The Stone House is located in a mountain village at the foot of Utsukushigahara, in Nagano Prefecture. It is a genuine stone building made of natural stone and a thatched roof, which is rare in Japan, and it took 12 years to complete the cottage. The stones that came from the site during construction were processed one by one and piled up by the owners themselves, creating a space with a exotic feel with the natural expressions of the stones. The surrounding area is a mountain village with private homes, but the large grounds are surrounded by trees, and in the garden where you can feel the nature of the seasons, birds chirp and the wind blows through the mountains. You may forget about time and place in another world that you reach by climbing a hill. There is also a main house made of stone and a small round thatched hut on the premises, where we grow vegetables and herbs without pesticides. Ishigami-no-Ie is a private rental accommodation limited to one group per day. 8 weeks Fujimi is a secluded house nestled at the foot of Fujimi Panorama Resort. During the day, listen to the babbling of the stream and the refreshing wind of the highlands, and at night, gaze at the moonlight with a warm drink in hand. The villa, with its log house-style interior and grand piano, creates an extraordinary yet familiar space. In 2020, we moved from the city with our then 1-year-old daughter, and we were so fascinated by Fujimi Town that we decided to move there in 8 weeks. After spending a luxurious time in the rich nature, by the time the 8 weeks had passed, I had come to think, "I will continue to live in this town". We named it "8weeks" because we want our guests to have a time that makes them want to stay here. I have lived in this house with my 5-year-old daughter, so you can have a safe and secure stay with your small children. We try to avoid placing things that are likely to be dropped or bumped into, and we also have a variety of picture books, musical instruments, and toys. You can also use it as a base for indoor activities such as telework and music production, and outdoor activities such as mountain climbing, skiing, and MTB. Both the home and the nearby shared office are ideal environments for long-term stays for Digital Nomads!

It is easy to go towards Nagano. Mt. Nagamine, abandoned lines, Daio wasabi, swaths, etc. are close by. We renovated a riverside villa in the forest of Karuizawa. The grounds of this great location are about 2,500 ㎡! Feel the extraordinary atmosphere with a large sofa and fireplace in the living room, a large yard and outdoor dining. In the bathroom, you can enjoy a JAXSON jet bath, a large sauna for 4 people that can be used at the same time, and a rain shower in the bath. Please note that in a natural environment, insects may occur indoors during your stay, as we are renovating an old villa. If you have an excessive allergy to insects, please refrain from booking.

Capsule House-K, a monumental capsule house in nature designed by Kisho Kurokawa

CAPUSULE HOUSE-K is a private house designed by Kisho Kurokawa. It was created based on the concepts of Metabolism and Homo Mobius. This building is composed of the same capsules as the Chugin Capsule Tower Building, which is also a metabolism building, and was completed in 1973, the year after the building was completed. Until now, it has been open only to a few people and was a little-known building, but in 2019, the restoration was started by Kisho Kurokawa's son, and now it is open to the public with the interior of that time.

I renovated this house to comfortable satying. If you will travel with your own car (incl rental car) , to stay this house is one of the good choice. This house is located between Karuizawa and Matsumoto Castle. ---About 60minutes to both places by car. Also close to Shinkansen Station "Sakudaira" and "Ueda" ---About 30minutes to both station by car. Very close to Supermarket, Convenience store, Onsen (japaese hot springs), and local restaruant.
