Pack a picnic hamper, fishing rods and sunglasses and head for the river, where you can cast a lure and wait for a bass to strike. The architecturally designed homestead is perfect for large families or groups, with its wrap around veranda and spacious, travertine ensuites, adjoining every room. For biosecurity reasons, we ask that you leave your pets at home, but feel free to encounter the many cattle, horses, Pretty Faced Wallabies, occasional shy koalas and platypus that call this landscape their home. Warranfels Homestead is far enough out of Tenterfield to be peaceful and quiet, but is a convenient 10 minute drive away, with amazing views of the surrounding countryside. The house was built in 1910 and has recently been lovingly restored to it's former glory. It is a grand house with country charm and plenty of room for the whole family. It is situated on 10 acres in the centre of an operating farm. There is approximately 1km of unsealed dirt road after you turn off the Mt McKenzie Road.

Can’t speak more highly of this place. Very well positioned in proximity to Stanthorpe. The house is very fresh, well set out and amenities are great. The little touches like having some basic kitchen supplies available made us feel at home right away. Our only regret was not having luck with the weather to have a go at the fire place outside! Will absolutely be staying again

Tenterfield is a beautiful spot to stay. But Beks place was amazing, just the perfect spot to have our loved ones with us to stay. And Celebrate our wedding at The Ivy Chapel in town. A short drive to Stanthorpe, so much to do. Or to sit and watch the awesome sunsets . Bek was so helpful and a clean house, every detail had be thought of.

Lovely house in peaceful surroundings. We didn't have the best of weather so was great to sit around in front of the fire playing games, watching movies and sitting on the deck looking at the countryside. Lunch at the local pub was very good. I would recommend Karens place for anyone looking for a peaceful, relaxing break away in the country.

My husband and I loved our stay at the Workers Cottage. We had briefly visited Tenterfield last year and had definitely wanted to visit again. The cottage is in a perfect location straight across from parkland, situated in a very quiet street and walking distance to shops. We were so comfortable that we we wished we could have stayed longer. Hopefully we can come back again. We did not get to light the fire place but maybe next time. We are an elderly couple so a special thank you to Julia and Sean and Gayle and Josh on their behalf that helped us with a minor issue we had.

We were greeted with wine and marshmallows and that set the tone for the stay. We were keen to use the fire pit but unfortunately found the weather a bit too cool. We made use of the barbeque and found it very conveniently placed. It was great having firewood available and we enjoyed sitting in the lounge room with the fire roaring and sipping our complimentary wine in the evenings. In the mornings we sat at the table and viewed the lovely autumnal view of the gardens, enjoying the sun streaming in the big windows, whilst having our breakfast. Defiantely a place to recommend.

What a beautiful little cottage. Liz had the fire going for us and the cottage has everything you could want. The bed was very comfy with lots of blankets so it was super cosy. Fantastic yard for our furchild to explore and run off some energy after a day driving. Pubs, shops etc all very close walk. Loved our stay. Thanks again Liz we loved staying at your cottage.

We had a lovely time staying here. Absolutely stunning apartment with a great cook's kitchen. Very homey feel with the fireplace & cosy leather couch. Also love that the bathroom was the old vault room, still with its original door. And the bath was very nice. Thank you for having us 🙏😊

Chelsea's place was beautiful, it's an amazing place to stay and had everything we needed for a few nights. It's very close to the main st in town and east walking distance to pubs, coffee shops, the wine bar and Coles. We asked Chelsea a couple of questions and she responded very quickly.
