help with anything. Cedric and Sarah were incredibly responsive messaging us and helped make our stay wonderful and accommodate all of our needs. The bedrooms were incredibly spacious, as was the whole house. Overall, the place is absolutely stunning and the staff will go above and beyond to make your stay amazing, and I couldn't recommend it enough.

Benard is truly a Superhost! From the moment i arrived, he made feel welcome and ensured i had everything needed for a comfortable stay. His attention to detail, communication, and hospitality were exceptional. The space was spotless and well-equipped, and his thoughtful touches made all the difference.

Sarah’s place was perfect. It was comfortable plenty of room for the two of us easy to get to local restaurants and swimming at the yacht club. Am so thankful for the opportunity to stay there. Can’t wait to return.

I had an amazing stay at Raphael’s place! It’s easily one of the best Airbnbs I have ever been to in Africa. The apartment is fully equipped with everything you need — a gas stove for quick and easy cooking, a washing machine at your fingertips, and fast, reliable Wi-Fi. What really stood out was the hot water — a rare find in many Tanzanian Airbnbs! With just a simple switch, you can enjoy the bath of a lifetime. The location is perfect, right next to the biggest university in Tanzania, making it super convenient. The space is clean, cozy, and thoughtfully designed. Raphael is a fantastic host — responsive, friendly, and helpful. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for comfort, convenience, and a touch of luxury during their stay!

Great location near Ston Town. Host is extremely reposnsive and willing to support with ideas and things to do. One of the best hosts on all Airbnb i had all over the world.

Nous avons apprécié notre séjour dans ce logement, conforme à la description. Petit bémol pour l’emplacement, car très peu touristique et donc sans commodités. En revanche, les hôtes ont été très très accueillants et toujours arrangeants pour que nous nous sentions bien. Que ce soit en s’occupant de nous trouver des taxis pour nous déplacer, ou pour nous cuisiner des plats (très bon d’ailleurs ☺️). Merci !

Un seul mot : exceptionnel On a passé un très bon séjour dans l’appartement de Digna. - arrangeante sur les horaires (mon arrivée à 4h am) ; - toujours disponible ; - localisation facile (pour les taxis) - bien sécuriser avec un concierge. Détail important : pour la première fois j’ai eu droit à des courses pour le petit déjeuner durant mon séjour, ça c’était top. Je recommande à 200%

Als Medizinstudentin war ich im Rahmen meines Pjs erneut in dem Airbnb von Dr. Thuraiya. Ich war ja schon bereits die letzten Aufenthalte sehr begeistert gewesen, doch dieses Mal hat mich vorallem der Umgang mit Problemen sehr positiv beeindruckt. Unsere Klimaanlage hatte nicht funktioniert und noch am selben Abend ist trotz Wochenende jemand vorbeigekommen, um sie zu reparieren. Die Kommunikation funktioniert wirklich ausgezeichnet und bei Problemen wird man rund um die Uhr unterstützt. Der komplette staff ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit.

Eine wirklich süße Unterkunft. Die Besitzer sind super freundlich und hilfsbereit, die Lage ist sehr ruhig und friedlich. Wir waren insgesamt 8 Tage hier zu Gast und haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt. Das Frühstück war jeden Tag anders, immer mit einem Teller frischem Obst und gutem Kaffee. Das Wasser in der Dusche ist etwas salzig aber nichts worüber man sich beschweren sollte. Die Zimmer sind schön eingerichtet und sehr sauber. Alles in allem waren wir sehr zufrieden und kommen gern wieder.

The breakfast is delicious, and everything you could need for a comfortable stay is thoughtfully provided. For the price, this place offers incredible value—it's an absolute gem and one of the best Airbnb experiences I have had. We miss you and Zanzibar - thank you so much

What a stunning location and place to stay!! The staff are super attentive and friendly, the location is right on the beach and the layout gives you privacy as the resort is small which is great. Awesome beach bar and restaurant that serves great meals and drinks throughout the day while you relax overlooking the beautiful Jambiani beach. Do yourself a favour and book this spot if you can…it won’t let you down! This find has been one of our highlights of our trip… we will definitely be back and highly recommend staying here. Treat yourself as you won’t be disappointed 😊

Simba und sein gesamtes Team haben sich zu jeder Zeit um einen gekümmert, egal ob es mitten in der Nacht war oder ganz in der Früh. Die Unterkunft hat mit die beste Lage auf Zanzibar, da man sich ganz entspannt am nahegelegenen Strand Sonnen kann oder doch abends mal zum ausgehen in die nächste Stadt fahren kann. Die Unterkunft bietet alles was man braucht. Das Essen ist super. Simba sorgt sich nicht nur um seine Gäste sondert hilft seinen Mitarbeitern bei jedem Anlass, das kriegt man nicht überall. Wir freuen uns solche herzlichen Menschen kennenden zu dürfen.

Catherine went above and beyond! We stayed for a night during our flight layover. She picked us up and dropped us off from the airport. She allowed us to stayed later than regular check-out until time for our flight. She even taught how to cook a local dish and gave me some spice to take home and try cooking it! I would absolutely recommend staying here!

Jeg vil helt klart anbefale dette sted til dem der gerne vil holde ferie masser af ro og samtidig have mulighed for at bade, spille spil på stranden og hygge sig med en pool. Der er virkelig god service stemningen af dig og folk er virkelig søde. Vi skal i hvert fald helt sikkert tilbage en dag!
