Holiday rentals with lake access in Tewkesbury Borough

A great venue for a family get together. Lots of activities for young and older kids! A well equipped kitchen made food preparation easy. We all had a good time

We had the most relaxing weekend in Will and Amanda’s home. We took our paddle boards and used them on the lake directly outside. It was perfect in every way. We will definitely be back, Thankyou😊

We had a very enjoyable stay with the family for a major birthday celebration. The accommodation and location are really lovely. The kayaks with life jackets were available. We had a few minor cleanliness issues which couldn't be resolved during our stay but we did receive modest compensation. One observation; the ladder style steps up to the mezzanine are very steep and not suitable for young children on their own and the beds up there are too small for fully grown adults or tall teenagers!. This is not addressed in the spec of the accommodation. We ate at a local restaurant, The Crown at Ampney Brook. Food and service exemplary.

We were hosted by Rebecca from 20th-23 June. The house was beautiful, well equipped and spotless. Really nice outside area to sit in the sun and admire the picturesque views of the lake. The dogs enjoyed walks around the lakes twice a day and it was a much needed break for us. My husband caught some colourful carp and tench. We would love to stay again and would recommend to others. Thank you for a lovely stay, the lake is absolutely stunning, and being able to paddleboard right from the private jetty was so much fun. The house is great with a large selection of kitchen equipment, and a lovely living space.

The accommodation was superb! However, please note that we had booked it for a group of 8 men participating in the Ultra Challenge 53km charity walk. The group may have made a bit of noise, though we did our best to keep it to a minimum. We also tried to be mindful with the use of the hot tub.

Lovely light house in a great lakeside location. There is a good sized gas BBQ on the terrace which was perfect for feeding our large family gathering. There was one minor issue which the owners resolved rapidly. We would definitely stay again.

A cosy contained flat sitting about an absolutely stunning valley, overlooking a wood beyond. Holly's flat was absolutely perfect for what I wanted - an away from it all, peaceful location where I could study and write. I love nature and I was surrounded by deer, incredible birdsong, red kites, pheasants and so much more. I was lucky to be here for the bluebells and also the golden fields of rapeseed. Ideal location for anyone who likes hill walking, hiking and / or is doing the Cotswold Way. It takes less than 10 mins to drive into Cheltenham, but this place is truly an oasis of calm and serenity. A 6-min drive to the nearest large supermarket, so that was handy. The furniture etc might be a tad dated but, honestly, the price reflects that fact and, frankly, I loved that this wasn't a show home, but rather a well-loved country place. Holly was wonderful to interact with. I recommend this flat in the heart of the Cotswolds. The bed is super comfy too!

Really cosy, comfortable lovely barn, set amongst picturesque lakes and commutable to lots of gorgeous towns.

Great stay, comfortable bed and great location. Chippy and small shop are very convenient.

Lovely stay at Willow Warbler. The estate is beautiful & maintained to a high standard. Very peaceful. The apartment had everything we needed including extra touches like milk, travel cot, washing machine & dishwasher tablets, plenty of cooking equipment, tea bags, oil for cooking etc. There is a nice restaurant & pool on site. We didn’t use the gym as the opening hours weren’t early enough (10-5 so we were out for the day). We travelled with a 9 month old but there looked to be lots of things for older children such as soft play, water sports & play ground. Lots of bird watching to be done. Jane was very good at communicating with us & checking everything was ok. We used the apartment as a base to go out for the day such as to Oxford & Bourton but the apartment is very comfortable if you prefer chilling. Would recommend if you are looking for a quiet relaxed break.

I have absolutely loved my staying here, it was just a perfect weekend. In the middle of peaceful nature, a super clean, charming and cozy mansion which made us love our time in the Cotswolds. It has everything you need to spend both short and long stays here. Perfect instructions to reach the place too. Excellent value for money too. Definitely recommended to families or two couples of friends.

A very pleasant and private apartment, set in some beautiful, peaceful and tranquil grounds. I was lucky enough to be there over a couple of sunny and warm days in June which made pottering around the gardens even more enjoyable. Oh, forgot to mention the homemade jams and cakes...

We had a wonderful stay in the cottage- it’s beautiful, homely and well catered and stocked. The hosts are very friendly and helpful and really try to ensure you have a great time there. The surroundings are brilliant and really worked for our multigenerational weekend get away- there was something for everyone. We will definitely come back. We had a wonderful stay, we only wish we'd booked for longer. The cottage was beautiful, exceptionally clean, spacious and had everything that we needed and the Aga was wonderful. It was quiet, peaceful and surrounded by beautiful countryside. Victoria provided us with all the information we needed for the cottage and the local area and was available if we needed to make contact. We will definitely be returning soon. Thank you for a wonderful break to celebrate our 20 Year wedding anniversary.

The photos don’t do the lovely place justice. I was worried it wasn’t going be big enough for us, due to the fact I was using it as place to have us together to get ready for the morning of my wedding. The cottage was spacious, beautiful, cosy and was perfect for us all! There was ample of parking which was perfect. I would highly recommend and would stay again if another occasion. Both Angela and her daughter were great at responding to anything we required. They also accepting of any mess we left due to leaving late - bride always arrives fashionably late!

Wow! What an amazing weekend. Susan's cottage was peaceful, had everything you need and she made us feel right at home. Nothing was too much for her to organize for us and for my mum's 70th birthday. Truthfully think the cottage and surroundings are even better than the photos showing it. It was difficult to leave the peace and quiet this morning and the hot tub was an amazing benefit, spent every night in it. Thank you Susan and family for a fabulous weekend.

Wow! What a fabulous, totally relaxing weekend in the most beautiful and peaceful surroundings. We (and our 2 miniature Dachshund) just loved that as soon as you stepped of the front door, there was so much garden, woods, lake and fields to explore. And don't forget the peacocks, Roger and Kevin, adding that magical touch passing right by the front of the cottage. Jean was so lovely too. We absolutely would love to return xx

Fantastic stay- idylic views perfect for a peaceful getaway. The house was well stocked with family friendly equipment, and features like the bbq were perfect for sunset evenings. We would definitely recommend our stay to any small group wanting quiet evenings and busy watersports days

Fairhazel was a lovely cottage. Spotlessly clean with many thoughtful touches and lots of goodies. Lower Mill Estate is a lovely place to stay with lots to do - paddle boarding, swimming, walking, tennis and cycling. We would definitely recommend and will return. Thank you Jason

We visited with family for a birthday celebration and thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Cider Mill. It is the perfect venue for a large gathering and Harad was super helpful throughout. Would highly recommend
