Great place. Cozy and peaceful. The perfect size to fit a group of 6.

We are in awe with how amazing this place is. The river is a joyous sight to enjoy, the house is comfy, the hosts welcoming, and the drive up was full of grand views. There are trails, games indoors and outdoors, the best stocked kitchen I've ever seen from an Air B&B, and an amazingly relaxing softtub. Wanda and Greg were immediately inviting and let us know in advance what to expect on how to get there and the fun things to do while at Valhalla and in Mattawan. If I could recommend anything to someone coming here it would be to bring a good pair of waterproof shoes and a day pack to explore the mountain paths. They were a great treat and we would walk them again in a heartbeat. There are so many things to rave about at this cozy home I can't list them all here but we will be happy to return and enjoy even more of what Valhalla has to offer.

Lovely house & nice yard. Scenic location near the lake. Clean, well run and a generously stocked kitchen. Hosts were easy to communicate with and obviously put in a lot of work and pride in renting the property.

We loved our stay at Karlee's beautifully decorated and maintained house! It had everything we needed, with extra touches like snacks, baked goods, wine and water in the fridge and a handwritten note. Karlee was prompt to respond to all communications and we felt very well taken care of! We highly recommend her place.

Johanna's place was super cute, clean and cozy. we had a little trouble getting the door unlocked but Johanna responded to my messages immediately and fixed the situation. she was very accommodating to our group and the house was fully stocked with all necessities and then some. a minute walk across the street to the beach but a nice little water view from front porch or living room. I would definitely stay here again.

Joan's place was a great place for us to unwind after the hectic day of our daughter's Nipissing Graduation. We stayed 2 nights in early June, the view of the lake was incredible and sitting on the patio listening to the waves lapping at the shore was just what the doctor ordered. The only problem we had was the fridge wasn't working, Joan had a bar fridge in before we even got there and it was lots big enough for us. Joan was super apologetic and even offered room in her fridge upstairs if we needed it. A trip out to The Trading post is always recommended if you like ice cream, cones are massive! We would definitely stay here again, Joan was fantastic to deal with!

Hannah’s granny flat was lovely. Well appointed furniture, comfy bed, and clean. It is located away from the city and is in a peaceful location. If your travel does not require a full kitchen, then this place is great. As a family, we enjoy cooking large meals while on vacation over several days, so if that is what you are looking for, this place may not be for you. If you need a nice clean place to lay your head in a country setting with nice people, this is it. Thanks for a lovely stay!

Ernest and Gisele were lovely hosts. Gisele gave us a tour when we arrived showing us where to find various supplies and safety equipment and the location of switches, etc. The kitchen was very well supplied with everything we needed. The apartment was spotless and the bed was made up with cozy flannel bedsheets which was perfect for this time of year. All notes and recommendations for local dining were in both French and English which was helpful for us. It was a great place for us to stop for the night on our way home.

This was our third time staying here and as always the accommodations were clean and the pool and hot tub were a hit! Great location, walking distance to downtown restaurants and activities.

Awesome stay! We have stayed at the hotels in the area and were never happy with our stay. Decided to try Sarah’s AIRBNB this time around, we were very pleased with the stay. We will definitely be using this place on all our future visits. It was comfortable, clean and had all the amenities you could need. Very well taken care of. Thank you!!

We found this place exactly as described. Lots of little extras, coffee, bottled water, if preferred, makeup remover pads. The place was spotless, easy to unlock. Kitchenette was well supplied. Sarah responded quickly to questions, gladly allowed us early checkin. We would stay here again. Highly recommend.
